just for the record, i don't recall anyone from anywhere "crying the old GEMA-Song" here on MH ever, so don't act all high and mighty... we're not the youtube comments-section here...

I live in a dense neighborhood, sometimes it's fun to sit in a bar that's under a big apartment building with my buddies and look at the random network names.

vanitas aswell (first live-vid actually me thinks...) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FQ-vL2YRMo it's a pleasure to see that after roundabout 15 years of band-existance kyo is finally able to sort of hit the notes he is supposed to when singing clean! extremely stoked for the june-gig in cologne^^it'll be a blast i guess

also, MUCC - Sanbika is instrumental-wise an almost identical copy to the Eagles - Hotel California miya didn't even bother to change the key they're playing

A (Ace) - Black Butterfly took quite a lot of "inspiration" from Metallica - Enter Sandman
  6. also, this dude could possibly play the meanest metal-drums evar...

aaah, so a shinee-thread DOES exist, nice. so, vol.3 part 2 just came out (misconceptions...) any thoughts so far? i've just completed my first listen and am a bit underwhelmed, maybe it'll grow on me. like fitear it was sherlock that pretty much put them on the map for me, the stuff before kind of went by me, and also now after exploring their disco a bit, there's ony a couple of tracks that i REALLY like (dammit quasimodo is a beast of a song, even learned it on guitar , lucifer is nice too) but misconceptions part 1 then was absolute killer, brilliant songwriting and production, great single+single-video etc. so i was really pumped for part2, but i'm not to sure what to think of it right now. only tracks that made it into my memory (as of now) where the single (y so srs, but maybe only because also the MV, don't really like it...), orgel and sleepless night. it all seems a little bit like a toned down version of the first part, which is a weird order also i have to agree on that michael jackson vibe (with a healthy dose of jamiroquai aswell...), "drunk-ass-love" or sth from part one is soo jackson-y, it's brilliant , they do have some really great songwriters and producers at times...

hi there, does anyone know of a decent audio-player for mac that isn't itunes? because that nonexistence of a usable track-queue (playlist) is seriously pissing me off. on my pc i always used winamp, but the mac-version of it sucks major balls, foobar unfortunately isn't available on mac this is what it should be able to do media-libraby management, with filter options/cathegories for band/album Audio-Queue or On The Fly Playlist, no idea how to name that, before it just was always there preferrably not look like shit (some of the freeware looks like it still comes from the win95 era...) pretty slink, no fancy animations or realtime internet concertticket-lowprize bonus program and no "sound-enhancing"-effects so far i've already tried: aTunes (seems ok, but needs some fishy extra audio-player from the app-store) Winamp for Mac Clementine (looks like bubblegum and is really slow, probably because of lots of weird mumbojumbo going on in the background) Cog (designed with MSPaint) Musique Play Songbird Vox and a bunch of others that i forgot... tempted to install windows on this thing just for the use of a decent musicplayer already and a bunch of others that i forgot any help greatly appreciated^^

...cheesus, that restriction sucks major ass... and Radwimps are pretty much mandatory too and although you didn't highlight boris, if you are into their heavyrocks stuff, Church Of Misery

...splitting post because apparently only two youtube-vids allowed per post? that's pretty annoying... the Unique Star too, but a bit more "conventional" if vocals aren't an absolute must you shoud also try té

hmmnok, let's see what i might find from the top of my head, but i guess you'll be showered in quirky japanese indie by cat5 anyways coldrain sits in sort of the same corner as oneokrock, but i guess you've heard of them.. 88kasyo.. is a little bit more like the two bands you highlighted with the names i can't read, just an awesome lot quirkier/weirder

whoa thanks man! that totally made my day all of the songs are downloadable btw on soundcloud, so although they're not tagged or anything one could make one's personal "Best-of" of it i guess ^^ also a CD release (or probably free Bandcamp) is actually planned for sometime this summer, but with a Funkband of mine (think a mixture of tower of power and jamiroquai of sorts) so it's a little bit of a different cup of tea
  13. gaise! GUAISE!!!! http://www.critiques4geeks.com/2013/04/24/tv-guillermo-del-toro-to-adapt-naoki-urasawas-monster-for-hbo/ http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/guillermo-del-toro-is-hatching-a-monster-of-a-series-at-hbo/#utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter couldn't imagine any more perfect combination of storywriter, director and host-channel. If they actually gonna make this (delToro has a habit of discarding projects it seems) this is going to be epic!!!
  14. system disk failure... that's something you particularly don't want to see when a big project is due to tomorrow... fuckgoddammit
