for 30 seconds of guitar glory skip to 3:35 although it doesn't hurt to listen to the whole thing (it's basically one long guitarsolo anyways ) EHmiYborLbM although he usually sucks at solos and the song itself is a little bit too much "inspired" by radiohead, this solo is quite nice (4:45) uTdfFRVNEx0 probably the only listenworthably few seconds on the last album, pitch-pedal and whammybar action for massive win (1:35) vyMNX9fFE8s you have to give it to them, those guitarists are some serious players, love how they put that jazzy fusion solo next to a classic rock one into a numetal song (3:15, two solos) IBwGrV9DmZo

well yeah, what i meant was that regardless of genre; synth-pop, electro, drone-metal, hard-rock, industrial or indie they always had a sort of dirty/noisy and dark analoge garage sound (call it "boris-sound" perhaps). this for the first time seems to have some "proper" (hate to use that word here but i think you know what i mean) production and a pretty clean overall appearance. don't know what to make of that just yet... (and after a few spins i quite enjoyed "new album" to be honest...)

The game seems to be called "kyokugen dasshutsu ADV zen'nin shiboudesu" ("The good Shiboudesu ADV extreme escape" or something like that #googletranslate) and guessing from the boris homepage this new quite un-boris-ish song is the themesong/opening for it VlcV_XF09qA source http://www.borisheavyrocks.com/top.html tell me if i guessed something wrong

thumbs up for filming like this, in reasonable quality, from the back of the room without disturbing anyones experience, resulting in a video that is a pleasure to watch and to listen to... OrDDAts3pT4 screw you if filming like that, smashing your crappy cellphone into bandmembers faces, blocking everyones view, getting useless videosnippets. waste of harddisk-space on your camera, and waste of food on you. please die... mcVml35V-0M

jup, seems to be a delightfull live-track. also like mega-headbutt between keyboarder and bassist at 17:35, almost knocks hiroki out

here is a full set (roundabout 35min) of crossfaith from beginning of december (opening for parkway drive in beijing, posted/linked on hiroki's twitter...) in pretty good soundquality for a bootleg. i think there are one or two new songs that i didn't know, maybe from the new release? OrDDAts3pT4 Edit: also, they seem to be a splendid live-band (:

The first performance will take place on February 12th at the Shibuya Star Lounge, followed by performance at the Nagoya APOLLO THEATER (February 17th) and the Umeda Shangri-La. track list for “LEVEL9″ below! - < Track List > 01. nice singing/voice *thumbsup* i think that pretty low type-o-negative-esque kind of singing really fits you well, perhaps try to pursue a little further in that direction there's only one thing thats bugging me with most of these covers, which is a fairly common problem. it always sounds as if you would be singing really quietly as if not to be bugging flatmates/familymember and just afterwards obviously rising the vocaltrack-volume to the preferred level. of course this is not a loud track, but i'm sure the singing would sound a lot more stable if you would sing in a live-performace-like volume. perhaps try to record some stuff when nobody else is at home/around for a while (assuming noise-disturbance is a problem here) and also force yourself to sing louder by making the playback on your monitoring a lot louder and keeping your direct-microphone-monitoring in comparison as quiet as possible, just enough to properly judge, if you're still in tune (also crank your heads up a bit, so your actual voice doesn't overpower them). i'm pretty sure this will improve the quality quite a bit. also in the mixes try more to embedd your vocaltracks into the song, it doesn't do you a favor to let them stand sort of naked above the rest of the song wow, that sounds a lot more negative than i intended it to be ^^ it's actually just a few hints that i think might improve your performance, sorry xD anyways, keep up the good work, looking forward to the next one

seconding that request to death!!! you could rip the myspace-stuff of their follow-up band knellt ( www.myspace.com/knellt ) but the quality is, well, myspace-quality. seth d. told me some time ago that they planned to release an album september/october this year, don't know what happened to that, might be just delayed. apart from that maybe the sludgy stonerdoom stuff from boris might fit your taste ("heavy rocks (2011)" and "pink" perhaps, starting tracks "aileron", "missing pieces", "blackout" and "farewell") or, if it doesn't have to be that heavy, kara ( viewtopic.php?p=152221#p152221 ) and/or 101A ( viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11936&p=175020&hilit=101A#p175020 ) could be worth a listen.
