Can't say I enjoyed as much as I thought I would. It's a decent album but it doesn't do anything spectacular and at times I found myself skipping tracks purely because they got boring, I didn't expect anything like Gemini but I was expecting them to at least be kinda adventurous. At times it comes off as a bland and just a standard alice nine album which I guess they were going for. I really enjoyed Gallows and Subete e but I found a lot of the solos ruined the songs, too many of them that sounded exactly the same, the solo in the arc comes in awkwardly and doesn't get any better whilst the solo hanagasumi doesn't reflect the mood of the song at all. I'll give it a 6.5/10. Not a great album but in no means bad

can't wait to hear 9mm on this! I beg that they do the whole "come on people now, smile on your brother" bit at the start
-
I suppose, it's just dissappointing :/ You find a band you think is great then realize they're lazy
-
So recently I've began noticing bands using the same structure for most of their songs, or at least their hits For instance LM.C- Intro verse bridge/heavy bit chorus verse with melodic guitar line chorus break/interlude/solo chorus Don't believe me? listen to oh my juliet, chemical king twoon, john. I could name more Fact also suffer from the same problem. My main point of this thread is, do you know any bands who use the same structure?
-
I wonder if someone is leaving, seems kinda weird that a new member would join after they recorded their latest album
-
is that the saber tiger that caused hide to change his first bands name?
-
They've mastered the signature sound and it works perfectly for them but they've done it to death. It's always chorus as the intro, verse chorus bridge verse chorus interlude chorus which is a shame because I used to be such a big fan
-
I liked it a lot more than in the blink of an eye, error is such a good song but I really can't wait for this, if theres a new album I really hope they change the song structure, they're becoming quite repetative
-
don't know the band but good to see their carrying on instead of disbanding
-
as much as I love fact their songs are beginning to use the same structure a fact of life error slip of the lip maybe it's because they're the main singles
-
Hope this sounds like just take your heart, I love that song
-
fear from the hate but no fear and loathing in las vegas?
-
Not gonna do a big review but I'd give it a 3/5 some catchy choruses, most of it to me just sounds messy with too much going on
-
Fact use the same song structure a lot, but error sounds so good!

J rock power ballads Say anything <3

One of his worst releases, the title single is ok but the other 3 songs are immensly dissapointing When I saw the track list I was expecting some really different versions, remixes I guess but to my dismay I found that they're all exactly the same just some random instrument parts at the start middle and end for around 10 seconds I wouldnt recommened this to anyone

a fair few of the underground or rare 90s vk bands people worship, don't care what if anything they did to the scene I just cant stand them Despairsray, girugamesh A lot of siam shade's stuff, but they have got some great songs Moi dix mois and malice mizer, phantasmagoria and chariots
-
The new obscure <3 shame about the chugging guitar sound
-
boring The song doesnt seem to go anywhere and I can't help but feel I've heard this before
-
it's a shame really I always get scared I'll check the news section only to find out a band I like has disbanded :L
-
tons of reasons money problems is obvious, but to some extent I believe musical difference there's so many bands playing all playing the same sound, I guess those who wanna have an original sound get in disputes with the other members
-
One of the catchiest I've heard, I just cant get the chorus out of my head I prefer the album version, but I can only find the live version on youtube am4-lrj4xBk&
-
my favourite album is neja to poji so around that era? if it helps I like the whole grungy sound they sometimes have, but the melodic melancholy sound too
-

No one's posted a review so yet so I thought I'll make a start 1.Burn the Disco Floor with Your “2-step??!! 7/10 I'd already heard this but it's been redone a lot better and everything seems to flow It's very catchy, but there's just not that much to say about it, Nice breakdown and synth lines 2.Hey Girl!! Why Not Party Like a Bitch!? 6.5/10 One of the least poppy songs, it's like american attack attack with brighter synths Not that much use of the synth in this either, but when it is used it works nicely Quite guitar and vocal based but not that much autotune 3.Stray in Chaos 7.5/10 Heard this when the video came out but it's still a great song The synths sound is always changing in this and occasionally follows the guitar but leads at points Not much that makes the song stick in your head but a 7.5 just cuz of how well the instruments work together 4.Love at First Sight 7.5/10 Very bright pop sound to this but it's immensly catchy The autotuned vocals work very well with the song and heavier parts blend in nicely Weird synth solo, it seems s bit out of the blue and the sound of it is doesnt fit 5.Take Me Out!! 5/10 I tend to skip this song because it gets boring and annoying, the song just sounds messy the screaming vocals don't help at all, they just dont fit in 6.interlude 6/10 I don't like interludes that much cuz it's really overdone with these kind of bands but it's not too bad and the piano part is quite nice 7.My Dear Lady, Will You Dance With Me Tonight? 5/10 I've never really liked this song when it was on their ep, but it's been redone and I still don't like it The nintendo sounding synth line at the start sounds doesnt really work and the whole breakdown into screamo thing just sounds bad 8.Because You Are Here 8/10 The high vocals really stand out autotuned, nice break into a piano/vocal part, don't think the vocals are autotuned here which is a nice break The parts are catchy and the synth solo is a good addition I'd definantly recommened listening to this you'll only listen to a few songs 9.Solitude X'mas 6/10 A christmas song I guess? I'm assuming from the title seeing as I can't understand the lyrics I only listened to it a few times and I tend to skip it, give it a try if you like the heavy stuff Nothing stands out to me, can't say much more 10.Beyond the End 8/10 Another great song, the whole choir sound on the synth gives it an epic touch The clean and harsh vocals share a fair bit in this and it adds a lot to the song You'll have to listen to understand really 11.Twilight 8/10 I loved this when it first came out and the quality is so much better really suits the end of the album, It starts kinda boring but it gets a lot going The build up on the synth perfects the whole thing, The whole screaming part after it seems to ruin it but I was expecting it so that could be why Overall, I'd say it's a 7.5/10, a few boring songs, some good songs and some real gems Definantly worth a listen
