Has this band released any material before, by the way? I thought they were just starting...
  2. They look like the typical Kpop boybands that were "inspired" by Visual Kei hahahaha.

Taa has too much hair >.< He sounds quite like Kamijo in that PV o.O
  4. "Fritillaria", loved the word xD

Placebo, very creative of them to come up with that band name, very creative... I listened to the song samples. I kind of liked to third one (frustrate), but the rest are boring you'll-forget-about-them-soon songs.

I don't understand people complaining about Kamijo's voice. He doesn't have a typical voice for metal music, but he definitely has a great voice.
  7. I would like to listen to those songs.

Wow. I see Grieva is not the only band who is bringing old school Visual Kei back to life. I just love Yurikago. I love that drumming and the hypnotic guitar lines. Their clothes reminded me very much of La'Mule, specially Kon and the location brought Dué le quartz Jisatsu ganbou PV to my mind. I hope they will be successful.
  9. How about those songs? Do they keep the old school VK sound? Hahaha, I wouldn't mind a new version of Omocha no Miisha, Shiroi tsubasa, Virgin Mary and many other song by KEY PARTY bands.
  10. But certainly GRIEVA has a burden to get off them and that is that they have to prove they can make their own music not based on old Dir en grey's songs. I like GRIEVA by the way.
  11. Really? I thought it was well received the fact that they brought old school Visual Kei back to life... Anyway their real challenge will be their next release when they will have to stop mixing Dir en grey's songs and create their own song out of their own inspiration while keeping the old school Visual Kei sound.

If there are other labels then why don't they try to find support from any of them?

Kamijo is very happy because his Louis video preview had 10,000 views in 24 hours.

Thank you for posting lyrics by Eze:qul. Sora no hamon was one of my favourite obsessions back in 2008. I loved its guitar solo. Thanks again!
  15. I found out about this band a couple of minutes ago and they have an intertesting sound. I think I like it a lot.

Hmm, I don't know what to think... The background music sounds quite like Versailles and I thought he would do something more different than what Jupiter is doing now. It is too soon to state anything anyway.

Wow, I love La Féerie. I didn't know they were very popular among other Key Party bands. They had a very interesting musical style and it is a pity they didn't go further with it by releasing more material. I wonder if these videos were uploaded by a La Féerie member...

I didn't read the rules. I just thoughtit was other kind of thread. Well... GRIEVA too obviously influenced by Dir en grey. Maybe "copied" should be the word... GRIEVA - Tokage This inspired by: Dir en grey - Cage And Unknown... Despair a Lost
  20. 176biz. In my opinion they started as an interesting band, but then their music style became kind of unstable (as if they were looking for the right style suitable for them while on the process) and many of their songs just got me bored and I lost interest in the band.
  21. That's why I said this is subjective. It is all a matter of personal taste when it comes to music. As for me Alice Nine has gone downhill for years. I just don't like their pop style. Although I liked Senkou I forgot about it after a short time. I really liked Vior gloire and I still see talent there, but I listened to their album and there are just too many unnecessary songs there. Inspire in my opinion is a very good song and I would suggest they would stick to that style and got rid of any pop sound completely.
  22. I also vote Nightmare as one of those bands that started well and ended up just like another boring band. I don't listen to 99,9% of today's bands. I guess I could name them all as bands going downhill... xD Subjective thread anyway.
  23. seikun

Many sources: Punk. Metal music. Gothic. Kabuki theatre. Japanese culture in general. and a looooong etc.
  24. Somehow this is subjective. I would say that Alice Nine is another band that has been going downhill for quite some time now.
  25. Lolita23q in my opinion another band that went downhill...
