  1. This is a very old story which it is really hard to find anywhere on the net. The story as far as I know tells ex-Pierrot Kirito sued Marylin Manson because the latter copied/plagiarised his visual style. That is all I know, but I would like to go into details regarding this story. Does anybody know anything about this?

I prefer the old Visual Kei, the one from the mid 90's to early 2000's when most bands ended up breaking up (around 2002). In my very personal opinion this era was the best for Visual Kei because it kind of attained a more distictive sound and bands tended to be more dramatic/theatrical on stage among other reasons. Today's VK bands don't appeal to me that much with a few exceptions. But most bands have that nümetal sound that makes them sound dull and all the same and if I compare them to older bands, current bands don't have much to offer that I might feel interested in listening to. I actually don't care much if a band sounds "crappy". One of the things that attracted me to Visual Kei was that most bands in the 90's had that "mental insanity" sound with those hypnotic guitars that I just cannot find in today's bands. As an example, listen to Verfe~gorl's Kindan Shoujou. That song is amazing and can be used as a reference of the 90's sound of Visual Kei. I don't find that sound today. There are and have been bands that I like and have liked today, but I usually forget about them after a time. It all depends on personal taste. However I wish there were more bands like the ones of the 90's and early 2000's.

I would like to listen to that version of Aishuu Palette.

Does anybody have any information about members of Baiser? I have read that apparently Yukari is retired from music. I tried to find him on the net during 2009 and 2010, but found nothing. Also Rei, Mizuki and Katsura.

I like this band too. Too sad they are kind of underrated. Maybe the time when they appeared wasn't the best because the old school Visual Kei was ending.
  8. I just don't like the band name at all.

Has this news been confirmed yet? So sad news anyway.

  11. I will be deeply thankful to anyone who could provide the lyrics to 哀愁ぱれっと (Aishuu Palette) by the old school Visual Kei band Gill'e cadith. You can post them in kanji. Even though I don't speak japanese I can use word text processors. Thanks in advance^^
  12. Tell me please. I don't know much about this you say.

What are the causes/rumors for this closing? The only band that I liked in this period of the label is Vior gloire. I am actually waiting for their album release. Old school Visual Kei has almost completely disappeared and this kind of bands don't seem to have many opportunities these days. Even though UCP is quite different from its past, at least the old school Visual Kei is still existant in this label.
  14. By the way, did Anmin Kigan ver released any music? Their site is still up and the song that plays is awesome.
  15. I had also come to think that picking these topics is kind of "cool" for some bands, maybe influenced by western bands doing it.
  16. Ever since I read about Kyo's complaints about God (to give it a soft name so to speak) I stopped lstening to Dir en grey. I mean one can agree or disagree, believe or not believe in God, but that doesn't give us the right to cross the line whether it be about christianity, buddhism and/or any other beliefs. So is it safe for someone so concerned about this topic to get this material by Lin? You have the right to express your honest opinion, you can't blame the artist for criticizing a god, making fun about one or whatever the case is. It is your fault if you happened to be offended, nobody forced you to listen to the song. Since he/she isn't going directly towards YOU, but just religion in general, there's nothing to be offended about. Fine if religion is to be respected, no problem, but so should the right to speak of your mind. And if your mind isn't on line with the whole god thing, then so be it. Different opinions your and mine, Not even trying to impose a personal view on this.I am just a bit concerned about what I am listening to.

  18. When bands take things from christianity and since I don't know enough japanese I don't really know what their intentions are I don't know how to react. Are they respectful towards anything christian?
  19. At first I thought it was REI ex Baiser. I was so happy I was going to read news about him since Baiser disbanded. haha..... u.u
  20. seikun

Nothing interesting visually. One of them looks like Miku, other looks like Hitsugi and so on. Typical of some bands...

Some things look more serious on the net than they really are. It is kind of common to read this kind of news when it comes to VK artists. Is it the same for western yaoung rock musicians?
  22. I really don't understand why japanese use english for access buttons on their sites and when you want to read the relevant information it is al in japanese. Japanese don't speak english at all so what is the purpose of this??
  23. seikun

Anyway, running away like this is weird. Just imagine his family and friends so worried about him all this time... u.u
  24. seikun

Wow, so many people here a so good at japanese! Should we expect a Lareine reunion? I can't believe how fast time flies. Just some years ago they were rising as a new band.
  25. seikun

Then why would he re-join the band? Was he somehow obliged to join?
