  2. man, I don't even wanna count, but some of the songs in this album are getting their 4th release in a spam of, I don't know, 4 years...? jeez
  3. chemicalpictures

shame that is only a one day revival... miss them
  4. chemicalpictures

Man, I guess they'll never release another song on DOOM's level again, right? clusterfuck of shittiness single after single, jeeezz
  5. chemicalpictures

fear not, Galeyd 2 is coming, since the band was pretty much him...
  6. chemicalpictures

hard to please, eh? well, non-vk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrbI-GamyBI as far as VK goes, maybe you'll like Eat You Alive. try Sandy from their latest album. Or Lynch earlier works... I agree with Zess, VK is for those who likes people screaming like a pig being butchered, br00tal Nocturnal Bloodlust-esque is really uncommon.

In my opinion, this song is the natural follow-up to Ahead of the Light. The song structure, the chorus, everything points to a more mainstream, dancey sound. This is the closest to something the average western dude would listen to. If he made a collaboration with a more famous vocalist and stuck to the guitarwork, I would most certainly bet on average sucess/radio play in the west. He had his early vk phase, his distorted guitar phase, his mad skillzzz phase, his experimental phase, his raw guitar phase, and now this mainstream electronic influenced one. Each miyavi album tells us a part of his story. I guess it's pretty safe to say that this album will not please everyone. He does the music he wants to, and that's GREAT.

This is great. miyavi is a fuckin chameleon, each release he tries something new, experiment with his sound... that's a real artist, right there

This has everything I always loved from Dolly late works, which in my opinion is a vk take on the western recent dance-pop-rock trend. What makes them stand out is the always awesome guitarwork, Yuina is one of the most talented musicians on the scene today, he's composition style is really distinct... Fave tracks are EGGKNOCK, and Anemone, with Moonlight close behind. Totally recommended!

I really don't think that those few oversea fans would make that difference. What I'm trying to say is that based on their sound, their influences, sucess as a major band in Japan would be a no brainer, but that's not what happening. I want to understand what makes King Records close a major deal with a band like Neophilia and ignore bands like xTRiPx or DIV...

seriously. i'm speechless. someone gotta explain to me how the fuck they are not like over the charts in popularity right now. THIS is why I started liking japanese music in the first place, this song packs EVERYTHING. I'm calling it right now, if japanese industry is any fair, they're going major right after this album.

To sum it up: Versailles - Kamijo + random vkei vocalist = Matenrou Opera
  21. chemicalpictures

only 5 new songs definitely turns me down a bit... but it's xTRiPx, let's hope they release more frequently
  22. maaan so that's the new trend, lately? and wtf, the guy run away and leave a note on his own home? so he is missing, right? and really, people are taking their time to steal what, 10,000 yen or so? considering the size of these bands... (even so, I would go back to his home and take his stuff to sell on ebay and make up for that money, lol)
  23. chemicalpictures

yay, looking forward, their mini was really good!
  24. chemicalpictures

totally this. probably is just the vocalist with a bunch of new-in-the-scene nobodies playing for 15 or so people too drunk to remember anything...
  25. chemicalpictures

wtf, man, really unexpected. thought they were doing good... even tho L and R sucked, their previous releases were great
