Since AvelCain will be officially disbanding very soon I decided that I'd translate some of their lyrics. all along i thought TMGE's song drop was about drop/falling, but it's actually about the hard candy, like lemon drops for example. my life has been a lie. .....at least it still works as a clever play on words.

^Ahh I see. Will maybe consider Tetsuo sometime~ Last night I watched Tanin no Kao/The Face of Another and it was really visually appealing. I was especially impressed by all the scenes in the psychiatrist's workplace. The overall disfigured and bandaged face thing reminded me a lot of Eyes Without a Face, but it still had a different story and is perhaps more philosophical. It did not leave a huge impact on me at the end though so it was just an alright movie. Mainly a good watch for the aesthetics~ Oh, and I found out after watching that it was based on Kobo Abe's novel of the same title.

Nice to see people mention other writers/titles that I recognize, but I just haven't had the time to read through some of them yet. I'm a rather slow reader and can't read a book in one go... Recently, I read Confessions by Minato Kanae and it was quite good. I watched the film adaptation maybe 5 years ago so the story was not fresh in my head, but it eventually came back to me as I continued reading. I think the film does follow quite closely with the novel though. The only big difference I noticed while reading was that you get a better grasp of the characters thoughts and feelings in the novels as it's written in each character's perspectives. Also read Ring by Koji Suzuki and I really liked it! Much better than the American film adaptation. I watched that movie like maybe when I was still in elementary, haha. The storyline is quite different, which made it very interesting to read. Still, the series comes in three segments so I'm wondering if the movie was based on the other two parts? Or maybe they merely took the whole videotape, well, long-haired girl concept and changed the rest of the story. Anyway, I'm really excited to read Spiral next, the second part!

I have to think @CAT5 and @Phofor words of advice and encouragement, otherwise I may not have considered submitting a blurb at all, haha. @fitear1590 I have not listened to PELICAN FANCLUB's mini yet, but I can probably share the same feeling given that Kioku ni tsuite seemed alright only. Still a nice song to listen to though~ @emmnyI was never able to get into xaa-xaa because of the vocals but that track may just change my mind. I really like it! @doombox Really enjoying your picks. I've seen The Florist around before and they're not too bad. I haven't heard of THE MUSMUS before, but that track sounds quite amazing! I may look into them later. balalaika has also piqued my interest, even though I'm not familiar with The 3rd Birthday. Was able to check most of the list and there are quite a few new bands for me to listen to. Looking forward to next month~ ^^

I started Silent Hill 4 a month ago but continued playing it again today. For some reason I get headaches easily after an hour or so. Maybe it's my weakness to motion sickness again, even though there's very little play time in first person mode, which btw I almost thought I was playing a different game when the game started in first person, haha. I'm about 3 hours in and it's alright so far. Not expecting too much since I've already played the first three masterpieces.
