Finally started The Executioner chapter from The Evil Within and am rather disappointed that it's played in first person view because I get motion sickness quite easily. I cannot play for more than 1-2 hours. :/ I do think it's fitting for the character being played though, but I'm still sad that I can't enjoy the experience twice as much.

if my internet connection cuts and i can't seem to find the problem with it i'd probably do whatever else i can do on the computer without internet. for example, sort through my messy files, watch all the downloaded anime i haven't gone through yet, or read manga. then maybe i'd just clean my room and sort my stuff. or play video games too. if the power cuts i'd use my laptop until the battery dies. and when that dies i'd probably draw or go outside for a bit and see what's up because in at least two cases the power went out due to a rainy storm. (a tree once collapsed on our driveway too..!) and for one of those cases the power did not come back until the next day. i was in elementary at that time so i wrote in my dorky diary and rode my bike for a while (the storm already passed by this time). if a long power outage ever happens again i think i'd just read, draw, and listen to music.

hmm interesting, will this mean that they'll take the same concept as homura? having high hopes they'll sound as good.

i used to think it was stupid how people would press the snooze button at least five times on their alarm clock before actually waking up, but shit i'm doing that now too.

i was really surprised to see avelcain's moon here haha. glad to see it got featured! moon was a great single and i can't wait for yomigaeri! honestly, i've checked nearly zero releases for february so this is great for me to see what i've been missing out! (aside from those that have not been leaked yet) anyway awesome list, i like what i'm hearing so far! and wow i really need to catch up with aie's projects because that gibiky track is lovely~ still haven't gotten around to checking deviloof either. that track is pretty killer.

well, i just heard this song and instantly thought of silent hill 2. Lycaon - dorei to kubiwa the beginning basically has a mix of these two tracks, plus with pyramid head dragging his blade for a second. Silent Hill 2 - Betrayal Silent Hill 2 - Black Fairy and since i mentioned lycaon, here's another similarity from them i noticed way back when ambrozia came out. Lycaon - kesshou hana Mushishi - yawarakai tsuno the same piano notes

i keep on telling myself to go through all these band's discographies, but instead i just find a new band to listen to .__.

deadman were amazing and i hate myself so much for listening to them late.... gotta say additional cause for sorrow is also my favorite, with 色別の亡い空虚 and 苦悩の中の耐え難い存在 following behind. i'm totally with ya on this. i love aie's mellow guitars. ;u;

can hideo nekota stop working on so many projects and just focus on fox loco phantom and the teenage kissers? although it's pretty cool that he can play guitar and sing too. his singing voice is much higher than expected. sounds better than the first song they had up.

^insomnia blues and float are also my favorite in the album! frasco is quite good too~ anyway, nice review beni! it's true that plastic tree never disappoints with albums, but i think this may have been one of their weaker ones. i personally think they could have left mime out. and thrashing pumpkin death march is probably my least favorite track because of all the autotuning. i also think kokuhaku is rather mediocre. it's a nice song, but nothing too memorable.

Nice review! 素晴らしい「教育」 is probably my favorite of the album. I hope they continue to use that kind of psychedelic guitar in their future releases. I think it fits well into their sound (reminds me somewhat of SCISSOR too). The rest of the songs were quite bland and forgettable to me, aside from 少年ワルツ and 二面相シンデレラ, which is rather unfortunate.

how can i leave last.fm after building such amazing charts? i like to feel proud of my music tastes.

Nega to Poji is personally my favorite album. Every song from it is just brilliant. Träumerei, Cell, Chandelier, Dona Dona, and Ammonite are quite good too. You really can't go wrong with their albums so I don't know if my post has helped in narrowing down where to start, haha. Chances are that you won't be disappointed wherever you start, but like beni said, it does vary among other people's tastes.
