  1. The question I feel I will never get an answer for is that if in part Bou left the band because of the musical direction the band took when they turned major...

I only like their stuff until 2005. Until then their music was genuine. Once they turned major they lost their charm to me and became another tasteless music producing machine.

  2. Never heard of them but curiosity made me find their music on YT and I can't help thinking probably Kyou (Deg) was influenced by this band. The singing style, the music; it's pretty much what Kyou and his earlier bands sounded like.

    Liking the band 😊

  3. Visual Kei has nothing refreshing to offer anymore; at least to me.

Sure, today's bands play instruments better than older bands and vocalists singer better too, but there's no essence and charisma in Visual Kei anymore.

The times seem also to be over this kind of scene.

  4. The members of this band look emotionless. When you see older Visual Kei bands all members had a presence.

Musically this bands has potential but I feel their musical composition lacks some depth or versatility. And the vocal needs to widen his range, I mean he always sings in the same tone (screamy); he never seems to sing lower, whisper, etc.

  5. Most gay guys would not be sexually interested in androgynous men. I'm not attracted to VK artists sexually or romantically. I like their aesthetics for its threatrical value and its capacity to expand men's restrictive fashion choices. When VK was the thing over here not many followers were gay. Most guys were heterosexual.

  6. Except for the violin effects that sounds really good.

I was a child when Malice Mizer came around and didn't even know about Japanese music, but still listening to this makes me feel like we're having a little glimpse of Malice Mizer's early days :P

I can't buy this now, but I hope you people support the band and buy their stuff. It's refreshing having this in today's scene.

  7. It's true, indies VK bands today play better than older bands, but their music lacks that spirit older bands have which made them stand out from the rest as a scene and musical option. To me, it doesn't matter how good today's VK bands can play; they neither feel nor sound VK anymore. I prefer the old essence over the skills of today.
