kinda helps, but the fact that you still can't literally do anything except stare at your page is still a thing

My feedback: this is the shittiest shit that ever shat

Honestly, it kinda looks like some crappy combo between Spotify and Myspace at its end.

I keep finding new and horrible things....like it sounds like the journals may have been permanently deleted. There goes my huge list of new releases this year, both upcoming and what I've heard so far. If I'd had any idea, I would have at least back those up...not to mention the artists with 0 plays that were my to-listen list. D:

evilcoconut got a reaction from MaikoMizu in Disbanded Favorites/Bands That You Miss So Much
D'espairsRay hands down, like everyone else lol.
Random others I occasionally miss:
Kagerou
Deadman
the studs
DELUHI
-OZ-
EYA
Dali
LVER
I know I'll eventually miss Vivid, Moran and DuelJewel.
I could probably list way more, but honestly, I don't think of them enough to really say that I ~Miss~ them.

evilcoconut reacted to CAT5 in the GazettE new album "DOGMA" 8/2015 release
I have to agree. I highly doubt that DOGMA will showcase a new direction for the band. If anything, the differences between it and past works will be reduced to minimal nuances.
While I think most of us would appreciate the gazette trying new things, I don't think the band has ever shown any outstanding indications of being prone to stylistic or compositional wanderlust. I also don't think that musical experimentation, or straying too far from their known formulas is something that's within the scope of their brand.
With that said, I'm looking forward to hearing this one. I'd even be satisfied with a refined DIM.

evilcoconut got a reaction from FEAR in Merry - NOnsenSe MARkeT
Actually really enjoyed this album for the most part. The 9mm comparison is obvious though lol. But it's better than what they've been doing, so I ain't complaining.
Only irritants were the pointlessly noisy 自意識過剰型木偶人間 and 群青 is weak.
Hide and Seek and the title track were probably my favorites after one listen anyway.

evilcoconut reacted to Igyou_Hime in Post your "UNPOPULAR" music opinions!
Once again I came across some old Dir en Grey PV and thought I'd give them a milliont chance to prove me wrong, but no, sorry, they're one of the most overrated VK bands ever. The only really good songs that has come from that band is The Final, Increase Blue and Chain repulsion.
Same with X Japan, only like Tears and Kurenai, rest is so amazingly boring! Sometimes I almost feel like people just agree to the hype of these 2 bands because you're supposed to if you like VK O_o

evilcoconut got a reaction from Pretsy in Best new releases: March 2015
Hah, just seeing this thread now apparently.
March had a much shorter list in terms of new releases I heard. It's easy to pick my favorite album, it's the runners-up that are hard. Hands down, the new Prodigy album was my favorite. The Fat of the Land made me a fan, but then I lost track of them when they totally took forever to release another album.
The Prodigy - The Day Is My Enemy
The Day Is My Enemy
FACT - KTHEAT
<3 attack
倖田來未 - WALK OF MY LIFE
MONEY IN MY BAG
Honorable mentions to Kazuya Yoshii - Starlight and B'z - EPIC DAY. Solid albums, but I just didn't have any amazing favorites from either one.

Alright, looking forward to a new Namie album.

Going for Gangsta also just because that gets too much dislike when it's actually pretty awesome. x'D
Main reason being it's the only album I've actually listened to of theirs. xD

evilcoconut reacted to Aferni in Official Music Hate Thread
I hate Femme Fatale along with Kaya Rose and his disgusting, generic starter pack vocals.
-
evilcoconut reacted to Tokage in Official Music Hate Thread
i'm so happy to see that there was no hate at all between October 2012 and April 2015... the visuel key community is really one of the most open-minded, non-judgmental and loving ones

evilcoconut reacted to orangetarts in General KPOP Thread
I was into kpop for about 3 years and then I was really just....very over it.
All the drama and the stupid 12 year olds parading around talking about how 'Oppa' is theirs and no one elses etc.
But, for the most part I liked girl groups like Girl's Day, Fiestar, SISTAR, and so on.
after a while I got more into indie bands and k-rock.

evilcoconut got a reaction from Visutox in THE J-POP THREAD a.k.a JAYYYYPAAAWP
It's weird, I've never really wondered why there wasn't a JPop thread on this forum, but now that it's here, I wonder why we've never had one before lol.
My top Jpop acts are KAT-TUN and Koda Kumi, but I think I listen to quite a bit of it, just maybe not the super ridiculously popular acts that everyone seems to like, i.e. Arashi, Kyari, that AKsmthsmth group.
Other faves with high listens:
Yamapi
Namie
Lead
Ayu (only like older Ayu though)
KinKi Kids
Capsule
BoA (I guess she counts, she has lots of Japanese releases)
Hitomi
Mika
Tommy
ONE DRAFT
Every Little Thing
Perfume
Lecca
Yulia
FEMM
Chemistry
Sekai no Owari
Dream
Tbh, I probably listen to more Cpop artists, but I have more favorites in Jpop, if that makes sense.
