I'm still excited for THE TRUE MURDEROUS INTENT, even though titles can be misleading. I hope this one will not. Pledge is not doing much to me right now. The preview is kind of bland to be honest. Hopefully the full thing will be better.

GODFUCKINGDAMNIT This comes as a shock. Out of all bands Kagrra, was one of the few you would not expect at all to call it quits. All of their releases were great. I spend many hours listening to their beautiful melodies. Will look out towards their last album with mixed feelings. Really don't want them to quit... This SUCKS

Neverland stands out as the best new song, while they're all good. Even though I miss some darker stuff too, I'm very happy with the new songs. The best they could so is a mix of darker songs and the kind of music they do now. But either way, it's still good music. 7.5/10

It has a bit more variation than VERSUS, but the songs got worse IMO. I agree with SUBLIMINAL: Natsuki needs to learn how to sing, or just leave the band. Nothing against him personally of course, but he just cannot sing very well and while he covers that up on some old songs, this album really shows his weak points. 3/10 for the album as a whole IMO. Some decent songs but none really come further than 5/10 or so.

Maybe they should slow down. Their last releases were pretty decent but if they really want to make good music they need to give themselves more time to think about the songs. They still make good music but it can get better and they don't allow themselves too. Or perhaps it's the label. Either way: shame. ;(

PV is awesome, though I lol'ed at the singer sometimes. Instrumental wise it's awesome. Very good. But it's such a shame about the vocals... they shouldn't have touched those. It sounds like they used some whiny emo version of autotune to rape his voice. It's fucking terrible. I'm sorry, but the vocals ruin it for me. I was impressed by the music but I hate the vocals.

I'm disappointed by both Rotate and Sky High... they're average songs. They can do better than this. They have to!
-
The second cover is awesome indeed.

Seems like this album is going to make everyone forget about X-RAYS. Yay!
-
How stupid. They cannot continue a tour while missing their most important band member. It's like selling a Ferrari without an engine. 'the fuck are they doing?

Their latest singles were good. Excited for the album!

I'm not too excited about this single. At least not so much as I see others be. It's alright I suppose. The first two tracks are no surprise. Nice compositions, nice guitars, alright vocals, but nothing that really stands out. The intro to the title track is boring though. Glowing Butterfly has a better intro. But the third track I don't really like at all. I don't feel anything when listening to it. Sure, the bass playing of Masashi is worth mentioning, but as a whole I just don't like it. :/ This style does not suit them, I think. Overall rating: 6.5/10.

My favorite.

Your avatar perfectly illustrates everything that is wrong with the j-rock fanbase, lol

Actually I believe the complete opposite of what you say. o: I think it's very "generic-pop-alt-rock". Gotta admit the video is kinda cool though, but the song is just shitty.
-
Don't bother, it's beyond horrible. I used to like their music a lot. Today I'm not so into them anymore but I wouldn't mind listening to their first few albums again. But this... this new song is total shit. Their new album is probably gonna suck.

This could be hit or miss. Not sure if excited... let's wait and see.

That pretty much sums it up for me. Same here. Certain looks can have a positive effect on how you experience music. I agree on the GazettE with DIM. Especially the video for DISTRESS AND COMA couldn't have possibly been better. It fits the musical atmosphere perfectly. It works both ways of couse. I associate some looks with certain music genres. The average metal band with long haired dudes who pose in a certain "bad-ass" way on their band photos, are VERY repelling. But if I had never heard of 9GOATS BLACK OUT, I'm sure their visual presentation would instantly make me curious about their music.

If they come to the Netherlands I don't think I will go. I saw them last time they were here and it was really awesome. But now the last album sucked balls. Meh. Maybe, maybe...
-
I don't think heidi. ever was really "powerful". But they don't need to be. I love the atmosphere they create in their music and the vocalist's voice. It's no disappointment to me. I liked Panorama as well. But I think the new album is a little bit better.
-
I loved it at first listen so it's not a grower for me. This may be their best album yet. I'm also too lazy to do a full review, so I'll rate the album as whole: a very good 8/10 from me.
-
Great, like I expected. Possibly the best album of the year for me, but I'll have to listen a few more times till I can make a final judgement. But it's nothing less than awesome, that's for sure. I don't agree on what you say about 9,10 and 13 though. I think they're all good songs. There are no fillers on this album for me. (:

Well, taking a piercing would be useless if it didn't change your appearance, right? Changing your look is the whole point. And people who take a piercing often believe it looks good on them. Who would take a piercing if they think it makes them uglier?

I believe alien abduction is a lot more plausible than those other theories, actually. But yeah, this is just a rumor thread. Nothing is proven and there are no reliable sources mentioned. Moving this to rumors would be better I think.
