sooo, since the "back to the future"-forum-episode swallowed up my mixtape-post from a few hours ago i'll try to recreate it once more although presumably quite a bit shorter... and this time i'll save it in a *.txt document aswell^^ the "theme" if you'd like to call it that way is more or less the name of it. i tried keeping it in the rock/metal corner to make it consistent, so i didn't include equally dark and sinister electro/house/wave-tracks

this topic is beautiful and all you people posting are beatiful i think i like you and i like you aswell very much great additions to my music-library @zess: nice, i think that LP was the first vinyl i ever bought, great stuff... --------------- Todays song/band i've just seen live yesterday and it is beyond me, why they aren't sort of the biggest band out there yet. it's frightening how good they are, they manage to combine very complex sounds, electronics, weird voices and an awesome rock flair into some extremely listenable mixture that is partyable as fuck, while maintaining a circus-like flamboyant glam live-performance enjoy this!!

today a tiny tiny band i found that makes beautiful music, some sort of postrock/shoegaze/indie/dub/psychedelicwhateverthefuckidontgivearatsass if i got my genres right... give them a try

lalala, nobody else seems to want to post but i don't give the tiniest f*ck today i once more disregard the "song" of the week premise by posting three songs, but upon closer observance you'll notice that it's actually one song just split in three to fit the CD-Song format better. and holy unicorns-testicles what a song that is!!! it's from a canadian band called "mare" which only existet for about three years (2004-2007 i think) and they only put out one minialbum, but this mini-album is simply flawless... they play sort of really moody and sludgy doom-metal with scream elements and garnish that with quite a dose of jazz and almost classical vocal music and manage to make this whole package to actually work together pretty well! if you can and have the 15minutes i highly suggest to hear the hole thing in one on good speakers/heads and loud, if not at least skip to all the three song-parts to see the great mixture of elements and to convince yourself to listen to it in its full beauty later...

wow, i know exactly nothing from that (heard of A but never bothered to listen) i think i'm up for a discovery-trip (and a polish drone/ambient band... )

this topic makes me sad... i'm a believer in logic and the capability to use ones brain. fear of the dark/ presences in the dark: evolution... dark means higher risk from attaks, means sharper senses+adrenalin, means fear, means tiny movements (imaginative movements) great impact bonus points for half-sleeping while "seeing things". yeah, thats the state of mind where one is the most rational and objective indeed. also i have to say, seems to suck being a ghost really, only lurking around dark corridors and bedrooms to scare the crap out of falling asleep / waking up people? ghosts i am dissapoint
