Don't exactly know what the first bands were that attracted me to the indie scene, probably some rockbands as Jeepta (now major), The DARARS, UNDER THE COUNTER, te', OGRE YOU ASSHOLE, THE NOVEMBERS (if I may believe my first charts on Last.fm that track back to early 2009... I think I started listening to it since early 2008 or something, and since the summer of 2009 it was about all I was listening to As I said before it started with indie rock, which then would go to post-rock, shoegaze, electronic rock, to mostly folk and alternative pop at the moment. The bands that influenced me the most in this would be the following inspire:tion Really awesome electronic shoegaze band that started about 10 years ago, went on an hiatus to be back in 2010, and how. I've posted their disco on here a few months back when their latest mini arrived, so you all should check them out... Al4F-T-tYb8 (from their latest mini) THEラブ人間 (THE LOVE NINGEN) A fairly new pop-folk band with only 2 demo-tapes and a split-tape released so far. They got a new single out this week. Off this all, I only got their latest two releases (their 2nd demo and the split-tape) with the single in pre-order. Again, really awesome band. kdBI1DF-2Po (from their upcoming single) ???れ? (hekireki) A band I come back to from time to time. Relaxing electronic shoegaze, although they have trips to other genres from time to time. They have a pretty big backlog already, that all are really great, but didn't get much attention. UPKLs7H_KDU ACRYLICSTAB One of the first indie bands I really fell in love band. I also have mail contact with them from time to time. Sweet pop-rock duo that are kinda quiet right now... TgF0mmLcPiM better than the studio recording imo pezite CAT5 shared with me this release, and I loved it so much I just had to buy it. Pretty cool jazzy pop with a good vocalist that just released her solo-debut, which was more relying on electronic stuff. According to their bass-player, they are working on a new album which will come out later this year. x-ca7rMlUIs only song of them I can find online... And then some of my favs that don't really need an introduction, or don't feel like typing about at the moment me-al art BYEE the ROUND テノヒラ (tenohira) ??ら?ドア (HE LUCK DOOR) ウラニーノ (uranino) SEBASTIAN X ジギタリス (digitalis) merpeoples The DARARS N'夙??ボーイズ (N'Shukugawaboys) ROTH BART BARON Maria Hato / mmm 王舟 (oh shu) 385 and I could go on forever xD

Haven't listened to any of their albums to be honest, but I'm quite fond of them... Have seen them live twice already one of my fav songs by them is Moving to New York lv773plAGuM

hmmz, bad experiences... had two of them during Lowlands 2008 (iirc) First was Anouk (A well-known rockartist in the Netherlands). She also won best live awards several times in her carreer, but the show she did back then was really abominable... And there was The Frattellis. Not that I expected that much from them, but when you have a song as you would think they would know how to entertain the audience with a show or something... Instead the stood stiff the whole time...

Heard Judas for the first time today... Hopefully it also was the last time for me (and here I thought Born This Way was a bad single) It sucks that she actually can sing and perform as an accoustic singer, but when electronics kick in it really is BAAAAAAD and win: fUxXKfQkswE

Loved the 21 album, never really listened to 19 though, but I also loved the singles from that release

Also just found out So wanna be there actually, hope I can get that day off

There's not really a way of doing it wrong actually xD. I did like mine cause it doesn't seem as a loop, but it actually is pretty hard to make a loop when using multiple blocks on a single line

mmmz, there has been some good stuff released so far... Most noteworth releases I listened to this year so far are the latest by inspire:tion (but that's just because I luv them) THE JUNEJULYAUGUST debut album. Came across them by accident, but loved them from the first minute on the new Zutans album, which is a really nice pianopop album Debut release by THE SHALLOWS. Taken a liking to garage since early last year, and this is one of my new discoveries And though it's only released last wednesday, I really love the new album by The DARARS. And now I would almost forget the latest album by folk enough. Their song bach is just 10 minutes of joy .o. But the last month I haven't listened to much new Japanese music. Got a new batch getting shipped to me, and I am curious about some of them, like the first album by the cabs, naomi-poco's solo-debut, and maria hato's debut release

Aha, naam komt me bekend voor though, weet zo niet van waar... anyway, welcome to the club... and if we're recommending (I'm one of the few non-VK indie heads on this forum), I would go with some of the following (I tried to be so versatile as I could, and that are more common... Could've recommended you real underground bands, but then it would probably stay with that one youtube clip xD): The DARARS -> THE NOVEMBERS -> 八?八ヶ所巡礼 -> 0.8秒????撃。 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9UrspUaWJM andymori -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmH_Mv1Vdag 9mm parabellum bullet -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epzb-uI4YN8 凛??????時雨 -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQHM2dTQX8E Lillies and Remains -> MOLICE -> just tell me what bands you liked of those, and I can recommend you a shitload of others
