To be honest, I reckon not a lot of bass players can replicate his bass work, should he leave. As for shuuji, once he leaves, so does the hordes of fangirls that support them financially. Makoto would be the only choice that does not affect the band in terms of song output & technical prowess but ya, I like his ridiculousness. Fact: he is more popular than kenjiro in Japan; kenjiro's fan with his face on it (like those seen in Johnny's Junior concerts), out of the 4 members, sold the worst.

That's debatable cos they saved the good stuff for their live-distributed CDs; 'トゥナイトゥナイヤヤヤ' and the various remakes were REALLY good (well, based on what I heard at their recent concerts). XA-VAT should be gone for good since goatbed's relatively active and the other members have moved on to other stuff. And lab. the basement still has concerts in the next few months and Cuckoo's drummer already has a new band.

The news's very vague; it says its the end of the 7th version of cali gari. But if they are really going on hiatus, they would have made a bigger deal out of it, I reckon.

Liberation, liar, cracker's baby & fairy's malice are from the live distributed CDs. If nightmare & sandy are directly taken from the disco single, then this is just a obvious cash grab :/

Thanks for the reply; Harajuku is always a hit or miss, depending on the season then. Mine is a tropical country so it would be crazy to wear long sleeved clothing and sometimes I visit Japan in winter when only long sleeve clothes are available Which is why I'll much rather buy clothes online 1st and anything else I find while walking the streets is a nice bonus

Hi all, I was wondering where Jrock bands get all those wonderful clothes/shoes from, esp the white boots seen in the extreme left in this photo: Just Jrock-ish clothes & accessories in general. I'm specifically looking for links to Japanese websites/Rakuten, since I'm going for a short vacation in Japan in June and am planning to buy all these clothes online and ship them to my hotel before I reach. I noticed that all the songs covered are from 'The rose god gave me' album onwards, which is the 'metal phase' that the 'reborn' SADS since they came back in 2010 seems to be focusing on. Oh well. BABYLON is godly. And isn't there supposed to be a 'S' cover album as well? It was reported eons ago together with this M album. Hopefully, they saved all the major artists in the M album.

Given kiyoharu's seniority in the industry & 'brand name', I would have thought he has more say & influence on what he releases. Maybe his stuff ain't selling that well so record executives refused to give him that freedom :/

Whatever what happened to akira? His profile has disappeared from baroque's official website: www.pigmy.jp and I can't find any news on why this is so. The lack of activities since the release of "ノンフィクション", and that the DVDs that come with the CDs show only Kei & ryo is worrying. Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'm still waiting for that SADS 'S' & 'M' tribute album that was announced earlier this year but gradually disappearing into nothingness....

As a long time fan who has been supporting them since they formed, bought all their DVDs (including fan club limited ones) & flew to Japan to watch 5 out of 6 of their album themed 10th Anniversary concerts, this new song is a disappointment after the awesomeness that is 梟 and definitely not the direction that I want to see them pursue. But it is their band after all *shrugs*

Unless, I'm reading it incorrectly, how do you release a DVD of the live you just played on the same day???
