I'm really excited for the new season. I have hopes they'll bring back the creep factor from the first two seasons. I thoroughly enjoyed Coven but I didn't find it creepy/scary at all and there were massive plot holes for me. But still, I'll probably buy it when it comes out on blu-ray anyway.

I've visited: -England -France -Scotland -Japan and many of the states in the US: -Florida -Georgia -Louisiana -Tennessee -Virginia -Ohio -Maryland -New York -New Jersey -Pennsylvania -Colorado -Texas -Oklahoma -California -Oregon -Washington -Washington D.C. Plus driven through more (but we didn't stop to check things out so I don't think they count). I'll be on my first trip to see Canada this fall. I'm visiting a friend in Vancouver and I'm excited. Most of my trips abroad only last for a week or so. My trip to Scotland was an exception because it was a failed attempt to move there and I got to stay a little over a month. I really want to visit Japan again and do more because my last trip consisted of wandering around not really knowing what I wanted to do more than doing cool things. And I didn't speak but a handful of Japanese words at the time. Now my Japanese is much better and I'd be able to start conversations with people which I think would also make the trip much more fun. As for OPs questions... It varies depending on where you're from. I found my flight to Japan this time was around $1200 (booking nearly 6 months in advance). I'm very okay with staying in hostels in Tokyo so my budget is around $30 a night. Then food is easily $50+ (this is assuming I'll be out and eating at cafes and restaurants, buying food to cook at the hostel would be considerably cheaper) a day. As I'm planning a trip in the future to stay around a month long, I'd need around $5000 to eat, sleep, travel (not just flight but also trains, cabs, buses, ect), and shop comfortably. I've heard of some people renting a house/home for extended trips (30 days or longer), but I would have no idea how to do that. Does anyone have advice on that? Edit: I forgot Ohio and Maryland in my US states visited, so added that just now.

Filtered to hell and back, but I don't like many pictures of myself enough to share. So this is the most recent thing I got.

I knew Gazette were gonna take this one. Gazette were one of my gateway visual kei bands, as well. But they lost me completely with the last few releases. They seem to have fallen into this rut that I find boring and predictable. Nightmare, on the other hand, has always left me bored and unimpressed, to be frank. But overall, Gazette at least had more than a few years I felt were worthy of the attention they got, so they get my vote.

They are in the top 20 for sure!! Right next to ClearVeil & Dir en grey. But over the years some might have squeezed them out of the top 10... ^^;

I generally try to be front row so we don't really participate. We move over as little as we have to, then just run back to our spots. >_>;;; If I'm further back then I just get out of the way. I'm pretty sure it will depend on the size of the venue and how hype the crowd is for them, too. The first time I saw them Ken didn't do it.

I can't help but to love this group. I find the music to be really good and super catchy, and really what else could I ask for. Their fans keep telling me I have to go listen to the rest of their girl group, and I'm pretty sure that's never gonna happen because I only got into this project due to it being a twist on metal. But I hope these girls ride the novelty until the wheels fall off. I'm kinda scared what GaGa's crowd will think of them, but then again even bad press is good press. Their name is getting out to literally millions of people because of it so I'm sure in the end it'll all be worth it.

LULZ Their videos. They just need to shoot live videos or party videos forever. hahahaha. There is always either horrible cheap cg or bad acting or both. I can't with them. Just listen to the cd. haha. I've been watching all their live footage and going crazy. I can't wait to party with you and rock out to the new songs. We can expect this awesome-ness.

That's an awesome video I really need to look into some of those bands. I didn't realize that so many of the newer bands were putting in hardcore breaks. I know BIOSPHIA and NOKUBURA for the heavy stuff, that's about it. I haven't been listening to a lot of VK these days but the thread title didn't say it had to be from visual bands so I thought I'd share some of my favorite crunch right now. This entire song is basically one massive breakdown but, 1:00-1:30, then another at 2:20-2:55. This band is so sick, I really hope they find a new singer soon. 1:25-1:55 0:56-1:58, + 3:40-4:35 1:58-2:30 2:00-3:00 Man just making this list got me so amped up. I need to go make some tea. hahaha Oh and also my favorite favorite dubstep breakdown in the universe. 1:50-2:40

Florida, USA. We got Disney World and Harry Potter Land (Aka Universal Studios) so it's not too bad.

@dorasuteika I appreciate that. I definitely understand how someone could feel it was a step back, because it does sound like something that would come before Zion. But I think if you try to just look at the album as it's own thing and not where it came in their catalog... like if you had never heard them before, would you like this album?... it should show it's merits. I hope so, anyway. ^^ I'm also really excited to hear these songs live, because like you said, it can really make or break songs for me too.

Everyone loves Zion, but I do think their most recent release (Apocalyze) encompasses more of their new and older styles. You'll get a little taste of everything with that one. Their older music was more technical and ethereal, while Zion was the pinnacle of their straight-foward mosh-happy sound. I really can't agree about the new album with the previous comments.... I think it's a great album. It did take me a few listens to fully accept it, I think because we all wanted Zion pt.2, but it definitely grew on me and I'd say it's a really strong release from them.

I second that. They really are super friendly and fun guys. I'm so excited that they're back. I finalized my tickets and I'll be at all 3 California shows, Vancouver BC, Atlanta, all 3 Florida shows, and Dallas. I hope we get to finally hang out!

Members: Kenta Koie - Vocals Terufumi Temano - Panorama, Program Kazuki Takemura - Guitar Hiroki Ikegawa - Bass Tatsuya Amano - Drums Crossfaith is a Japanese metalcore band from Osaka that was formed in 2006. The band is considered to play the style of music known as electronicore, due to their blend of influences from metalcore, industrial metal, hardcore, metal and electronica. They have thus been described as “Slipknot tearing The Prodigy limb from limb.” Releases: Apocalyze [2013.08.07] Zion [2012.06.20] The Dream, The Space [2011.04.20] The Artificial Theory For The Dramatic Beauty [2009.04.01] Blueprint of Reconstruction [2008.??.??] ((They have some demo releases that I can't find exact dates for but if anyone would like to chime in with that I'll update the post.)) Official links: OHP Youtube Facebook Twitter ====== Is anyone else going to see them when they tour with The Amity Affliction this fall? Has anyone else seen them live? They tour outside of Japan a lot and with bigger bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, Enter Shikari, and they did Vans Warped in the US and UK. They've been my favorite non-vk band for a while now and even though Ken screams 90% of the time, I find their music isn't so heavy that it alienates people who wouldn't normally be into metal. I'd love to have other Crossfaith fans to talk to around here.

Swanky Dank (pop-punk) is a new obsession lately, but they kind of got eclipsed by the new Slaves (popcore) album.

I enjoyed KuRt during their time, but I enjoyed CPS a lot more during theirs. It was just more polished and solid to me.
