With a title like that, they better have those damn orchestral sounds to the max in there! Sprinkle some Rookie Fiddler violin up in there
  2. Augie1995

What the hell was that?! ^
  3. Augie1995

And they left out Muryoku na tenohira I want them backQ
  4. Augie1995

Definitely, Worms was absolutely horrible, it was like Akercock all over again. This. Just because the songs were recorded then not used right away doesn't signify that the songs are leftovers. Songs are sometimes left alone for the fact that the musicians don't feel the song is complete yet. They aren't necessarily all leftovers. Alice Nine had the same situation with their song 4U on their GEMINI album

Ooooh, I am so excited for this now that it feels like competition! Whose will be better? I can't wait!
  6. Augie1995

Does sound better than Jupiter's trailer but I'm still more excited for Jupiter than KAMIJO. Also, isn't KAMIJO the epitome of cheesy? And is no one going to comment on that hilarious line: "The master is back!"

Did he leave his monkey in Germany?

DIM SCENE is absolutely perfect, the way it starts off slow and rather dark and it sort of just picks up the pace then blasts off after the solo. This song live at Tokyo Dome was their best performance to date IMO. What I really want though is another song like Nakigahara

After almost a month of no new news, finally we get a PV preview. Intro and riffs sounds good, chorus is a bit like the rest of their songs though. Still excited for the solo

Completely agree with Zess. Also adding that I am more excited if this means a dip back into the old GazettE that everyone supposedly misses. Here's what I'm hoping for out of this. Maybe, now, Uruha and Aoi will get out of that drastic Drop A tuning and since it's being modeled to the SR/NIL era, they'll get back into Drop C/C# tuning. All of my favorite songs of theirs are in those tunings: Without a Trace, Baretta, Nausea and Shudder, PLEDGE, Untitled, etc.

With Vistlip, the phrase "Don't judge a book by its cover" takes on a whole new DIMENSION With songs like Drama Queen, Android's dream, and milk&macaron which sound super cheesy but were good songs, I really need some previews before getting excited based on the tracklist but these do sound very badass. Gloster-like
  12. Right, which is why I gave my thoughts, although unnecessary. Music is and will always be subjective. I can bet you that with every single band in the world, there will always be a person with a though opposite to yours. I seem to be that person to you when talking about Alice Nine PS. I apologize for the double post
  13. Is there anyone else here who actually seconds this? I mean, I honestly feel like they were awesome, then released that Revolution to New Age which just blew (only like one song from their that wasn't previously released), and since then, have been getting WAY better, even now delving into heavy sounds constantly.

I have to agree but I do love his vocals a lot more than their first vocalist and I have no problem with his clean vocals since his heavy vocals make up for it. Comparing their albums though, I feel they got better. Their second album had a theme to it as will their next one, Juggernaut. But while their first one was a really cool album, it felt more like it was just Misha's favorite little demos turned into songs. Jetpacks was Yes being my favorite along with LIght and Letter Experiment. Their second album definitely had better production, and was a lot better (maybe partially due to the guest stars such as John Petrucci and Guthrie Govan) About his voice, Spencer had pitch correction in the first one and in the second one there wasn't any, or at least barely, according to an interview with Misha and Jake Bowen. Plus, another thing that I found that they improved upon is that they did djent a lot in the first album but they sort of advanced away from using it the whole time to using it more efficiently in their sound, partially having to do with Misha Mansoor and Jake Bowen hanging out a lot with Tosin Abasi on tours
  15. Their old stuff was great IMO but I find myself having more favorite songs coming from their most recent stuff from Kakera and after. Those are my two cents, so I think Peace Heavy mk II should definitely try the old stuff, but tread lightly on their newer stuff rather than avoid it. I guess I forgot to add Buck-Tick, Kaggra, and Kuroyume
  16. Hahaha I love CAT5's gif for Biopanda's post xD I think for me, it would have to be: X JAPAN, Luna Sea, 9mm Parabellum bullet, and MAXIMUM THE HORMONE. I think that's all the main big ones I can think of.
  17. Augie1995

Completely 2nd this, also adding: ViViD - Lately.... HAHAHAHA! Sorry, thought I would open with a joke. Matenrou Opera - I loved their old stuff but their new stuff sounds a lot more better and I am hooked by every release. I think it's because of the better production on their stuff and that gorgeous new album of theirs Periphery - They used to be an all djent mathcore band but lately they've been getting lighter on the djent stuff and have some more awesome songs! Vistlip - It might just be me but they were awesome then, but now they are getting better. CHIMERA was pretty good, GLOSTER has to be the heaviest, sickest release yet by them, and their latest album was better to me than prior ones.
  18. Yeah, then they lost one of their guitarist, but before that they released that crap of a single called "Happymaker" And I am here to add "SuG" They went downhill after Mitsuru left This comment is downright blasphemous to me. If anything ever since the start of 2010, they've been maturing as a band in both sound and style. I think the only things that have been slightly OK was Heart of Gold and Niji no Yuki (Just that title track, the b-sides were amazing as always) Also, how is Versailles, NEGA, and BORN not on here. NEGA, we all know when that happened. BORN, basically after DOGMA came out, and Versailles, after Jubilee, even though Holy Grail had some high points
  19. Augie1995

Well this utter and absolute crap. Although... the Para:noir legacy continues... will they come back anew?
  20. Augie1995

I feel like no matter what news is given out by them, unless it's a new album, everyone is going to turn into Peacy Heavy mk II's signature gif
  21. Augie1995

I can't really tell because you decided to share the remix version of the song and the second video has horrible audio quality and the guitar is barely audible. From what I can hear from SUGIZO's song, it sounds like he's just picking the strings on his acoustic and he has a Delay effect pedal on to create the phantom-ish notes that follow the notes he plays. There really isn't a term to it, he's probably playing using alternative picking but other than that, I don't have an answer for you.

^I love how on your review of song 5, you censored ass, but left fuck out there in the open. Anyways, this album I had absolute high hopes, the highest. After fully listening to the album, I could tell that no matter what, this album would always surpass them. Everyone though that them becoming visual kei meant their sounds was going to go downhill but to me they sound exactly the same. This album was absolute top notch. Insane guitar work from Cazqui and Daichi, amazing vocals by Hiro and Natsu and Masa have their unique touch to the sound. This definitely has to be the heaviest album that is actually superb to come out this year or the last. Looking forward to their future releases and also going to wait for a top quality version of the album to show up.
  23. Augie1995

    It's good, it's a 160 rip though.
  24. Augie1995

Definitely loving this! Undertake was a good single for sure, Apocalypse completely gone off my iPod. Deadly... is sure to take me back into the world of SIGNAL!! Now, was that whole preview just of Deadly... or was that also a preview of 10F? If it's just Deadly... then that is a sick song with such different moods throughout the song. The part after the guitar solo preview definitely gave me a Crossfaith feeling for sure
