Just for future expectations: -tba- basically means that something is not guaranteed or fixed... it only means it is planned or there is work in progress to make it happen - not more and not less. I've got my own rule for that; A concert can be considered fixed when there's a concert-entry online _at the actual venue_! A schedule by the artist -> pretty much worthless. A schedule by the promoter -> better but take care of -tba- slots! I only trust a concert when there's a schedule-entry on the venue-website and when there are tickets available. With BLOOD and Vienna; there was not even a venue announced...
-
nope, vienna/austria was -tba- until the end, there was no venue announced neither were tickets sold… I'd say Kiwamu has nothing to do with this, seems like the promoter just did not catch a venue in time.
-
Just to let you you know: they moved the Austria-gig on 8th of april to Munich (Germany); "AUSTRIAN AND GERMAN FANS - BIG CHANGE IN BLOOD'S TOUR! For some practical reasons, we won't be able to do BLOOD's concert in Vienna on April 8th. We are really sorry for the fans from Austria, but due to some unexpected trouble, we have to cancel this concert. Instead, BLOOD will play in Munich, @'Garage Deluxe'"

hmm, not nice indeed - but as long as Yuu will carry on with Chirinuruwowaka… ok - different style… but at least that would mean we won't "totally" loose her as a vocalist.

I think he's at the JPS Tracker now... or at least he mentioned that he will get back there... And he's still available on last.fm if you need to contact him. He's a very nice guy btw.

E-Tickets (for outside of france) to print out at home should be available at the Torpedo-Shop soon... http://torpedo-productions.com/Shop-EU-tickets.html I'm not really involved in that process so I can't tell how it is handled at different countries and for different venues (it will not be the same for every venue)... You can always send an E-Mail to [email protected] -> usually you should get an answer within a week (either from Torpedo or from a local promoter - they usually forward requests like that to the local promoter if they don't have an answer themselves). Maybe you can get the tickets directly from the venue - seems like they have got a ticket-reservation system; http://www.charlatan.be/tickets (right now a gig-entry is not online) But again; I'm only involved in the Austria-Gig, I can't really comment on the other gigs...

@Lily: tickets for vienna will be online in a few days - hopefully this weekend, depends on when / how / if Torpedo will incorporate it in their online shop (they have a print@home service)… anyways - no need to worry about not getting a ticket since I doubt it will sell out that fast and it's always possible to get tickets on site. Ticket price for Austria will be about 25€… location is here; http://www.replugged.at/index.php/where_english.html concert-entry not online yet, just be a little patient (will take a few days)… if you have any further questions regarding Austria just ask =)

according to the Facebook-Account from Torpedo Productions there will be a Belgium-Date... but I don't see any info on the actual place/venue/tickets so I think they are still negotiating on the final details. -> just run that one through Google Translate (from french to whatever) to get the idea...

look what a beautiful CM I found when I was browsing through some Mackie-Hardware (Audio Mixer & stuff) ACo3VgXijlU

"Dates for Screw European tour will be announced on january the 17th. Stay tuned!" http://www.facebook.com/pages/Torpedo-P ... 2583472120 -> Torpedo Facebook just earlier…
-
short answer: Austria: will be moved to friday, 20th of april - and will most likely take place in a smaller venue. Belgium: still not confirmed - searching for a venue (Torpedo, don't know about Ramen Events in that case) Finland: should be fine And to the people in Poland; they (Torpedo +some local partner, don't know who it is) are looking for a venue for saturday, 21st now… so there's still a small chance that a concert in Poland is possible. This is my latest info from Torpedo - but it is no public info and it is no final info so don't take it for granted! (also please don't post this info on like their official Facebook to spare me some trouble…).
-
damn… really liked (most of) their stuff!
-
I'd chime in with that; Austria, Belgium and Finland are still not confirmed! So with these 3 dates there's a chance that the dates get moved or even cancelled <- that should be only to these 3 dates, the rest should be fine. Seems like D put the schedule on their Facebook without waiting for a confirmation from Torpedo… I'd say the final ("correct") info will be up in about a week anyways.
-
What's your schedule-source? According to my info 3 dates from this list were still not confirmed (tbc) just a few days ago! I wouldn't take this list for granted (as I don't see this as an official tour-release)… but as for the countries being visited; most of it should be fine, I only see one or two possible date-shifts…

it usually just depends on wether there's a local promoter or company available to take care of the venue, promotion and on-site support… or not… outside of France (and Belgium maybe?) Torpedo Prod can only team up with other people to make it happen… so maybe it is to harsh to blame them. I'm sure you can talk to them if you'll be able to book a venue, take care of promotion and stuff -> at least that's how I started. maybe I'm just biased as I work(ed) with them from time to time but I think most of the time they're doing a good job and really push things forward here in Europe (even for the not so well known artists where you don't have the same audience numbers as with e.g. Versailles…).

just stumbled upon some new electro-pop/rock with female vox that looks kind of interesting/nice; パスピエ (passepied) http://passepied.jp/ here's a full (animated) PV; (direct embedding somehow doesn't work on that one?) and a preview to their 1st full album, out last month; ET2zFlk4oS8 ok, I wouldn't call it "special" from how it sounds (reminds me of some other artists [like Tamurapan at times, but electrified of corse]). Anyways - I think it's worth a shot… Hopefully I can get my hands on the CD soon.

Tickets are available for online-purchase @ me-shop: http://www.me-shop.net/catalog/index.php?cPath=80 where are you from?

first thing I always do after arrival (depending on arrival situation / jetlag but at least on my first "regular" day); riding thunder dolphin at LaQua -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunder_Dolphin best thing to do to get your adrenaline-shot and kind of getting awake - everyone should try! Only bad thing -> it seems to be closed at the moment (I think to due an accident some time ago?). But if it's open -> don't hesitate; it's fun. as for live-houses; you should find all info you need on the nets (tokyo gig guide & others, I'll post some links later on if needed)… and make sure to check out Shimokita - one of my fav. spots in tokyo (esp. for Indie Lovers). One of my personal insider-tipps is to visit a midday-live at mona records on a saturday or sunday. Way relaxing - you can get your ticket with some food and enjoy way nice and pretty much unknown local Indie-Artists (more on the indie-pop and singer-songwriter side but I've also seen stuff like post rock there). as for transportation; get yourself a SUICA (most convenient way is by just buying the SUICA N'ex ticket at the airport on your arrival)… also check yourself a place to stay where you're not too far away from subway/railway-stations (best is Yamanote line). I find Ikebukuro to be a nice spot but that's up to your preferences - the music stpots are usually located around shibuya and shinjuku. as for hotels; your usual business class hotel should offer wired lag or even wlan which works just fine… I did not need a telephone/handset there - just got everything organized with the internet at the hotel (and with maps and stuff on my phone - but "offline" usage was enough for me). as for "tourist spots" -> the usual stuff… Ueno Park, Tokyo Tower, Oidaba and stuff… but for me it was all about visiting live-houses every evening and not so much touristic stuff. if you need any assistance feel free to ask… =)

hmm, is this a rock only thread or is pop also allowed? I just found a piece of music that's really stuck in my head right now… it is indie-pop… very very nice an soothing, with an interesting video. Didn't know anything about the artist until now but since there are quite some experts around here (CAT?!?) I'll just post it, maybe you know them already… it's a band called "good-bye ponytail" (さよならポニーテール). They've got an album released earlier this year… according to the YT-views they are maybe not that small (quite some views for indies) ? Qp0tspO6fbE

since I missed them like 2 times already I try to finally make it to the munich-gig...

I'm on a (few) Mac(s)... literally since Mac OS Classic 9.x, so for quite some time now and way before the "iHype" started. at work still on OSX 10.5-10.6 because 10.7 is not ready for our production environment right now (video production), at home I'm also on 10.6 but will soon upgrade to 10.7 to get a hold of the iCloud-stuff... I've also got Windows and Linux Machines running for Support-Reasons - but only as virtual machines (works just fine)... on my phone it's iOS 5

it was not for drinking, just for dinner... actually he didn't drink any alcohol - so I can't answer your p.s question but they were quite nice guys all together, can't say anything bad about them (and if so - I'd be restricted to talk about it ) @Wicked Teletubby: nice!

why did it get that silent in here? Anyways: It was a quite nice experience to work with these guys and their staff - all nice people. I must admit I'm not into the VK-thing but they've put on a really nice show 2 days ago. Of corse the venue staff was a bit surprised about an audience that big with a Band they've never heard of before here are a few pics; http://www.flickr.com/photos/44502430@N ... 7735071659

Japan Expo in Paris is pretty nice - also when it comes to (live-)music… As for the smaller con's in other countries - it depends… Good for promoting my music-stuff at least.
