    And yeah, I left the old artists threads from 2007, I figured it's no point in recreating them all.

    Anyway, saw Versailles live 2 days ago. It was pretty entertaining.

    Fangirling wasn't that bad. Sure, lots of screaming, but only inbetween songs, not during them. I also got the distinct impression that Kamijo kinda liked being groped. At least he always was searching the contact with fans, reaching out into the audience etc.

    The band really seemed to enjoy the gig, despite the almost unbearable heat inside the room (several fangirls collapsed - wether that was due to the temperature or Kamijo touching them, I don't know XD)

    I'm still at loss what Kamijo was trying to tell us (in english) inbetween songs though. :DUUR: Something about star festivals and holy grails...

    Tw.net exploded (crash, damaged files) at just the worst moment it could happen. Dai had other things to take care of and then kinda went AWOL, so he probably won't fix it, and if he does, probably won't pay for hosting any longer, so we reverted to here.... XD

    Anyway, welcome back, glad you could make it. Re-vipped you.

    The "golden boot" is for the top scorer, so the number of goals are relevant (Spain didn't score that many goals, but most of the spanish goals were scored by Villa. Germany had a lot more goals than Spain, but it was distributed over several players.)

    The "golden ball" is for the "best player" of the tournament, and goals aren't so important here, but overall performance, even a goalkeeper can get the "golden ball".

    Use this thread to ask for music recommendations. Perhaps this will reduce the redundancy of all the different recommendation threads being created.

    Feel free to ask for recommendations of any kind. TW's?MH's community here is rather diverse, so I'm sure someone here will cater to it.

    Since people will probably be asking for recommendations simultaneously, here are a few rules that will hopefully maintain order and keep confusion to a minimum.


    * DO NOT randomly post a list of bands that are completely unrelated to someone's request.
    * Refrain from any conversation beyond the topic at hand (in other words, STAY ON TOPIC AND DON'T SPAM). Irrelevant posts will be deleted as seen fit by the staff.
    * When recommending music to someone, address them by their username or quote their post
    * If you disagree with someone's recommendation, don't argue about it - recommend something of your own


    Those rules should be a given, but they're worth the mention. Anyhow, recommend away!

    Well, I didn't see the german game, because I was at the Versailles concert that evening. The event ended about the same time as the match, and my friend and I knew right away what happened, just by looking in the faces of all the people going home from fan fests, lol. Anyway, I'm not sad. They're a very young team and already performed far better than anybody here ever expected it. We'll own all of you at the next Euro and WC. B)

    The final is a close call. I'd say Spain, but the Netherlands already managed to beat Brazil, so anything can happen.
