Loving the grandma look!! It's like Horizont's Tatsurou got many years older... the glasses have also changed! :0

Jokes aside, I have no idea what to expect from this album. I haven't been following them for some time now, though "Kowareta Piano to Living Dead" had me pleasantly surprised. MUCC is that band who would let me down a few times but I'll always keep one eye on them, I guess.

Also, the release date is just a few days before my birthday! Hoping this can be a birthday present...

lord, this is their 15th album?!

I'm trying to understand when exactly this happened but cannot compute

  2. oooh i saw that on twitter earlier today! I still haven't listened to all of this older albums and absolutely nothing from the HACHI era. I mean, idk....I'm still a little skeptical when it comes to vocaloid >_> (it's also called "blind prejudice"). Anyway, sounds interesting! LOSER was the first song I listened by him, I just accidently stumbled upon it on youtube and it was nice. Honestly, it just skipped to the next video automatically and I wasn't even in the mood for new music then, but I couldn't stop watching the video lol.

that title though... haha yes, this is how you stop bootleg piracy. try googling it now!!

I attended two of the shows on this old school tour in osaka and posted them on Facebook. Decides I might just as well repost them here:

    Day 1:

    "

I just attended the best show of my life, and it was a MUCC live.

The best way I can describe it is as if I went back in a time machine to 2001 and attended one of their oneman lives. They performed only old songs, including tracks so old several fans noticably did not recognize then, like Kranke (my favorite song!) and Koibito. The entire live felt dangerous and rough, just like one of those 90s lives where the audience are headbanging their necks off and the band is taunting them further into a frenzy. Before VK became a polished business.

It was super intense, during some songs the entire audience was moshing and thanks to the intense mosh I ended up in the second row in front of tatsurou during the second half of the live, where I ended up catching him as he stage dived during Orugooru. At the end, when they played Kurutta Kajitsu, we were even ordered to perform a wall of death and delivered it splendidly.

    https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/mucc/2017/esaka-muse-osaka-japan-2be5b0e2.html

Tomorrow is Homura Uta day... can't wait. Dir en grey, take note. This is how you do nostalgia shows."

    Day 2:

    "

So... MUCC day 2 was every bit as good as day 1. Homura Uta day, so practically the whole album was performed, along with some songs from Antique and Tsuuzetsu.

Especially the performance of Kimi ni Sachi Are and Kurayami ni Saku Hana stood out as soulcrushingly beautiful, and tracks like Kokuen made the whole audience mosh yet again while Tatsurou kept jumping into the front rows to make us work harder.

Before OYOGE! TAIYAKI-KUN Tatsurou addressed me directly, asking if I knew the lyrics (since I was seemingly the only foreigner at least in the front of the venue). I made an OK sign and he looked surprised and happy and made some comment about it, and then we all sang it together, the entire venue.

During the wall of death during Kurutta Kajitsu today, he jumped into the audience and participated for a bit before being rescued back onto the stage.

To be honest, unless MUCC makes further nostalgia tours, I might not attend any more of their lives in the future. Nothing can top this tour no matter how hard they try. Sure, I'd like to see a Zekuu and Kuchiki no Tou tour as well, but until that happens I might just lay off their lives in the future.

    Todays Setlist:

    HOMURA UTA (intro)
    ZETSUBOU
    SHIAWASE NO SHUUCHAKU
    KOKUEN
    YAKEATO
    KARE GA SHINDA HI
    KIMI NI SACHI ARE
    MAMA
    SHIGATSU NO RENGESOU
BOKU GA HONTOU NO BOKU NI TAEKIREZU TSUKUTTA HONTOU NO BOKU
    KURAYAMI NI SAKU HANA
    USO DE YUGAMU SHINZOU
    KAERANU HITO
    KOKONOKA
    OYOGE! TAIYAKI-KUN
    SUISOU
    MAE E
    SUIMIN

    Encore:
    YUME NO MACHI
    SHOUFU
    DAIKIRAI
    KURUTTA KAJITSU (WARAI)"

Hope someone here finds it interesting to read!

I'm late but I love the fact they played Yume no Machi on encore!! I love it when bands don't take themselves too seriously, I'm glad MUCC can still do this sort of thing. I dream of going on one of those nostalgia lives too, they all sound pretty amazing! Also Oyoge! Tayaki-kun!! <3

It kind of bothers me how we still don't have much info about the tribute album since that's the one I'm more hyped about! I love tribute albums and the artists participating make me even more interested! ...But I wish I knew what each of them they'll be coveringgg. I'm just so curious, it's killing me D:

It was about time anyway. They always took part in other tribute albums so it's good when they're the ones being covered for a change!

    ^ THIS.

Before clicking the topic's title I was still unsure of what album could clearly define this, but it became clear once I saw that. I remember how I was crazy about that album when I got here and everyone  else seemed crazy about it too lol. It made me happy. But this was not the only one that reminds me of old TW, I remember how hyped I was about girugamesh's MUSIC too and even how the whole forum went crazy when Dir en grey released OUROBOROS, both were around the same time iirc. I especially remember I could hear Satoshi singing "Playstation NOW!" and "FOR OUROBOROS!" in Asking why... lol. I think that was the time I was most active around here.

I'm listening to it now and so far I really like what I hear! : D

But that's really sudden, especially when you're late on your mixtape review...oops. haha

Still, I gotta listen to this before they take it off soundcloud, and I'm thinking it'll be soon. Idk, I remember some other japanese band did that last year and I remember listening to the album on youtube, but I can't remember who it was........They only left it there for 24 hours, so I'm wondering if this will be the same. If anyone remembers, please let me know?  Nevermind, I just remembered: It was Ivy to Fraudulent Game's  1st mini-album.

Jokes apart, I do hope it'll become true this time! I don't consider myself a X fan, but I do respect them as a band and some of the new songs are pretty good! Also it feels like we've been waiting for the longest time...

I was surprised when doe mentioned it too lolol I thought I didn't remember most people but it's also because I can't keep up with nickname changes... I couldn't keep up then, can't now. XD

I was always Hakoniwa, though people used to call me Hako back then when I was...actually active lol.

But I had many avatars and signatures... I don't remember most of them, but my Photobucket is still active and IT remembers some. The ones I remember having used here are:

    Fond af memories:

downloads and rarez drama, Kiwamu hate, crappy indies vk thread, the mh Chat, chatting on msn messenger, chatting on soulseek lol, Jake's changing favorite bands every week, Dai/toasted waffles/the big change, being a mod and the staff dramaz (our pokemanz and mod colors too), yellow names, Fakkin' A, that dude mitsu (I think) who would randomly curse in the chat and had that terrible vk fanfiction and lyrics site, "generic" ,  Jake's feud with that dude that ended somehow with Cat5 and others infiltrating our ranks and then liking it here, lady revania drama, last.fm mass chart suicides and tagging dramaz, spinning on turntable.fm, when we first got emoticons and the subsequent abuse of said emoticons , demonandroid and all crappy vs. high quality rips dramaz, credit dramaz, IAMWILL, banning dramaz... okay lots of drama but ya'll get the point.

    Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh you're here!!!!!

Gosh, reading your post was like traveling back in time lol I couldn't remember a lot of the things you mentioned!! We've had a lot of chats, huh XD And that's right, I remember I used to lurk around Tonberry for a long time and when I had decided to start participating for real, it was over haha. Aaand then TW came up on invisionfree, right? (everyone used invisionfree those days lol)

I've been here for a long time and it's weird how things/people changed but it's still a nice place to be. Back then, even though I registered to the forum, it took me a long time to stop lurking and start participating for real, and it's basically the same as it's happening now since I came back and still feel kind of lost lol. So many people left and so many new people came! Some of those you mentioned, for example. Man. It's been too long... and there was always a lot of drama hahahahaha it makes me wonder where everyone is! These days I don't keep in touch with most people from then and it's really a shame. Well, mostly. XD

But I'm really glad I could enjoy the forum then and still can now. So thank you for all! And most of all, thank you for still being here - I know very well how hard it is to keep a forum, especially nowadays, and I can't imagine how harder it is for such a large, English-language forum, with people from literally all places on Earth. So seriously, CONGRATULATIONS. It's been awesome!

Btw, doe, do you know about Nekkou? I was wondering about her the other day and no one I asked seemed to remember who she was, but I'm sure you do. XD

  9. About Suiyoubi's Ikkyu-san... I've been hearing a lot about that song lately and even though I hadn't listened to it yet (not before now), I was always asking myself if this song's title has anything to do with tricot's vocalist Ikkyu Nakajima... Just because I don't know anyone else with that name and well, they're both famous so maybe? lol idk maybe trying to understand the lyrics would help XD

...maybe it just means "193" õ_õ

    nice song anyway!

  10. I actually think Cassis and Reila are a must for a *ballads* album... I'd find it weird if they weren't there. They may be "overrated" and all, but they were huge hits back then. I gotta say I'm not a huge fan of their ballads like...Guren, but I'm glad to find some I like on that list, like D.L.N.! I'm curious about the re-recorded versions anyway, so I might grab this when it comes out.

AHHH . Eles mal saem do JP e quando resolvem sair vao pro Brasil. Foda.

    DAI no AF??

Cara, eu iria, nao importa o custo, tempo de viagem, temporal nenhum me impede de chegar nesse show.

    The itty-bitty tiny prince!! <3

    Those are nice~ : D

I've messed with charcoal in my frawing class too and it's sooo difficult at first, it feels completely different when you're used to pencils and it takes a while to get used to it... but I really like playing around with it, though it gets really messy if you don't set the paper vertically since your hand keeps brushing over it lol... Man, I miss those classes. :<

Sometimes I think I should create one of these topics too, but at the same time idk... I don't think my stuff are very good. But sharing sounds fun anyway D:

So keep sharing pls <3 haha

    this is very confusing.

    but anyways,

i know this isnt review page but ive got to say,

i really, REALLY LOVE THIS ALBUM .

this is very VERY weird odd quirky album mix of old and new, west and east style .

like always, diversity of mucc is something that always keeps me beating !

    What's confusing about it...?

I didn't get the chance to listen to it yet but I'm definitely listening to this tomorrow.

But say, it's on Spotify US? Weirdly enough, it's not on Spotify Japan... There's nothing by MUCC there. :<

    the previews were awesome.

like i have said like million times,

you can never go wrong with mucc.

I'd say you can. You can go wrong with MUCC. :(

But everytime that happens and I tell myself "this is it, i'm giving up", they take me by the hand and pull me back to them. So after those previews, I feel like they're holding my hand already ç_ç

There's no way I wouldn't get excited over a MUCC album, but those previews help a lot. They sound good!! :D

That BILLY song surprisingly sounds too much like this Tsukiko Amano song!! (actually a rearranged version of a b-side)

Also EMP..........it sounds so much like old MUCC! AAAAHhhsadpijgosuebggn ok i'm exciteddd
