people that are still bitter about their diru covers Plenty of vkei bands put out albums in a year or less, a lot of which are well liked. Luna Sea did it, Penicillin did it, Dir en Grey did it, Kuroyume did it, Baiser as well.

Was it in poor taste to name this release 'nude?'
  3. Ohh, okay then. Do you use the flat rape ...erm rate shipping boxes within the US? If not, I'll edit my order and pick the two day shipping.
  4. It seems to default to asking you about bulk shipping? Is there only 2 day and next day shipping for multiple items? Regular poor people shipping would have been fine :<
  5. Fuck there's a reason I've been avoiding this. Welp, I just bought 5 things!

  7. Is 'apocalyptic folk' a real genre or is that in the same realm as like 'swamp metal?'

a.k.a "folk that doesn't sound folky at all with vocalists that try to hide the fact that they can't sing at all by just using plain speech in different tone heights"

Apocalyptic folk is not really a genre. It was all a misunderstanding in an interview with C93, but have been used about bands heavily influenced by C93's "Thunder Perfect Mind". Not many bands call themself apocalyptic folk today, but Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio is a band that does. As a genre it's basically the same as Immortal calling their music "holocaust metal" in the 90's. Apocalytic folk is just neofolk for most part.

This is an amazing song by Ord...

I'm the worst at origami. I made a penguin for my mom once and her first reaction was "wow, what is it?" |D It seems like a cool party trick, but I'm not good enough with angles to pull it off.

This honestly isn't -that- bad in terms of no budget vkei...aside from the "moshiru sareteeeeee [[gradually gets more and more out of tune here]]" part. It sounded like something Rumina would have done

Weren't UnDead+Seraph all women as well? HeRE:NE is all female too, as is Mary's Blood and Arune (although the last two weren't very good at all...). There's also Decola Hopping with a female singer, Gagaaling, Dark Schneider / Whatever they're called now has a female drummer (and used to have a female guitarist too), and Matenrou Opera had a female keyboardist. Oh,and 水樂 has a female singer as well. Do Velvet Eden's dancers count?

I haven't really followed them lately, but it looks like they've released some more songs since their remake of Yurikago? The last CD I remember reading about was the one they made for Taiwan.

One of their older pictures came up on the net in pretty decent quality. One of the things that I find most interesting about this band is that we really don't know what they looked like when aside from their mini album.
  18. Ah, I see. I slightly misunderstood then.
  19. girl what They kept him somehow associated in all of the art thereafter, had a huge tear-jerker collection memoirs from people in the scene writing about how they first met him (Riku, Kisaki, Asagi, all of Matenrou Opera, etc), and they didn't make a spectacle of his funeral because his family asked them not to. You don't need memorial concerts / tribute albums every 2 months like hide, or release ghost written cds like Daisuke / whatshisface from Kaggra, / Tupac to have been properly remembered. Had they ~actually~ had done that, I can't help but feel like the mentality would should from "they didn't do anything!!!" to "OmfG VerSaillE$$$$ just wants dem MoNeYzz fak dem' Anyway, echoing Tokage. If your fans are dicks, I'll probably think you're a dick too even if you're not. This happens a lot in pop music: it seems like the whole point of the industry is to now post everywhere and say how much your favorites have been slain / are flops / can't sell CDs and how my favorites are iconic / the best / [[try to work 'god' into their name somehow here]] . It's annoying as fuck and there's literally no point to it because barely any pop stars are more than just a figure head or a marketing image when they get to the point where people dedicate their lives to do acting like this. It's not just Gaga fans, but I suppose they've started it. 'LOOOOL THEY ONLY SOLD 500,000 cOPiES WaT A FLOP' when in vkei you're successful if you actually sell 5 copies. Does the vkkk count as a rabid fanbase? That mostly refers to bands that haven't been around for like 15 years and had about 6 fans while active, but regardless they overtly dislike me However, that doesn't turn me off from crappy no-name bands so much as serves as an extra layer of entertainment for me.

is it still shade if you throw it at yourself? Maybe this will be a good replacement for UCP, although it seems like most of their ex-bandmen have started working in other cities.
  22. Peace Heavy mk II

Was this taken from somewhere? After listening to another one of their songs, I'm really surprised a relatively no-name 90s vkei band wrote songs with as complex a structure as they did.
  23. I think I kind of like Dali now idk idk idk

"Traumerei" sounds like what Kamijo's "Grazioso" was trying to be and doing it much better :x
