12012 stan in dirunolifer clothing is a nice touch, this thread gets better and better
-
does different sense come any closer to your description? diru were quite consistent in tryharding to be a heevy band, so they haven't mixed, idk, yurameki-style chorus with ASOM-style screaming, though - their diruvatives (I'm thinking sadie, vajra, partially gazette and unsraw; there might be a billion bands like signal that I missed) did that better.

fatal believer, disabled complexes. repetition of hatred. 1/3 of album sans singles, actually. 12012's guitar tuning is different for suicide, but growling/screaming parts are quite close. he's been doing growls since at least WTD (I'm listening to garbage atm, and it has both growls and singing); ummm.... clever sleazoid?

ewwww

I'm gonna update here if it gets published
-
I sort of love the extra irony in 12012 trying to bump their sales with dir en grey looks and sound, while deg popularity has been going down since all this hurdurrcore BS started. except 12012 and popularity are terms, mutually excluding

which one is worse/faster to publish, dirty gazette or dirty jrock? I'm not sure I'd dare, but I wouldn't want my precious brain baby to get lost in there
-
it's a decent glay cover album (I'm not complimenting them btw) with shitty singles and mediocre vocals. not really different from 2nd part of SEVEN from what I've heard so far. sekaiii no yami wo burrushito

that's where it gets interesting I wonder if I should submit a few skeletons of my own closette?..

gossamer from their previous (already free-will) album was pretty lulzworthy - but they had some traces of shame left at that point, so it's not a endless dirufest, and the rest of album was the same typical AISHITERU PATI RABBU LAST MANTRAIN DAYO major 12012 bullshit they've been doing since cyclone or so. anyway we all basically know that 12012 invented dir en grey with this album, so they aren't stealing anything.

Ƕ¤ⓁƔ ʃℏ℩₮, they're terrible

not that late metronome were anything remarkable. I agree that floppy sort of flopped continuously recently, but hope it was just a phase.

2012 just gets better and better. hope they'll make some decent stuff this time.

can't wait to hear

girl, Latin was invented far before 1600s and there's nothing wrong with using it seeing band that have copied diru's videos in the past suddenly come up with a diruesque title IS quite enough to assume they've seen it in MOO tracklist.

I was pleasantly surprised with angelo's direction since babel, but that album was massively dragged down by uninspired, generic singles; a few freshly-baked fillers didn't help much either. Naturally, I had few hopes for Calvary, but upon hearing, I instantly fell in love with it. First two tracks are mindblowing, and Calvary actually sounds different from any stuff Kirito and co have done before, with both pierrot and angelo. Their sound developed a lot — either two new members brought something, or they have a new producer this time, but it worked great for the band. Forbidden fruit is a tad disappointing, it's more of a typical heevy angelo track, but at the same time, it's a b-side that is massively better than any of singles they've released so far. Having the whole single on repeat for the past few hours; I haven't enjoyed any vk release since probably 2006 that much, and quite hyped for their future releases too. Any thoughts? Maiku-tan?

nonono, wrong answer. right answer: nega were inspired by vanitas of dir en grey, there's nothing wrong with taking inspiration, this is clearly not stealing they also obviously haven't been aware of stand-alone tsumi to batsu release and it's explicit hurrrhurrrhurr lyrics and besides, diru aren't even visual kei now, and they also stole raison d'etre piv from nega in 1999
-
is it smh related to Pretsy? that's the only Russian ver. of Finn that knows about VK and Dada
-
Maria Cross is vk's only hope today tbh ps: you forgot kuroyume on the joke list
-
oh god, he looks like mao of sadie @ first 15 seconds and aoi of ayabie at the rest horrific song is nothing special so far, typical oz
-
oh come on, they're making the same shit over and over for the past 3 years or so, deluge is zero percent different from their other stuff. eagerly waiting for diru shitstorm ITT
-
hope d tommy makes a decent 2002 diru album out of this
-
inb4 creative differences, disband and solo ambitions?

^ I was too lazy to open the large link and thought they ripped pocky off directly lol ok anyway, I haven't eaten any potato chips in over a year (and pringles used to be my fav brand), so kinda don't curr now

do they have a dessert kind of, with extra layer of topping? I recall the thick choco-banana was my favorite, and orange-chocolate too
