This sounds a lot like PENICILLIN. I think the problem with Lycaon is that they don't realize nobody cares about their non-heavy songs. I'm always let down whenever I get to hear something new by this band and it's not heavy, because that's what they do best and that's what they should keep doing.

I don't generally follow the dramas that happen here, so I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up, though.
-
It's not bad, but the music sounds kinda incoherent and that DJ looks totes out of place there. I mean, it doesn't even look like he's a member of the band. Awkward.
-
Yeah, I meant Tsumi to Batsu. We deserve a world tour with all those old school songs too.
-
Share it with us.

They left avex in 2012 to join Timely Records (TR), but left Timely last June and now they're self-produced, which means that they aren't major anymore. Btw, they've got a new look: http://userserve-ak.last.fm/serve/_/100429099.png

They look a lot like BUCK-TICK. Nice line-up, though.
-
At least when they were on labels instead of being self-produced they released stuff which were easier to get >:
-
Bullshit ! I don't like MIYAVI and I couldn't care less about X either, but I think not making this happen is idiocy. They could be like, the most sucessful band in Japan in the history of ever with that line-up.
-
Oops, I didn't notice. It'd be better if they played the original versions of the songs instead of the remakes, though. I don't like any of the remakes except for ZAN. And I hope they really start including more songs from the VK era in their setlists in the future instead of just doing this in this tour.
-
The setlist is pretty cool, but I was expecting they'd play songs like Yokan and Garden. Guess we'll just never hear those songs live anymore, which is a pity >:
-
Yeah, I've seen that room with the couch a lot of times. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the link. I've always had the curiosity of having this kind of information regarding where bands record their stuff and all. Indeed most VK bands nowadays record their stuff at this studio, but I don't blame thhem, since they don't have much money, but yeah, it's a pain to see the same scenarios all the time. Would you happen to have more links and info about studios where VK bands do their stuff ?

I'm more interested in the encore because of the guests than in the last live of this band itself.
-
I still haven't had the chance to listen to their 1st CD but I'm excited for this too. The titles of the songs sound pretty cool and their new look is gorgeous.

It's been a loooooooong time since SID last released a heavy track. It's really nice to seem them doing heavy music again. This sounds as good as usual. Looking forward to the full thing.

This is really, really good. The 1st track is no big deal, but the 2nd is so cool, and the 3rd is so addictive... Kiyoto is by far one of coolest VK musicians right now. Everything he does is always so catchy and the quality is always amazing too and he keeps the same style no matter how many bands of different genres he gets. Too bad none of his bands lasts for a long time, though. I hope this one does, because it's really good. It made me glad to see him playing the guitar, which might mean he composes most, if not all of the songs from his bands, since I still get a touch of CELLT in all of his compositions. Maybe he should just try a solo carreer since none of his bands last for long. And I'm glad he keeps trying no matter how many times he fails.
-
Btw, I checked his OHP and he has another CD. Once again, he's only trying to make money with music he made ages ago. He simply changed the name of the "band" and is now selling what he made available for free back then.
-
This is actually a rerelease of a song released 4 years ago by Yuuki in a solo project called Avalon Project. All other tracks listed in the description of the video as being the CD tracklist were released around the same time too and distributed via interwebz for free. Shame on them, because they didn't even rerecord this shit.
-
Meh, I was expecting a live DVD.
-
What's the point of gathering a bunch of dudes that were from VK bands to form a non-VK band that sounds like geneical VK ? I don't get it. Not bad at all, but they should just get back to doing VK.
-
Sounds like LIPHLICH and looks like amber gris. Not bad, though.
-
Friendly reminder that besides "Son of a Bitch", "GANGSTA" and "FUGLY", Awake had a tour called "Welcome to SWAAAAAAAAAAG ~ Re:start~". No wonder why many people who once did don't care about VK anymore. I think it's no excuse since VK has always had ridiculous names, like, ∀ile≠de〔∑u〕, but yeah, this needs to stop.

The vocalist is looking a lot like GACKT, indeed. Loved it. This band is amazing. I really wish someone would share their DVDs.
