old vk band, but i came across them for the first time. i did hear of Dear Bitch before though, which some of the members formed later. didn't know that Black:List's drummer was in this band either. anyway, i've been listening to them for the past few days. the bass in this song kicks ass!

I kinda asked for this in my status already, but I thought I'd make a topic so that my request doesn't get forgotten. I can't find any of their lyrics online, except for Sephirothic Tree, so if anybody has them PLEASE SHARE! Even just the scans are okay. I'd be glad to transcribe them myself. please...i really need to know what via dolorosa is all about

I sure am going to miss them...Their constant "gothic character" was what made me grow so attracted to them, not gonna lie. I don't know what has been holding me back, but I'm gonna need to check MUNIMUNI right away now! @tetsu_sama69: Yessss, HIAI!!! Probably my most played track all year so far. I've been waiting for a good heart-wrenching ballad like this. It reminds me a bit of some of my favorites like これを依存と呼ぶなら and 剥落. @CAT5: It's my first time listening to OVUM, but they seem pretty interesting! I'm always open for some instrumental rock~ @yakihiko: Neji is quite a masterpiece indeed! My favorite after Oboreru sakana. They're both probably the best songs they've ever done so far.

Actually, I have some stuff downloaded, but I just haven't listened to them yet. xD Oh, I just meant that their other pvs are not so "serious" like typical pvs. And the one where they described it as "chantoshita" kind of seemed like they were mocking themselves for not being serious in their previous pvs. If you want to check out Hal's solo stuff some of my favorites are Black Sheep and 絶望飛行. Codomo A was good. I never really liked any of Eiji's later projects much. Metronome are also worth checking out, though I've only heard a few of their stuff.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, after thinking more about it, some older oshare kei bands lack that "headbanger" element. But anyway, I was gonna include Soroban too. Them being super young at the time can also count as kawaii. Most of the members later formed Zoro too, which is more electro and pop-sounding. I was literally hunting this down just now because I deleted the file a long time ago and forgot the song title. xD But I think it's kinda fitting. Only heard 2-3 songs from this band though, so maybe they have a few others that I missed. Hmm, kinda thought that there were more, but I guess that's all I can remember for now. (ps, I like adding vid links because I think they're convenient! ^^)

I liked HaL in Kibouya Honpo and followed him through his solo work, but I haven't checked much of MJO yet. I just know that they generally have bloopy pvs except for the one that they literally described as "chantoshita" lol.

That does change things a bit and makes it seem more interesting. But I still don't know if I will watch any of them before playing the game...just cause. I think I will check the demo now though, since I haven't yet.

Just want to give my own input on the greatness of the DK franchise too. I love the DK franchise and treasure it more than the Mario franchise. A major plus on the ost. Aquatic Ambience, DK Island Swing, and of course the main theme. I heard DK Island Swing the other week and it made me feel like playing the whole series again. I played all the DKC games before, including DKCR (but I only played that once 3-4 years ago so I don't remember it too well...) The train tracks were always one of my favorite stages! I hope I can play tropical freeze sometime soon too~

Imo anime adaptations are usually crap though. I mean look at P4. It's possible that they could mess it up and reverse the hype. But it is a mini series so they may not show everything the game has in store. It could be something like a prepper as you said.

So I've only been casually seeing news about FFXV and I had no idea that it was not released yet lol....(coming from someone who doesn't care much about new games because said person is still playing old and unplayed games). It seems rather ridiculous to release an anime series when the game is not even out yet though?? And those movies too? I just found out that Suzuki Tatsuhisa voices Noctis though so that has piqued my interest a bit. And for that reason I really wish they will allow a Japanese voice option in the game, but that is highly doubtful. The only new game I really care about is P5.

is this for more recent bands only? because i think if you look at older oshare kei bands you can find a number of these, haha. well, aicle. got mentioned and they're pretty old. one mention i have would be irokui. since they grew really poppy in sound, and some people might not know that they had a few heavier songs. sorry for low quality, the only vid i could find..
