    DUDES. I'm 100% positive I've heard the 0:12~0:28 riff of DIMLIM's THE SILENT SONG somewhere else but I can't remember where to save my life. Please help, I'm going insane.

      It sounds like one of those nondescript power-vk riffs that half a dozen bands lift from one another... but yeah, I can't quite put my finger on it either. xD I was thinking MEJIBRAY or maybe LUNA SEA with more distortion, but no specific song in mind.

      Recognized it as soon as you said it only because coincidentally I was listening to the riff while driving earlier today. They seem to have "plagiarized" :lol: "D.I.D.'s"   "A forlorn hope" I even marked it for ya. :wink: Nice spot @chemicalpictures I never even would have noticed if it weren't for you.

      OMG! It even almost starts at and lasts until the same moment of both songs. "D.I.D.'s" version starts at 0:14 til 0:32 and  "DIMLIM's" last from 0:12 until 0:28. The former 18 seconds and the later 16 seconds.
