  1. I don't have any of them to sell, but I have a tip if you haven't already tried it -- if you email Closet Child CD's contact address (English is fine) with the specific title names, they can sell them to you if they're in stock, even if they're not listed on the website. There's a hell of a lot more they carry in their stores/stock than is listed online, so that's a good way to find some of it. Naturally, they don't always have stock of really rare stuff, but I HAVE gotten some things this way that I never thought I'd find.

And they do ship overseas, and fairly cheaply at that.

  2. So Ameba has launched Ameba Gold cards at Lawson. What this means is that I can sell them to whoever wants them with a fee that's much, much less than you'd have to pay a shopping service to get AG. And I can always go pick up more.

    HOW IT WORKS

The cards are credit-card sized. They have a scratch-off spot on the back with a pin number. You put the pin into Ameba and you get that amount in gold. You don't even need the card -- unless you want me to ship it to you anyway.

    AVAILABLE AG

AG comes in the following amounts:

    1500 yen

    5000 yen

Sometimes these will convert differently into AG based on the campaign the site is running, so please check for yourself before you buy them. I can't tell you how much you'll get because I'm not keeping up with it.

    COSTS TO YOU

Base card price -- 1500 yen or 5000 yen

My fee -- 500 yen for the first 5000 yen in cards, then an extra 300 yen for each 3000.
    Example:

    1500 yen = 500 yen fee

    3000 yen = 500 yen fee

    4500 yen = 500 yen fee

    5000 yen = 500 yen fee

    6000 yen = 800 yen fee

    6500 yen = 800 yen fee

    8000 yen = 800 yen fee

    9500 yen = 1100 yen fee

    ...and so on.

Optional: Shipping, if you want it mailed to you -- 300 yen internationally (otherwise, I will just PM you the pin number for your AG)

**Payment is expected in full in advance, Paypal only. Buyer will pay the Paypal fees.

I'm super stoked that I can FINALLY have AG on my account; just living in Japan hasn't made it any easier because of credit card complications, but finally Lawson has made it possible. :)

Drop me a PM if you'd like some!

  3. Totally understandable. They're not with an office so they do a lot of shit on their own -- I think Kaede, the drummer, does most of the mixing. Their quality HAS gone up on their nationwide releases lately -- Kokkeiron is a pretty killer mini-album and I immediately noticed the difference in sound quality when I got it.

Crap quality gets on my nerves initially, but I kind of really like the kinds of bands that end up having to produce at that level (ie., poor due to not being a young hostboy fluff screamo band) so I deal. :3

  4. Yesssss!

Whenever that may be, if you'd like to meet up we could! I love meeting other fans and geeking out. And the lives are just more fun with friends / acquaintances / people you can interact with, haha.

If I missed anything or messed up any links, please let me know!

  7. I no longer list my sales directly on MH -- lately, I use Tumblr to keep up with everything. This way I can have individual entries for each item, easy searching thanks to tags, have all my rules in one place, AND have photos for everything! Whew.

    http://kushop.tumblr.com/

If you don't have a Tumblr account you're welcome to message me here for transactions.

    Tips:

    • Read the Shopping System post to make sure you understand how I do business.
    • Use the links on the sidebar to shop by category, or search for  for bands by typing their names into the search box. Please be aware that you'll only see results if you type the FULL band name.

I have way too many things and way too many bands on the blog to start listing them all here, so I just recommend browsing and searching. (Also, adding "archive") to the end of the URL up there will lay out posts in a gallery-type view so you can see more at once.)

  8. Since this seems to be the most recent thread for THE GALLO --

    http://fuckyeahgallo.tumblr.com/post/47610535022/the-gallo-4th-anniversary-project

We're putting together a small fan project through our GALLO Tumblr for fans to send their messages and art to the band for their anniversary! If you're a fan of the band, it would be awesome to see you contribute. I don't think the boys have any idea that they really do have a bunch of fans overseas!

  9. Reviving this one for another similar question:

Anyone knows Japanese websites that offer online magazine versions? Free or not doesn't really matter.

Super-late reply, but Japan isn't really with the times and the companies here don't tend to do that. At least not that I know of.

musicJapanPlus is about the only one I know that has magazine-formatted online editions, and technically they're backed by a Japanese company iirc, but I think you're out of luck on the big-name mags.

  10. Thank you for pointing this out.

I am relieved that it's not cancer and hope that Kyouka is doing well ( it seems he feels quite good again).

    (I love your signature.)

With as much bad news and doom and gloom that goes around when something like this surfaces, it's really nice to have a little ray of light. I was really relieved once I'd read it all; Kyoka is a cool dude.
