I wonder if Hizaki and Teru are hard to work with? That could be a possible reason why they decided to not get another 2 permanent members. I mean, didn't Sulfuric Acid break up because Hizaki and Tomozo couldn't get along? Or maybe they want to focus on Versailles coming back so this is more of a side dual-solo-project thing now and it doesn't make any sense to invest more into it.

It's been almost a year and they only have 2 songs out, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was tired of being in a band going no where.

Just finished watching Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. It had a rough start but I was really into it by the end. I kind of wish the mobile suits are a bit more distinct and that they emphasized that machinery more than they did the inter-character drama, but I suppose it served it's purpose because I was upset whenever a main character died (which, like the old series, happens a lot). I need to finish watching Gundam Unicorn as well. Don't even remember where I left off with that one :/ Also watching Digimon-Tri whenever those get released. I'm enjoying it so far, but I really miss the 90's camp that they seriously gutted from this adaptation. Why don't they emote their attacks? Where are the awful puns? Why are Tai and Matt always fighting still???? At least they kept with tradition and made sure Leomon died.

So, about point 1: it could be they found the second group is more aligned with their interests, is doing much better, or maybe has a live performance schedule that fits their lifestyle better (maybe they can't really be on tour very often for family reasons?). It seems like the visual-kei scene, at least, is a group of people where everyone basically knows everyone else so it might not be too difficult to find another group of 3 or 4 guys who want to play bad music for teenagers together. For point 2, a lot of these cases are due to label restrictions or blatant member disagreements. La:Sadie's -> Dir en grey / Sinceria -> Fest Vanquer / Valluna -> Diaura / Lagna -> DESCRIBE -> GARDEN / Call Me -> Pentagon, etc Sometimes it is for rebranding, other times they can't continue making music unless they become a "different band." I'm not sure how it works for -AINS- though, because they seem to take bands and have a total rebranding / image / concept / sound change clause in their contracts.

I'm kinda excited for Starfox 0. I really loved the N64 game, but only rented it instead of owned it. It looks like it's the same game with a bunch of new stuff in it, so one day I'll get around to picking it up.
