Been using Last.fm since 2008, but I did a full reset back in January 2015 at about 40k scrobbles. here's my top 8 artists as well as albums.
 

 
I'm now back at 24k, but my chart numbers don't really reflect that since I listen to so many different bands and artists XD also it's funny that Diru is #1 because I almost never listen to them on purpose.... I have their entire discography and like a few dozen live audio rips, so they come up a lot when I listen to my collection on shuffle.

Rather 'oldish' pic  I ditched the Fractal Define XL and went with a Corsair 760T in white.
 

 
In this pic there are 2xGTX 970s in SLi but I ditched them last year for a single 1070. Ive also got a 512GB Samsung 850 Pro but the handle of the side panel is hiding it. Ive also added more ram so now im at 32GBs

Not really much needs doing with this PC. Would love to get a 1080Ti but I dont think it would be worth it given how much I game these days. (Damn, I wish i was unemployed again -- id spend all night and day just gaming)

Took a spooky night video of my new rig. Dual GTX 1080s in SLI, i7-5820k, 40 GB of Corsair Dominator ram (though windows is acting kinda buggy and only detecting 32), and more HDDs than is probably sane (3TB in SSDs, 8TB in mechanical) all slapped on an ASUS R5E in a Lian-Li DK-04 desk case.
 
This thing really powers the fuck out of some spreadsheets because I never have time to play games :'3

You have to ask yourself a very basic question, which console has the exclusives you want to play more? Because that's really all it boils down to, sure the XboneX will be the more powerful machine, but if it doesn't have the games you want to play then what's the point? Also another really important question is; do you have or plan on having a 4k TV? If you don't have one or plan on getting one, then I wouldn't even waste the extra money on the PS4pro or the XboneX, I'd just get a PS4slim or a XboneS. 4K is really what these consoles are made for, most if not all of the visual and graphical enhancements are going to be in the higher resolution support.

As far as I know Super Mario Odyssey will only be on the Switch, unless i missed something... Other reasons to buy one this year would be the mario + rabbids game, splatoon 2, and supposedly Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which is supposed to come out at the very end of the year according to Nintendo. I'm sure there's a few other games that will come out that will be decent, there's also a bunch of smaller indie titles being released on the eshop regularly that are fun to play in portable mode.
 
my opinion? if you want one this year, then don't wait till black Friday.... you'll most likely not be able to buy one due to the manufacturing setbacks that Nintendo have been experiencing due to component shortages, and since everybody and their momma will be trying to get one around holiday, the chance that their will be enough to go around will be quite unrealistic. However it's not that hard to find one atm as long as you don't mind calling around and keep an eye on local retailers.
 
I might. depends. the subscription will be required for online play, so if that's a thing for me around the time it goes live I will probably get it. Also there the whole free game service they will be launching with it, similar to games for gold and ps plus. Will have to see how that is received first.

I'm already familiar with Death Note and Monster from that list, both are great, specially Monster! While I do think it kinda overstay its welcome with that kid that never gets caught, it is one hell of a story!
 
One of my top 3 stories that I would LOVE to see more similar, but don't think will ever find one is Eden: It's an Endless World. You simply can't match the world, the mythos and the confusing as shit plotline it have, a MUST for anyone who likes militar/dystopian/cyberpunk stories.

That link may help you out a bit, but honestly there aren't many shows out there that captures the same vibe that ZnT does.

I'm not really used to watch animes, but was intrigued with Terror on Resonance, on netflix, and I quite liked it. The development of the characters was interesting (Lisa could have been better explored, but I understand her role as a plot device to forge a contrast with the main characters. Five role wasn't amazing either), with some interesting messages and a dialogues. Nice script overwall, and AMAZING OST!
 
Any recommendations of other similar anime, following this more realistic vein?

I'm trying to get my hands on one for my niece and nephew to play on.
I'm just ..... too fucking cheap right now lol.
 
I want to hold off until Black Friday at this point, since the games go on sale constantly here.
 
Can anyone with a Wii U tell me if the Switch is a viable upgrade? or can I wait a bit?
Breath of the Wild is available on the Wii U, and Super Mario Odyssey will be released for the Wii U in late Oct.
Those are the only games I think they would play at the moment. Maybe Splatoon.
Difference in graphics seems marginal.
 
Also, is anyone going to opt for that monthly subscription once it goes into effect?

I've been playing FFXII The Zodiac Age for a couple of weeks now and oh I'm loving it. I've played the original FFXII on PS2 some years ago and this new remastered version is pretty much everything I've ever wanted. FFXII is actually one of my favorite Final Fantasy games (yeah, judge me all you want but I genuinely find the combat system really fun, the characters well-made (well except for Penelo I still can't stand her she's so damn annoying) and the story interesting XD) and finally getting a pretty amazing-looking remaster of it has made me very happy. Though I really  need to mentally prepare myself for the fight against Yiazmat again when I get to that point (if they haven't changed it for this version and made him easier anyhow, I'm not actually sure). I remember the fight took me eight freaking hours when I played the original game on my PS2 and when I finally beat him I swore I'd never ever fight him again lol. Seriously, whoever thought it was a good idea to give Yiazmat fifty million HP deserves a kick in the butt.

I've not been around for a looooooooooooooong time and this site has changed a damn lot. I kinda stopped listening to visual Kei and Jrock and went back to listening to my usual non Japanese stuff - I say 'stopped' but i mean is I still listen but not a lot - Ive been out of the fold for a bit so I havent been following if my favorite bands have new releases or disbanded.
 
I learned a few weeks ago that ARTEMA are no more and that made me pretty sad as they were my go to band when Crossfaith went in a different direction. Now i need another band to fill that void
 
Anthem & Saber Tiger are still some of my top favorite Jrock bands of all time. I got stuck in an 80s rock/metal phase for a loooong time as well. Listened to a lot of Journey, Boston. Dio, Queensryche and Judas Priest etc etc and they delayed my return here for many months.
 
I hope to be a little more active again. As I want to start picking up Visual Kei again.
