I don't follow his solo career, but what, has he gone down on the popularity scale in the VK scene in Japan?
He has a very beautiful voice and I would like to see him in a band again.

I say グリーヴァ as well. Although for me, I thought they started going downhill with 終焉; the title track is their most incredible song, but everything else sounded kinda ... average. Pretty much everything they released post-終焉 just sounded like leftovers, and some even sounded like straight-up rehashes of alkaloid. There are a few songs here and there that I like from 2014 and on, but nothing they ever did after 鬼ト影 lived up to it, which is a strange thing to say about a compilation of blatant rip-offs.
 
As for bands that haven't disbanded: NoGoD. They started a change for worse with 欠片, which I liked and still do, but they kept going with that sound, and have been going sort of up and down. 欠片 was good, 現実 was average, V was decent, Make A New World was garbage, Renovate was great the first them then average the second, proof was poop. They should either renovate their sound for real, or just call it quits.

For me it was GRIEVA.
Since I love old school Visual KeiGrieva more or less sounded like that (Dir en grey-ish) at the beginning, but around mid 2015 the band slowly began to lose that sound, it slowly began to acquire more of a poppish style at the same time that most of their songs sounded uninspired to me, just a lot of songs released in such a short period of time every year.
 
 

If Malice Mizer revived I think that would be such an awaited announcement that the band could not ignore a world tour.

I prefer the old Visual Kei, the one from the mid 90's to early 2000's when most bands ended up breaking up (around 2002).
 
In my very personal opinion this era was the best for Visual Kei because it kind of attained a more distictive sound and bands tended to be more dramatic/theatrical on stage among other reasons.
 
Today's VK bands don't appeal to me that much with a few exceptions. But most bands have that nümetal sound that makes them sound dull and all the same and if I compare them to older bands, current bands don't have much to offer that I might feel interested in listening to.
 
I actually don't care much if a band sounds "crappy". One of the things that attracted me to Visual Kei was that most bands in the 90's had that "mental insanity" sound  with those hypnotic guitars that I just cannot find in today's bands. As an example, listen to Verfe~gorl's Kindan Shoujou. That song is amazing and can be used as a reference of the 90's sound of Visual Kei. I don't find that sound today.
 
There are and have been bands that I like and have liked today, but I usually forget about them after a time.
 
It all depends on personal taste. However I wish there were more bands like the ones of the 90's and early 2000's.

Although there are songs from this band that I like I always found the band lacked an identity of its own or a style that defined them musically if I can put it that way. I only like their old stuff.

Kamijo has never had the clearest enunciation. ^^;;  It sounds like "mitasareru" (to be satisfied or filled with something) to the ear, but that doesn't make as much sense so I'm going "midasareru" like inertia said. I think imagery-wise when you combine the two it would be the scent of roses is so overpowering it drives him mad (makes him dirty/aroused...) since the whole song is about "dancing" in the darkness...
