The only one I got a reply from so far is Dr. Kazami from Daizystripper and Gt. Hiroto from Alice Nine. I think I can get by with my own knowledge but this is a cool idea and I shall rely on you if I do.

Protest The Hero! Absolutely amazing post-hardcore band that doesn't feel the need to scream as much like all other bands in its genre. Rody has the best voice I have to hear, so much control in it, and the instrumentation is just so superb. The guitar work is so extreme that just trying to learn some of their songs has greatly improved my skills as a guitarist. I really recommend these guys, make them your own obsession as well, if possible.

If his voice isn't powerful, then that means ballads SHOULD suit him, not the other way around. If you fall asleep to it, then that also means his voice is good for ballads seeing as how when the voice doesn't match, the song loses touch and doesn't have the effect it wants to portray. That's the Alice Nine album format. Everyone one of their albums (aside from the year difference between GEMINI and "9") were released about 2 years apart or more. They always ended up getting good feedback for it

I keep listening to them and then deleting their cd because I'm not in the mood but that trailer makes them look like they are some big, very popular vk band.
  5. Augie1995

They changed the lyrics to NEW LEGEND? WHAT?! I just don't know if I can connect to it since Leda isn't on bass now haha
  6. While there may be people that think it SHOULD stop, this really is a pointless topic. Even if it should stop, you can't do much about it. If you just say stop, people will still do it. If you enforce a law, people will go around that law. It's a very pessimistic perception on human nature but it's true nonetheless.

I just want more A, however I can get it
  8. Augie1995

I don't know if the volume of his voice suits the song but it sounds good so far
  9. I'm pretty sure this is different members as well. I don't remember Rina or K.A.Z being there in the last one
  10. Augie1995

I was like, "Very bright, and there's a dead body in the bac-- Oh, wait. That's just Meto" At least Koichi doesn't look like a total weirdo now.

  13. I'm very surprised at how good Jupiter's album turned out to be

    1. Zeus

I enjoyed deeply RHYTHMOS, Allegory Cave, and Symmetry Cave. The 12 minute song is turning out pretty good though

All right, well, to start off: Blessing of the Future left a good impression on me and I can feel that they have already set the standard for the Jupiter sound. What I expected to get from this album: Some very standard songs that were similar to Versailles songs but had their own little twist and some very familiar Hizaki compositions. What I got: An unexpected melodic album that completely showed to me that just because it has Versailles' members, doesn't mean that it will be similar. I absolutely loved this album so much and I want to claim this as in the top 5 VK albums so far. They had songs that showed me that ZIN has some great singing talent (e.g Nostalgie, Decadance, Symmetry Breaking), songs that showed that ZIN can be an exceptional composer (e.g Decadance, Heaven's Atlas), and songs that showed that all the members still have some really amazing stuff to bring to the table. ZIN really shined here and showed me that he can be a better singer than KAMIJO was to me and that he has the potential to carry this band and not leave it all on the instrumentation. One thing I love about him that he excels at, his growls, which we can hear in ALLEGORY CAVE and that just blew me away! With the cooperation of Hizaki, maybe we can get some dark songs fro Masashi or Teru and ZIN can just bring it home with those growls! Some of the songs that stood out to me were RHYTHMOS, ALLEGORY CAVE, Scarlet, Nostalgie, Classical Element, and Symmetry Breaking. The rest of the tracks were great, but didn't excel as much as the songs mentioned. I really have to bring in to account RHYTHMOS. That song was just very melodic the same way I received LIBIDO from Versailles which was a total favorite. What stood out the most was Masashi's bass though, there were some really great melodies in this song from him and the guitars, aside from the solo, were a little laid back and the bass was more prominent than usual. I believe ZIN and Hizaki both composed this song so I am excited for more dual compositions from these two. Can I also bring into account that ending outro to Nostalgie? I haven't heard them do an outro that beautiful in a long time. I haven't been struck by an outro like that since HISTORY OF THE OTHER SIDE. Without a doubt, I can officially say that I am on the Jupiter bandwagon and cannot wait for whatever it is they decided to bring for us. Although, we probably won't be getting any new material for a while since they will probably be doing lives for their album and such. There really was nothing wrong with this album, although I'm not surprised because their single, while the title track was a little reminiscent of Versailles, still gave us some awesome stuff from Aria (very awesome glissando solo) and SHOUT YOUR DESIRE (song that got me hooked on ZIN) That's right, I just gave it that

    John Lennon? hahaha
  16. Augie1995

Well, the DIVISION spot showed all three PVs for the album (Ibitsu, Derangement, Diplosomia) with Attitude playing as BGM so who knows. We haven't gotten a tracklist yet so we don't really know if there is only one PV or if there are two. The spot could be just like it was for FADELESS, showing a 10-15 second clip with a Ruki voiceover saying the title
  17. Augie1995

According to Ruki's twitter, shooting for the spot for the album was shot today in Ibaraki. I didn't expect the SPOT so soon. For DIVISION, we got the two PV previews and then we got the spot. Same went for TOXIC. I'm guessing the editing for the Spot should be done soon and we get it by start of September

Gotta agree with the Avalon statement, definitely one of the better singles they have put out. I would love to say Sabbat but that one had the abomination that is, Akercock.
  19. Augie1995

I think that concert will be the album's livet tour start. I'm wishing for a release sometime in December-January
  20. Augie1995

Fuck, that cover looks empty! I am going to be proud to see that cover while I play their songs on my iPod Edit: Why did I say "empty?" I meant sick, badass, awesome!
  21. Augie1995

Awesome about the new serial story CD! It's a bit soon but I am hopefully expecting one of those "xxxxxxxx" announcements to be either a single or an album and another one of those I think might be a best of album (it is an anniversary thing so a best of sounds reasonable to appear)
  22. Augie1995

The new look doesn't look as flashy as their other looks. Even their look for FRONTIER was very bright, this one gives me the sensation that we might be getting some awesome track with some heavy riffs at the very least! I am well over excited
