  1. I was under the impression that he writes the overwhelming majority of it, if not all. I thought the new single was alright: it was pretty much what I expect from UnsraW. I don't see why people expect them to completely revolutionize the way they look at music with every release; that just sets yourself up for disappointment. Both songs sounded like everything on Spiral Circle, so I was content with more of the same.

  2. Nu-metal isn't really my cup of tea, so I'd probably only listen to it in small doses every so often.

Nu metal? You mean groove metal. This is more comparable to Pantera than Korn. But it's really trying to be like Slipknot, who pretty much was a groove thrash band.

I'm yet to see a jrock band play true nu metal, apart from parts of Dir en grey's VULGAR.

Groove Metal's name is so misleading D: . When I read it I think of Celldweller's cover of "tragedy," but I know it's supposed to describe things like Lamb of God (according to Last.fm).

I jumped on the "lumping everything sort of heavy vk into nu-metal" bandwagon, not to be offensive but because they're too many damn subgenres.

  3. Someone needs to tell their webdesigner to embed the MP3's into their webpage. New tab with nothing on it = bad.

So far I liked Tsuki toumi, Taiko, Desert Warrior (I'M ALADDIN), Black Swan, Der Kongigong or whatever it's called, Silver Acorn Bullet, and Underground Road. I'll have to hear the whole album though to make a judgment.

Also, interesting how the embedded mp3 is spelled "Dessert Warrior." Fighting footons fa la la la la la la.

  4. I don't think Sherow would close...but if it did, it wouldn't really make a difference since Matenrou and Versailles graduated, Metis Gretel, Dollis Mary, and whatstheirface disbanded, Juka changed his identity, and Hizaki Grace Project is dormant. I think Kamijo will keep it around like Mana did to his label while Malice Mizer was major.

  5. I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but I liked what I heard so far. However, I'm not orgasming over it just because Deathgaze released it. Nu-metal isn't really my cup of tea, so I'd probably only listen to it in small doses every so often.

  6. I know Art Cube is moving onto a new label and apparently there are two interesting changes for them once it happens:

1- The label is owned by the Megura Maykan or whatever it's called's owner.

2- They'd be the only band on the label.

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=23907107428 There's an interview with Black:List about that label on Nov 18, 2008.

I don't know what's happening to Byakura and whoever else is on that label though : /

  7. I've gotten flagged by Kiwamu for two Lulzmelt videos, as well a by RedList for a VII-Sense picture video. If I get flagged again I have to make a new account  .

Surprisingly enough, the videos I have from UNDER CODE weren't touched, nor was D'espairsRay and even Suicide Ali (you'd think KiwaKiwa would be all over that before Luzmelt).

  8. That probably means it'll be in Texas and in California. :( Watch, it'll be in NYC while I'm 8 hours away (but still in the same state). I'd like a new album from them, just so long it isn't the 5 songs from their last singles, a remake of their most popular song, and then 4 new songs (one of which is an instrumental intro).

  9. When was Synside a UCP flagship? Their current flagships are Megaromania, Nega, and anything Kisaki's in.

By the way, Kisaki has nothing to do with them breaking up if they can't get along. I wasn't really a fan of them because I didn't like their vocalist, but their music was decent quasi-metal-core. I'm a bit surprised at this since they only released 2 things, but it can't be helped.

  10. For a while, both vocalists sounded exactly the same to me since they both sing like they have marbles in their mouth and growl. I personally prefer lynch.'s music better because it's more melodic, but deathgaze has good songs as well.

Sorry for not having an extremely polar opinion and taking the middle ground. I know that's not in fashion here :
