Second time. I liked the concert in Utrecht too but he was even better in Amsterdam.

What are all these negative comments about the concert in The Netherlands, man, what the hell? This was one of the BEST concerts I've been to. Apart from some slight problems with the sound here and there, it was awesome! About him walking away after the first song to improve the sound: that's great, not stupid. If I were on stage I wouldn't continue if I didn't like the sound mixing. I'd rather see an artist pause to improve some things, instead of going on like nothing is wrong, because that would just be ridiculous. Excellent choice of songs, most of them are much more enjoyable live than on CD. The raw guitar sounds fit the songs of his new album perfectly. His loud screams were fantastic and the energetic performance was very fun to watch. He was definitely having fun. His drummer was too (and he was GOOD). His looks also fit in very well. He has much more of a rock attitude than he had before. I like it. And damn, that man can play the guitar. My appreciation towards him has grown a lot since yesterday's show. Gonna play that newest album more often the upcoming weeks, definitely! Great show!

I was about to post that one, then I saw your post! OH! WE'RE GOING TO IBIZA! BACK TO THE ISLAND!

Well, you can't really talk about a new look yet. Or have you seen a new picture with clothes?

4GB player here. I always have Golden Earring, LUNA SEA, DEAD END and D'ERLANGER on it. Not their entire discographies, the albums and songs change regularly, but the artists never leave. But there is this one song that has been on it for a while now and I think it will be for a loooong time to come: SERAFINE by DEAD END. Beautiful.

What is it? An album, a single, a mini-album, or is that still unknown? Anyway, looking forward to it.

Senor Senora Senorita is my favorite Miyavi song, hopefully he keeps on playing that. The rest of the setlist looks fine.
-
The rerecorded LUNA SEA album sounds like a whole new album. It's more than awesome. Excellent production. Excellent vocals. Excellent everything. Much love to LUNA SEA for this.

The new album can be found on the internet right now. It's been released by iTunes already, I've been told. Not sure though. Either way, it can be found. I'm pretty damn positive about it. Half of the songs are actually pretty predictable, starting with the first song already (Shot in the Dark), but they still feel like a fresh new wind from Within Temptation. In The Middle of the Night full version is fucking awesome. Listen! This album has renewed my interest in this band. Makes me really want to listen to them again on a regular basis. Also to their older albums. It's just been too long they released a new album. Now it's here, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

LOOSING MY WAY OF THE PROUD = fail title Deathtopia = awesome title But Sadie titles have always been like that, a mix from horrible to pretty good. Still, it doesn't matter if that proud song is going to be good or bad, it must be embarassing to watch this title on the back of your album cover if you're a fan of the band. It's just a shame no one around them seemed to bother to point out how wrong that title is.
-
This might just increase my interest in them again. But let's just wait for the new single first and see if it's any good.

Lillies and Remains album, because they're awesome 9mm Parabellum Bullet album and single, also because they're awesome lynch. album, because they have much potential but not showing it all yet The Kills album, amazing duo, great music Within Temptation album to some extend (I know some songs will suck and others will be alright) That's it for now. edit: and any 8-eit releases of course , I almost forgot them

Another example of people shouting "OMG PLAGIARISM" way too quickly. Be honest guys, the melody of that MUCC song is fairly simple and straightforward. It's also very positive sounding and even a bit childish. It could've easily been a "Kinderen voor Kinderen" melody as well. There are thousands of bands in this world and many million different songs. What are the odds that such a melody would be thought of by two different people, of all the people in the entire world? Probably like 99.71% or something. It is very much possible they have never heard of MUCC before. So unless they admit they've been influenced or admit they've copied the song, there's no evidence and there's no one who really cares either (except for mindless hardcore MUCC fans and/or Japanophiles who like to see this as an opportunity to show Japanese artists are oh-so much more creative with music and others just steal...)

Finally an announcement from a Japanese rockband that is worth getting excited over. That's getting pretty rare lately. 9mm rocks, looking forward to this!

Has there ever been a live-only single with a song that has been proven unmissable in a band's discography? Not one I've heard... they've all been songs which were previously album rejects or did not even make it as a b-side on some single. Or at least they sound like that. It's a cheap way for bands to attract more audience to their shows (or justify the high price of a ticket for that show), to offer some sort of exclusivity which in the end appears to be something everyone could've easily done without. I don't have high expectations for this... but I still have for their upcoming album, whenever it comes.

Thanks for the youtube video! Sounds amazing. Can't wait... to listen to one of the best albums of 2011.
-
I'm guessing because they have grown a lot in all these years and now have access to high quality gear they felt it would be good to rerecord their first album with much better production quality. They know they made great songs on that album but they were never used to their full potential. But now they can. It's also easier than creating a brand new album because the songwriting part has already been done long ago. My computer won't play the previews on the website. It says it does not support the file type and searching for an add-on to support the file type has no results. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

What Is Going On With The Human is easily one of their best songs, if any D song deserved an awesome PV, then that song would be it. I'm actually kind of confused nobody at D said "hey guys, this song is so kick-ass, we should release this as the next single instead of putting it as a b-side here".
-
Fairly simple, but so effective and powerful. And stylish, very stylish. He should have kept this for a long time. ... all those red/green/blue/rainbow colored and extremely weird hair styles just make me laugh.
-
Hopefully they mix some raw good old rock 'n roll into this one. I can see that would be a great combination.

For some reason I often find songs about a girl/woman very nice. Or songs who portrait a girl/woman as a symbol for a larger group or an entire society. Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin is a great example of this. The Doors - Love Street The Doors - Queen of the Highway The Doors - Unhappy Girl The Doors - You're Lost Little Girl Golden Earring - Suzy Lunacy Nightwish - Eva DEAD END - Serafine The Rolling Stones - Angie The Black Crowes - She Talks to Angels Some more examples. Even if I'm not entirely sure what the song is about in some cases, they set this kind of atmosphere you only get with this theme...

Horrible, horrible, song. If any other artist released this crap it would be pushed aside immediately. But it's Lady Gaga so her little "monsters" will adore the sound of every footstep she makes and the scent of every perfume she wears. Well, I wasn't a fan of songs like Poker Face or Paparazzi but compared to Born This Way... I consider them masterpieces.

His face when he started to sing. What the hell. Forced emotions like that make me puke. Fake shit. Boring song too. Standard ballad which only 12 year olds will like because they haven't heard much good ballads yet.
