So Luna Sea Complete Best were all re-recordings? I thought they were just re-mastered. Hm, interesting.

I don't know about that, I think Toshi is almost as an important component as Yoshiki. He's like the band's co-founder. I agree that X Japan is hard to picture going on without him . . . even though I do see what you mean when you say his voice has significantly declined. But if Toshi were not the singer, who do you think would be a good replacement?

Hm, Lollapalooza might just be the beginning and maybe the rest will follow afterwards? We'll see. I'm no fan of Yoshiki or X Japan, but I am interested to see how this idea turns out and how they will be accepted by America. If they continue to promote themselves as a great metal band that just happens to be from Japan, I can see them gaining some serious followers in the long run. Onto the topic of Taiji: If this happens to be more than just a rumor that Taiji will join X or be a guest with them sometime, I'd much rather see him replace Heath more than Sugizo. Heath, in my eyes, doesn't really add anything to the band and I've never seen him as someone with all that much talent at bass.

Yoshiki will find a way, I'm sure. He probably could do enough through sheer big promoting and marketing to accomplish what he wants. I wouldn't be quick to underestimate what he can do.

Eh, do I have to post videos? >.> Well, I haven't gamed in FOREVER, but I if is an action game with lots of violence and stuff, I like listening to heavy metal like Anthem or Eizo Sakamoto solo with fast guitars and drums that makes my adrenaline race. If the game is more fantasy-like, I like some power metal with keyboards like Galneryus or something. No particular songs though. I usually just turn on my metal playlist on my iPod.

Loudness are pretty good - I just have one compilation thing with their old stuff on it. I wasn't ever that crazy about their new stuff. Did anyone think King of Pain was any good? And that is their official MySpace for sure? I thought their MySpace was just a fan page.

Okay, I'm not good at saying reviews because I don't know much about music terms and all that, so . . . and this is only one quick listen, so I might change my mind about it. Human-clad Monster - 4.5/5; the song kinda reminds me of "Lizard" a little bit, a nice start! Death Point - 1/5; I'll just go ahead and say it . . .this song is utter crap - crap everything! Make it stop! 13 -thirteen- 3.5/5; I love this song a little more, I like the drums in it. Though I wish the chorus kinda picked up a bit. Then it would have been super cool. . . Love is Dead - 3/5; I actually always had a little thing for this song; it would be cool to see someone make up a dance for it! Dope - 5/5; I love it a lot too; umm. . . I really like the guitars and bass in it the most. Great head-banging song. Devil's Parade - 3/5; not at all what I had expected, it is actually really annoying like Death Point! But a bit better in the music part . . . Progress - 4/5; Kinda generic D'espairsRay song, but I like it. It needs an extra "kick" though I think to be better. Final Call - 2/5; I've always hated it. Laaamest song ever written!!! >.< Falling - 3.5/5; Also slightly generic sounding, but overall decent, pretty song. I can see myself forgetting about it in the future though. Abyss - 3/5; starts off very pretty, but the chorus is a bit meh. A so-so ending. And funny thing, Blindman started playing after this and I thought it was still D'espairsRay and then I was like "Wow that's the best song they've ever written! And Hizumi sounds so much better at English, omg!!!" and then I was like "Oh yeah. . ." XD Overall, it gets a 3.5/5. Above average. I think that was about the same way I rated Redeemer my first listen. But in ways I think this is a better album than Redeemer and in some ways it is the same. I wish they had done more electronic stuff with it. That part was kind of a let down for me. But still it sounds pretty cool and I think I will still buy this CD instead of just having the Amazon stuff!

Oh, that's funny. . .I thought Amazon previews "sucked."
-
Yeah, it'd be cool to see a re-recorded s/t. . . if Ryuichi's voice can still do the screaming parts good.
-
Yup, I remember you! Hello again! ^.^

^ There have been tons of announcements and things from their website and other places that really indicate something of that nature. Maybe something more than a one-night concert. If so, I am really interested if they are going to make brand new recordings.
-
Really? Hm, I might see how I like it. What's one of their new songs I can look up?
-
I'm not really sure; I had just listened to various YouTube videos when they were first suggested to me. I'm sure they had to be from their pre-reunion days. Kinda vague, sorry. xD One of the songs I know I heard was "Darlin'."
-
^ Pfft, I'd rather be caught listening to UVERworld any day then some of the craptastic VK bands that are out there.
-
They are alright, I guess. I haven't listened to their songs in a while, but I remember I didn't really like Kyo's vocals that much.
-
I don't know about everyone here, but I know I don't like them. Reason? I just don't think they are all that interesting. To me, they are just yet another run-of-the-mill generic pop-rock band that just happened to have a song played for a super popular anime. Same with the others, really. They aren't completely bad, just really boring . . . But seriously, just because one person said that, doesn't mean you should assume the same about the rest of the board or the VK fandom. Neither does that mean you should immediatly make an entire thread about it when someone mocks your favorite band.

You should have used the trolololololololol video.

So, has anyone attempted to re-edit the Wikipedia page? :/
-
LOL, why Girugamesh? Thanks for posting this up. Very, very curious. . . It does kinda sound like someone who has a vendetta against uploaders - or, those who refuse to do so - trying to exact some sort of "revenge." Edit: lol, one of those accounts was listening to Seeles Klar Unend

Not a Gazette fan, but I still have to congratulate them.

Um, does anyone know anything about CDBanq or bought anything? The prices seemed decent, but I wanted to know if they were even reputable. I am really paranoid about getting bootlegs. . . http://www.cdbanq.com/
