My other recommendation for Winter 2018 that just didn't have time to review is 明日の叙景 - わたしと私だったもの released February 24, 2018 an amazing blackgaze/post-black metal masterpiece. A genre I'm not to sure many users here would be familiar with especially vk listeners. It also has a lot of traditional Japanese elements as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE.

Smh we just had this topic.

    My mind at peace:

Just post the songs here bro same thread after all. Doesn't really matter if it's in the OP or not if you like them and want people to hear them. Like @Chidid with her picks.
  5. Same but I hated him in COCKROACH although I didn't hear much. They sucked hopefully this venture pans out but I wouldn't get my hopes up. I don't expect much from a band featuring Kyotaro other than quick disbandment or %100 underground actives with near impossible to get music. At least this was the case with his last 2 bands. He's my favorite vocalist of all time btw but yeah I doubt this will be anything worth while. On the plus side at least this is a vk band again the last 2 weren't and tbh maybe that's why they did so bad, because I think Kyotaro is a purely vk vocalist. Also his name was KYO for awhile in both COCKROACH and LAST OF FATE. And it's KYO now not Kyotaro anymore. https://twitter.com/LAW_KYO
  6. @nostalgia's legendary banner is back! The first one is my signature btw

I actually like his clean singing particularly in the songs, "there is the silent bullet under the Amber sky" and "I ...am". But I'm glad you like them at least some what lol I personally think he just sounds better in Amber bullet because I like the Nagoya kei sound more and he just dropped it after Amber bullet. I just miss that sound because I like Nagoya kei so much. @AimiGen7compared them to Blast and Vulgar era DEG: And I've compared them to Merry go Round: But in your previous comment you said you loved them, Did what I pointed out about 罪状「グルトニー」(zaijou「gluttony」) make you have a change of heart?
  8. In case anyone missed the big banner at the top of the page, Recommend Tracks is Back! With a new quarterly format. @KomorebiI know you've been waiting.

  9. Mamo

So glad to see the recommend tracks make it's triumphant return! And so many good songs to choose from. Also I like the new quarterly format that way, with the larger amount of tracks we're getting we'll have plenty of time to listen to them all every 3 months.

I checked it out, A-type anyway, I didn't want to check out GOD BLESS YOU piano ver. Didn't like good bye...GODDESS much at all. And Beautiful sounded okay in parts but the electronic effects ruined it for me. Not that I mind electronic effects in a heavier band but I just thought it sounded awkward in this song. After giving 罪状「グルトニー」(zaijou「gluttony」) a few fair spins, I still couldn't really get into it. Just not my cup of tea I guess. Still only like Amber bullet but I thought it was only fair I give them one more shot since I liked Ell so much in Amber Bullet. Did you have a chance to listen to Amber bullet yet?
  11. Mamo

+1 new look is on point!
  12. Mamo

I haven't heard it, like I said only listened to their first few releases but I didn't really care for them. But I'll check out their last single just to give it a chance. Also no problem.
  13. Mamo

You should check them out although I don't care for any of Ell/L's bands s after this one. Btw The 3rd birthday actually did covers of a lot of Amber bullet's songs such as "I am ..", there are some more but I never really liked T3B so I don't know all of them. I only listened to like their first 3 releases. But I definitely recommend Amber Bullet, one of the best short lived Nagoya kei bands ever. He never has really followed that style since unfortunately. But yes if you like Ell then I think you might like this band a lot more than The 3rd birthday. Also I liked balalaika even less than this band, but I never have liked anything he's done outside of Amber Bullet so far. I wonder if he'll be in another band or if he's done this time? Because balalaika was short, even shorter then Amber bullet lol. You can find all of their stuff here and here: Note: Some of the dates are wrong or missing but I have the correct ones posted above in the OP.
  14. Mamo

Human Cry is my favorite song by them along with the others I posted in the OP I am ... and there is the silent bullet under the Amber sky.
  15. Mamo

@AimiGen7 what were your favorite songs by them?
  16. Mamo

Omfg how and why did they afford to film that terrible song into a promotional video? Also why did this crappy band actually put a release on itunes, but many other way better indie vk bands never do? I just don't get it.
  17. Mamo

I went ahead and updated the OP and I decided to attempt to revive their topic. Amber bullet still remain my favorite project of Ell(Now know as L). For anyone who has never heard of them and would like to check them out, I've also posted samples in the OP.
  18. Maybe Nogod's just giving them a shot early on kinda like Yoshiki did with dir en grey. Or maybe they're actually getting pretty popular. And yes Nogod is major signed to KING RECORDS http://www.kingrecords.co.jp/cs/artist/artist.aspx?artist=20087
  19. Mamo

Here are some good Nagoya bands mixtapes in The Introductory Artist/Band Mixtape Thread!
  20. Mamo

In some cases yes Nagoya kei bands sort of crossed over which is why I listed that tag. And DEATHGAZE is arguable I'll give you that, but the bands I mentioned sound NOTHING like MUCC and the sound you're reffing to is eroguro and it's related to Angura kei, which is what early MUCC is related to. Not Nagoya. Listen for bands that sound like aie (ex. DEADMAN, the studs, the god and death stars, etc.) particularly the bass. More detailed discussions and explanations between myself, @AimiGen7, @WhirlingBlack, and @Tokage in the chat if you'd like to read more. Modern examples would be bands such as: KEEL, gibkiy gibkiy gibkiy, emmurée, and STEREO.C.K.
  21. Mamo

Sorry maybe I misunderstood. But you said, " before it got intermingled with neo oshare" which I took to mean that you're saying current Nagoya kei bands all mix in Neo oshare. And I was listing modern Nagoya bands who don't. My bad if you meant something else.
  22. Mamo

I wouldn't say it is there are still plenty of examples of Nagoya kei without those influences, such as: KEEL, gibkiy gibkiy gibkiy, emmurée, and STEREO.C.K to name a few.
  23. Mamo

    Yes, they are.
