Finally playing Rise of the Tomb Raider, and it's fucking good, as expected. Tomb Raider 2013 was my GOTY, and this is equally good so far. I really love this new Lara, it's good to see a reboot being so masterfully well done like this. Highly recommended!
 
And as an interesting fact, the motion capture and face modeling is hauntingly real in this one. Really, anyone who is familiar with Grey's Anatomy Jo Wilson or Camilla Luddington's work will be creeped out by how Lara IS Camilla, with every small talking trait or how she shakes her head or squint her eyes when in an argument, stuff like this. It's like you know all those traits, but the face is different and you're kinda confused, lol. What a time we live in

Hell, I know the scene for 15+ years and I still can't see the appeal of gruesome stuff like Insanity Injection shit...

That late Nintendo crackdown was actually a way of letting us fans enjoy the game and do their job at the same time. AM2R and Pokemon Uranium are pretty well known since ages ago. Pretty sure Nintendo could have take them down earlier, and chosen not to do so. They must protect their IPs, but at least we can still find it. Sure, would be a lot better if they just find a way to work together with the dude, use his work in some way, redo according to their standads, polish it and maybe "officially" on virtual console charging for it, but that would be ask too much of old japanese corporate men...
 
And I've been playing No Man's Sky and I have to say, I can't see it holding my attention for long. Earlier it's more like an inventory management simulator than anything else. Its kinda fun to fly around in space, but planets airspace is extremely limited, your dude take like a whole year to walk a short distance, just to collect materials you cant carry, and have to drop something, and you are out of fuel, and go search for fuel, and now you are out of shields, and so goes on. I find very little incentive to keep going. This game desperately needed multiplayer, human interaction and such to make things more interesting, I believe.

Oh well...
 
1 - I kinda know what this is about, and rules are indeed rules. News section are a section of the forum as any other, so ANYONE could and should post there. While I understand that it's kinda lame for people to manipulate timestamps, use older posts or alter shit just to appear to be the first post and stuff like that, I also think that says much more about the person who did it than it affects the community as a whole. That's why we have mods, I guess. To do what's necessary, even when that means hurting the form in some way;
2 - That being said, people should absolutely NOT dismiss the service @Trombedid for the community all those years. I'm here for I don't know long, and no one will be able to match him/her in news broadcasting EVER. MH is THE frontpage of western VK on the internet, and the news section is one of the big reasons for this. Trombe work was so good and fast that it spoiled us, to be honest. THANK YOU, Trombe;
3 - Him/her/it describing itself as a band is a joke guys, c'mon;

Honestly, I am not upset about it.
In this situation, I don't think it was done on purpose or with any malice.

I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Like I said, I have been injured several times while working, most of the time its not on purpose, so I am fine with it, after all I want the fans to enjoy the live and I am the one getting in their way (although i try my best to not be as troublesome as possible) so if i get bumped, or hit while somebody is fistpumping or headbanging I apologize as its my fault not the fans.

however that is not to say that this is always the case, there have been a few times where I have been "accidentally" purposely hit or bumped.
for example there is one band, working with them is no problem, they are friendly and professional, a good band all around, and the fans are generally nice. all except one member who's fans tend to 'accidentally' bump or hit me much much more than any other fan group.

But it comes with the job

They were one of the few bands consistently releasing good songs, and one of the obvious choices of bands next to go major or something... quite a shame.

dude decided to leave xTRiPx during their more electronic-oriented era too, so I don't know if he is into this kind of sound and other band members aren't, or vice versa...
 
In any case, Shogo is the heart of this band in my opinion, and I'm pretty sure he will find his feet again soon (maybe back with Yoshito and K? one can dream...)

@doombox Thanks for your awesome mini-reviews! I'm gonna follow suit. Somehow, the news of chariots' return gave me the slip, but this is better than what I remember them sounding like. Very cool to see some of the VII-SENSE musicians return and frankly, Riku seems to be a better fit than whatever Juka was doing in that band. Your OBLIVION DUST vid didn't work though!

@beni I can definitely see myself getting into TWEEDEES--they seem to have a nice shibuya kei tinge to their music. I'm still on the fence about GOMESS, but I appreciate the cutesy unorthodox take on rap. Also, the verses of that Aikawa Nanase song are giving me strong "片手に夢を持つ少女" (KAMIJO) vibes! Do you hear it too?

@togz Unfortunately your illion track is no longer available. Great pick with THE NOVEMBERS though!  Although I much prefer their softer side, this is an awesome atmospheric track, harkening back to some of the moments on Rhapsody in beauty. Shoegrunge! Oh and on FB, they just announced that the song is released worldwide now as "Black Rainbow"

@tetsu_sama69 Insanity Injection is such an accurate band name, haha. VK will never not need Kyouka's special brand of crazy! And thanks for helping spread the word about FerrisWheeL! They (like Crishuna) seem really special!

@emmnySo glad you covered Kiryu. I haven't spent enough time with the full album yet (though, it seems better than their last one), but this is seriously one of their best songs ever. The creepiano is so good!

@CAT5Agreeing with everyone else. That Aimer track is gorgeous! Her voice works super well with TK's dramatic composition. FUJIN CLUB is pretty neat too. I can definitely see what you mean with the WUJA BIN BIN comparison.

@Zeus I'm still resisting KEEL (I really despised "fanfale" off their last mini), but I hope they're winning me over. "LEM" is my kind of track! Need to check out that single.

We hope you and others will consider submitting in the future too, to help keep our Recommended Tracks lists as well-rounded and representative of the MH community as possible! Clearly, DOF is a band I need to give another chance. It's so cool how you both (and togz) covered three different tracks--looks like I need to grab that single. The FoLLoW track is quite nice as well. I only know them from their song "Planetarium," but I appreciate MASASHI's rich vocals. Even though the lead single "Music Garden" is so NOT my thing, I'm hoping I can enjoy something from their upcoming album.
