Damn I'm really surprised by how much I'm into Garo: Honoo no Kokuin... At first I thought it was gonna be a semi-average show but the more i watched the more I really started to like the series, characters, plot, setting, ect. It's now gotten to the point where every episode is just a pleasure to watch and I can't wait for the next one to come. Also the OST has really got me addicted right now while I watch the show, I can't wait for March, 11th when it finally releases.
basically I'm saying this show is definitely underrated and might even be considered a hidden gem, or at least in my eyes it is.

I don't get it either. I found it to be an above average anime in terms of art, direction, and storytelling, but the actual story wasn't so compelling. I never cared about anyone at any point.

Oh boy.... where do I begin?
Shigatsu had a great start in the first 3 eps. I love the music placements and the overall visuals. It seemed like a promising show with a generic cast of characters if executed well. Unfortunately, it doesn't bring anything new to the table. It's another case of style over substance.
The show took a nosedive for me when those bitches (Kaori & Tsubaki) forced Kousei to publicly humiliate himself. It doesn't matter if he's a piano genius, a musician needs to practice the score before performing. It's obvious Kousei isn't motivated to go back playing piano and yet these so called "friends" of his keep forcing him. That is like the worst way to develop your main protagonist. Putting music sheets literally everywhere he goes is downright borderline bullying and the show passes it off as something comedic which is completely unfunny. Speaking of that, the show is so consistent with its inconsistency of its tone. All these gags that comes outta nowhere really kills the serious moments. Kousei getting hit by something and bleeds as a result is NOT funny at all. And to add more WTF-ness to this problem, he accepts it as if it was no big deal to him. That's another problem with this show, Kousei as the main character is like a battered wife just accepting these things with no objections. The writing boggles my mind going from ass backwards scenarios to just downright emotionally manipulative. When the story pulled the slow death card on Kaori, I was facepalmed that they were pulling this cliche that's been used in so many asian dramas as a plot device to motivate the characters. I could on and on with the problems of this show but this is a brief overall thoughts so far. Reading this guy's blog helped me realize most of it. http://www.lostinanime.com/search/label/Shigatsu%20wa%20Kimi%20no%20Uso
If I were to describe Shigatsu to someone, I would say it's like Beats headphones - A mediocre product wrapped around with beautiful packaging. I understand why people love this show, but it's not working for me. It's trying really hard to get back up on its feet with the current episodes. The struggle is real in this one.

Everything about Shigatsu is done so incredibly well that I'm just in awe the whole time ._.
Can I ask what it is you don't like about it? I'm curious!

I personally don't really care about spoilers and I know most of the Soukyuu crew won't survive (in good old Soukyuu fashion) but I'm sure that better gets a spoiler tag, don't you think? -

There are in fact at least three anime's airing right now that I would rank as 9/10 or above (at this point in time), that everybody should be watching.
those are; Akatsuki no Yona, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, and Sanzoku no Musume Ronja.
I don't even mean this in a biased way, all three of these shows are just objectively good. Although all three of these are from the season before this one so... it still doesn't have anything to do with this season being "crap" as far as new shows go I thought I would throw this out there though for anyone who might have overlooked these gems.

Kaye got a reaction from relentless in Dir en grey EU Tour 2015
Wow, I've seen them 4 times since 2007, and every single time I've had to try not to end up with too many bruises from all the guys in the pit/moshes/whatever else they come up with. The first time might have been a transition between the VK fangirls and the *core fans in which I remember a VK girl staring us down so hard because we'd accidentally touched her as the guys behind us were being too rowdy, but the other times were pretty much regular gigs.
A gig where there is no movement wouldn't be a gig for me tbh.

From what I've heard, each one is gonna be single cour... but still that's at least 36 episodes right there! I agree though about being so hyped for each new episode, when watching I feel like it's 2010 again watching the first season xD every episode just feels like it's full of so much excitement and wonder and I'm very interested to see where it's all going, one of the things I love the most so far is learning about all the new characters

I am so hyped for further DRRR episodes it's not even normal. I'm still wondering whether the seasons will all be double cour instead of single, because if it's double that's a year and a half of non-stop DRRR right there. (the ending of it all is going to be so good ._. so so good ._.)

Why is it that every time there's a problem on this forum you seem to be involved in one way or another?
There's a very clear difference between stating a negative opinion and just being plain negative and you have a very difficult time distinguishing between the two. If you had just said you weren't going because you had no way to get to the venue and no one to go with, that's one thing. I doubt anyone would have jumped down your throat for it. But then you go on to insult the band in a thread full of fans hyped to go see them live, and you get mad because people react this way? That's not a surprise at all!
Nobody is saying that you are not allowed to discuss not going to the concert, but you need to learn how to communicate your thoughts in a more constructive manner. Diction matters. You sound depressed, off-putting, and holier-than-thou whenever you talk about anything and that's not a good way to start constructive conversation. There's a time and place to be polemic. There's a time and place to be polite. There's a time and place to discuss both sides of a situation. There's a time and place where you only discuss one.
Instead of blaming other people and circumstances for the situations you find yourself in, I think it's time you re-evaluate how you interact with other people. If you're always experiencing problems both on MH and IRL, the only constant is you. And this isn't advice to avoid "getting in trouble" on MH, it's just plain good life advice that I implore you to heed.
And before you play the autism card, you aren't the only person in the world that has it. You aren't even the only person on the forum that has it. Don't use your mental illness as an excuse or a crutch to worm your way out of this one.
And don't tell me that "I wouldn't understand" either. I do.

EDIT: Everyone else stay on topic. Any future off-topic posts will be removed.

You are entitled to your opinions, this is true. But we are just as entitled to think your opinion is misguided and call you out on it. -Kanye shrug- At this point I think you're just fishing for reactions but hey, whatever floats your boat. You want to keep giving people reasons to avoid you like the plague, be my guest.
I'm excited for the EU fans that plan on going. You guys better have a blasty blast! Who am I kidding tho, we all know you'll have a great time! I expect many a cell phone picture to be uploaded. Don't let me down. I'll need something to get me through until they come back to the States.

finally i have some free time and free time means rewatching anime time.
so i rewatched Baccano! today and i still enjoyed it as much as i did first time. isaak and miria are one of my favorite anime duo of all times. awesome series! the only bad thing about it is small number of episodes (only 16 T__T). anyway there are like 20+ volumes of light novel so i'm going to read all these someday.
the next's gonna be Ergo Proxy. i can hardly remember the plot of this series and i expect to get my dose of suspence out of it now P:
