Sometimes when people walk past my door (I live in a flat), I turn my music down/pause it even though it's not that loud because I don't want anyone to hear some of the stuff I listen to. Tbh, I don't think anyone who lives here even gives that much of a shite, but I still get self-conscious, especially when I'm listening to an OST or something jazzy. I love jazz, but I worry that people will judge me for that. I'm also very hesitant to tell people I like VK/J-rock, so whenever someone asks me what kind of music I listen to, I say "if I told you, you would run away" and I only tell them if they press the issue. I dunno why, but that's how I've always been.

same here ._. when i lived with my roommates  i never listened to my music, maybe only sometimes on low volume and not vk but something more "socially acceptable". being shy sucks ._.

    Gomenasai, my name is Ken-Sama.

I'm a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)

I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.

I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%

When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!

I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.

    Wish me luck in Japan!

I find people crying "I miss Hide" twice a year, having discovered him after his passing, are absolutely ridiculous. How do you miss someone whom you never knew about when he was alive?

why not? i think it's never late to give your love and respect for a talented person in whatever way you express it.

I feel like no matter how many times they change their hair, most J-rockers have kind of a trademark hairstyle. For Yo-ka (DIAURA), I guess this would be his blond hair with black streaks, but to me, his varying shades of brown hair were hotter than anything.

    Bring it back, boi

i like his definition look tho, it's kinda fresh with that new hairstyle. yo-ka always looks stunning, but it's nice to see him different somehow and in a good way

thanks for diaura appreciation post btw

What about "La'mule"?  I was never able to take it seriously... I think about a donkey xD   there's also "Anli Pollicino", sounds like a disease name..  "Cocklobin" is definitely embarrassing as previously mentioned lol ," Mongol800" is very random too,  there's "LEGO BIG MORL" wth is this name, maybe they are lego fans? xD

and "LUV'ra-Doll" I don't even know what to say about this one, just plain strange.. hehe

mongol800 sounds like some model of vacuum cleaner sold at as seen on tv in early 00s

He was taking picture with a fan but suddenly he fainted over her. They called the ambulence and the instore event had to be cancelled.

He left in the ambulance carried by the manager, unconscious and his face was kinda blue.

that sounds pretty bad, i feel concerned now ._. i saw something about pollen allergy on tanuki but there were tons of non-significant messages so i gave up soon

  7. @violetchain well i'm always a bit sceptical about rip off theories, like, there is so much music in the world, most of the things that could be invented are already invented, in terms of musical theory, not technological progress of course. also it's too hard to distinguish rip off from being inspired by smth. speaking of this particular cause, i didn't know plastic tree and the novembers had connections, but it makes rip off theory even less feasible. if two bands have similar audience, it would be stupid for one of them to plagiarize another as it would be revealed too easy, which would be a pain in the ass
