Seems like Satoshi is taking part in a live in February . He's going to be the vocalist of a band consisting of 4 people called Satoshi, properly named "Satoshis". I liked that "I'm going to sing!" line. Please keep singing.

While Danny definitely improved in comparison with years ago it still feels like this. The "oh we eventually had to kick out our previous vocalist (well, he left I guess) because he was an asshole but look we got the original dude back" only goes that far. I remember loving their first release but it went just down from there imo. The new album is fine but forgettable. It's definitely not AA as I got to know them. Which reminds me, didn't Danny leave out of creative differences anyway?

Ah, Rentrer en soi and Despa. Absolutely loved Plastic Tree's Ghost as well but the top one will always be Girugamesh's selftitled. While I'd been listening to VK and bands around the genre for years I still believe that was "the one" that got me stuck more than anything. Probably also the first Japanese release I got (since Utada's Exodus album was technically not Japanese)

All I know is that Chiyu's in a music drama series based on a manga. The name escapes me for a bit. I also thought he said he was going into acting and that was his first role (as a guitarist). Edit: ah here it is, Ochinomizu Rock. Lead is Sato Ryuji. Stage Actor who recently revealed his debut music project The Brow Beat. OP theme is done by MY FIRST STORY.

I can't do anything but agree. Period is a great song and while it made me want more at the same time, I don't think they could have gone out with a better song.

It's been a long 10 years. Never even realized I've basically been (somewhat) here since near-start.

All here for the collabs with Daichi, Hidaka, and Masato. Could prove to be interesting.

I've been there for so long now that it's kind of hard not to? + I'm just really stuck on statsthingies. It's somehow too fun to see my own stats and charts change every time. Tbh, sometimes I want that weekly charts thing back, where you could see how many spots a certain artist had won/lost since the previous week.

"Only" been using this account since September 2013 no matter what the account itself says (the downgrade to new lastfm made the reset date disappear). I usually don't have my all-time top artists show so even I'm a bit surprised with some showing. But here you go! @CAT5I approve of Aimer.

Completely missed a few of these disbandments (or misplaced them in time) but Giru's will always stick To this day I'm still somewhat sad about that. Some weird emptiness I don't think any other band will ever be able to fill up. Then again, I was there since about 2007 so it's been a while.

LP was very important to my teen self getting into bandmusic. While I wasn't nearly as much into them as I used to be in their early days I have to admit this hit me more than I thought it would. Rest in peace dude, you'll be missed by a near whole generation who grow up with your voice.

I'm still bitter that Crossfaith went to a lot of dates on ES's latest European tour but not ours... How amazing that would have been. Anticipating this single tbh.

I don't have much to say other than that I've been here since pretty much the beginning so it's obviously been a while. Even though I'm not much of a poster these days and haven't ever really been, I remember a lot of random and fun conversations, and of course a whole lot of (unnecessary) ridiculous drama. But I guess MH wouldn't be what it is now if it hadn't gone through all of that. Also never thought a VK forum would end up giving me one of my closest irl friends who I've now known for a little less than 10 years as well. But hey, adventures I guess. I rolled into this place thanks to VK back then but thank you for feeding my messy interest in Japanese music of all kinds. On to a lot more years?

In comparison with the original (which I really love a lot as well) Ryo's version sounds way too vocally forced? Aimer's voice gives the haunting vibe while Ryo's just... idek.

It's just an alternate run of what would happen if Noctis would travel by himself. The Omen the king saw before sending him out on the road with his three friends. It's basically what you have to avoid happening in the game itself or something like that. Tbh, I wouldn't mind there being an option to actually play the whole game just with Noctis after you finish it a first time or something. Would be interesting.

That Omen Trailer still gives me shivers.

In my opinion you don't go to their lives for Oli's voice but for the atmosphere they create as a band with the crowd. Saw them again earlier this year and it's still pretty amazing. Especially the moments where the crowd sings along in unison. To say he's improved is ridiculous though I do have to admit that there's parts that sound really nice live. (yes, live, not playback) Tbh, I enjoy their lives way more since Sempiternal came out than before.

Somehow they never fail to deliver.

I'm guessing it's partly to bring down her sales after having been away for 8 years. Though in Utada's case I doubt it would matter anyway. People who love her and have been waiting for her return will buy the album, whether or not there's another big seller around.

They're probably waiting for a full itunes built rather than to have to update with every little single thing apple sends our way. I've had no issues with lastfm for months tbh. The only thing that messed up was my android plays but that was solely because of the app I was using to play the music. It worked perfectly with another one.

I'm pretty sure OOR is still playing what they want to play (Taka has been composing a lot) and not whatever whichever label is telling them to. The only thing I didn't like very much, and was probably done with reason, was their full English album. Part of the fun about OOR is their dual language lyrics. Taka addressed this last time I saw them live and said the next album will be Japanese again. Not sure whether it'll be released worldwide, or whether it'll get an all English version again or not, but anyway... Having been there since the second album or so I definitely know what you mean with the changing styles, but at the same time bands grow as the members grow older. They find their own way and whatever they feel like doing best. We'll just have to wait and see what the next full album will be like, but saying OOR has ever been "heavy" or "alternative" or something would be a lie. If you'd want more of that I'd say to go listen to MFS instead.

Alderamin was really the surprise of the season for me. Really liking that one tbh.

The umlaut was never anything but part of the logo. (Which also fit their second album pics which were taken in Germany near the Berlin Wall) I thought it was addressed before.

Tbh, I'm ready for the end of an era.

I think any KH fan is wishing for it. She can't not be back. That said, I just hope it's better than the two pre-released songs. At least Sakura Nagashi's on it I guess.
