"felony" - BORN
-
I know which one I'm buying I hate to judge just by looking at it, but the track-list doesn't look very promising.

/ SO MUCH AWESOME RELEASE! BORN AWESOME BAND, MY FAVORITE! Haha, here's my review: 鴉 - I had my speculations for this song when the PV preview was released, they were okay. The song's intro really caught me off guard, I'm more than sure BORN has never done anything like that. It's a good start though; intro follows into the average BORN build-up riff + Ryouga's scream/yell, which I have to admit sounded very good. Cue the heavy + groovy verse, backed up by KIFUMI's great bass-lines. Then the chorus plays in; it's pleasant, but it sounds very misplaced and doesn't flow that great with the song's verses. Guitar solo also wasn't that impressive at all. Overall the song is good, but minor things could have easily been fixed/replaced to make the song much better (chorus and guitar solo.) 4/5 BUZZ - The song launches off strong, but looses it's flair far too early. After the intro the song begins to sound very reminiscent... we've heard this before? Oh wait! it's "鴉" again? Both of the build-up riffs from the two songs sound nearly identical, which doesn't sound very good considering one of the songs is played after the other. Apart from that, the song really doesn't have anything going for it. It's not bad, but it's not special in any way. 3/5 white harmony - Great to hear the song has been remastered, as you can hear it much clearer now. Still a very good song, but that's about it. Not much changed, and I think that's what the only problem is. Was it really necessary to remaster a song that had already been released twice? I feel as if another song could have been chosen to take this song's place, one song that come's to mind is "Rotten cherry". Remastered, "Rotten cherry" would have fit in perfectly with the rest of the album. This doesn't necessarily mean that "white harmony" was bad, it just means that another song could have just as easily taken this spot, and done a much better job with it. 3½/5 [b.D.M] - Here we go! BORN brings in more of the genuine craziness that they've displayed before, and delivers a great song again. K plays an insane punk-rock riff, followed by Ryouga's varying vocal display, and the guitar solo was okay at best. I rarely ever enjoy songs in which the entire band chants/yells, but BORN executed it very well. Overall "[b.D.M]" is a fun song, that must be amazing live; definitely my favorite from the release. 4½/5 BLACK DEAD MUZIC - 3½/5 BLACK DEAD MUZIC > BLACK BORN MARKET > BLACK THEORY MANIA Fuck all you haters who still blab on: "BORN R'NT KAWAII-DESU NO MORE CUZ PSC COMPANY! NYA NYA ;^;" At this rate I only expect greater things from BORN; no the mini albums weren't mindbogglingly amazing, but they really were good. Looking forward to any future releases from these guys! *fingers crossed for a live DVD!*

Definitely Ken Hirai (although I see saishuu has already posted a pic of him), I think he's really handsome, and he has a sexy voice! I also think Aya Ueto is really hot. Yeah they're pretty, but they aren't hot (or at least I don't think they are.) Both of them look like 16 year old girls.

Well I like the name, but I won't like them if they sound anything like SINCREA. Don't get me wrong, SINCREA was good, but they were rather boring. Either way I'm looking forward to a release!

Hmm, no, not really.

This is exactly what I was thinking. But oh well, I might just buy this for the same reason Jonjon is buying it. Still hope it has a DVD or something extra.

I remember reading an article (in Cure) where Mao from Sadie was interviewed. The interviewer asked Mao why he writes his lyrics in both Japanese and English. Mao responds with something along these lines: "There are certain points of emotion you can only get across in Japanese, and there are others you can only convey through English." What he said made (some) sense to me, and from then on I've never again questioned why they use English in their songs. But on the other hand, they of course should study more English before they write and "pronounce" illiterate lyrics.

You make no sense at all, and you need to stop abusing those smileys on every damn post you make. There, I said it. /off topic.

I came in here thinking you were all just exaggerating. But I take that back, EROS really is bad. EROS - Oh shit this is really bad. The entire song just doesn't make any sense: crap bass intro -> swing-esque verses that didn't work -> Yuuki moaning like jail bait throughout the entire song? No thanks Lycaon. I might go back and listen to this whenever I want a really good laugh though. 1/5 PINK MILK WITH DRUGS MY DRINK. - This one is almost as bad as "EROS". The guitarists and bassist sound sloppy, and whoever the drummer is needs to put his/her drumsticks down for the rest of his/her life. That, and Yuuki needs a cock sock in his mouth, all of that "YAH YAH YAH YAH BEIIIIIBII!" was really unnecessary. 1½/5 Mary - I didn't enjoy the intro one bit, then the verses came in and it was okay... but then... some bored children (that Lycaon most likely keeps as sweatshop workers) came in with "YAYYYYYY!" which completely threw the song off balance. Bring in the breakdown, "inspired" by the GazettE's "LEECH", and call it a song. Overall it's very filler-esque, but it deserves a bit more recognition than the rest of the single. 2/5 EROS - 1½/5 They should have scrambled the letters around for the single's title to SORE, because that's how my ears felt after listening to the first two songs. I can't say I dislike Lycaon now, because it's too soon to say so. But I will say that they need to take a moment to listen to "EROS", vomit, realize how bad it was, never play it again, and then go back to composing decent music.

You forgot to ask the next "this" or "that" question. Twitter -or- Facebook?

3/10 Not at all, it just seemed apparent that you gave Evoke a bad grade, because she gave you a bad grade. So I was legitimately asking you if you were mad.

Strange, just the other day I was thinking about 12012 disbanding soon... And then this! It was pretty expected though. I enjoy their music, but I will admit that their future is very predictable, disbandment. I agree, those really seem to be their only two options now. lol No. Oh shut up. What if either Takumi or Shun decide join 12012? It was their decision to do so, therefore I really don't see why you would think that's funny or have a problem with it? Unless... you're going to come back with some: "NO! TAKUMI & SHUN R 2 KOOL FOR 12012! R.E.S. NEEDS TO GET BACK 2GETHER!!!1!" If so, then GTFO. R.E.S. is dead.

3/10; u mad?

The sample sounded like an average Nega b-side song. I'm honestly just treating this like another Nega release: not too excited, but looking forward to it.

ROFL So am I the only one who wonders how they got a bunch of (presumed) murders, rapists, and psychopaths to dance, in synchronization, to horrible music?
