This. Funny name aside, not digging the preview. Of course the whole thing may be better and they don't often disappoint but this may just be one of those times.

ditto on both accounts. Anxious to see what "G3" will be all about but as for the single I'm leaning with maiku on this and thinking it would have to be a transition single, if not then the pace would indeed be a bit unsettling. Either way as long as they keep up the good work I won't have any complaints D:

This. Every time I visit tonberry, I have the urge to end myself.

Nice to meet you Monsieur Cat. I can tell you're going to be a fine addition to the colorful cast of characters here at good old MH and thus I've created a portrait in your likeness. *hopes it makes it on the fridge*

[2] I am amused. Initially I got Nazi Batman sidekick/butler themed band.

Reminds me of Bad Romance kinda because of the structure but the song doesn't click with me as much. Still I like it better than Born This Way though.

I listened to all 14 some-odd minutes of this last night...and loved every second of it. T___T

Blood was the only truly terrible experience. Of course there have been other bad lives, lives to bands I'm not too fond of and well at the last Deg concert I lost my lip ring thanks to some girl who smelled like she shit her pants on the regular but that Blood concert is really the only concert I wish I could take back.

I can no longer look at Dora without thinking of Dee Snider now. Thank you Chianti.

Based on the band name alone, I'm devastated. ;____;

I was expecting this news soon lol. Anxious to hear how it will turn out after such a great album but since it most likely was made around the same time, shouldn't be too worried. Release date's pretty soon too so not too long a wait. Excite.

Hate them. Before they got really popular back home I remember going to Pensacola, FL where my mom is from to visit the grandparents and Crocs where like the king of shoes. Everyone wore them (don't understand why since no one walks there, just eat and drives), there were all these customizable options and ridiculous amount of advertising for them. I couldn't understand it, they were so ugly and it added just another reason to hate that place. Then they started cropping up back home and the rage was quite high. My mom even bought and wore a red pair for awhile (but only around the house, thank goodness. She isn't that crazy...yet That said as time went on my hate lessened, and I can say while I would never be caught outside wearing them (or friggin' uggs, to me it's a same difference except uggs serve no purpose.) I do understand why some people do. I have tried them on and they are quite comfortable and it lessens the hate understanding that they're quite practical especially with some professions. For example my cousin is a nurse and my aunt a doctor and a lot of them wear them (particularly the nurses) for work because they're on their feet a lot and it's a really comfortable option for them, so I can definitely forgive Crocs for something like that. And of course if you're making a quick run out to get something, it's no big deal either, it's a bit silly me to fuss over looking perfect for that kinda thing so yea wear your crocs, whatev. But I guess what it comes down too is as cibbico said, if you're wearing them with your everyday attire or when the occasion is formal, it becomes kinda obnoxious and it seems A LOT of people do that, and to me that's probably why there is so much hate as opposed to indifference.

Haven't listened to them in awhile but used to love them. Probably more so before Flash Back days but I still liked them as they were changing. I'll probably give the new album a spin when it comes out but won't listen to the leaks before then. D:

I think we were talking about the subscriber icon....? I hope. XD lol. And here I was hoping it was commentary on my awesome-tastic color changing abilities. ;____;

The oldest I got was Sep 28, 2008 http://replay.waybackmachine.org/200809 ... seternity6 I guess it can't go farther than the "mass last.fm suicide". Bummer.

Gonna try to be as chronological as possible and besides the first thing, gonna try to stick to Japanese music to keep it brief. At the earliest I used to listened to a lot of what my Dad listened to, so a lot of old-school when it comes to soul, blues, RnB, etc for the most part. Evanesecence, Linkin Park and System of A Down were probably the first rock artists I started to get into those days. So even though I don't listen to them that much these days they did start me. Do As Infinity is probably the most important band as without them I probably wouldn't have gotten into Japanese music as much as I did (I listened to some random J-pop here and there but DAI was the first band that really made me LOVE it and stick with it, instead of just a few songs I liked and threw away later.) and possibly not really have ventured outside of a western comfort zone. I also credit them with giving me a new focus, music, after I'd gotten discourage with my actual passion at the time Art. They still remain my favorite band. Art-School, Acidman and Spangle call lilli line , I credit with starting to pull me into becoming the J-indies brat I've been for the most part and getting my feet wet. So perhaps, they get some of the biggest credit for my music tastes since what they helped to initiate accounts for the majority of my listening. Alice nine is probably the only reason I got into visual Kei, even though it took almost a year after first listening to them before I realized they were a visual kei band lol. (Downloaded from a generally J-pop site and only because I thought their name sounded cool. I did/do this a lot and then am lazy getting band info until one is solidified into my heart). Prior to that a few bands that I liked were formerly visual but I wasn't really a fan of their visual periods and/or the visual kei bands I had listened to at that point (d'espairsray, Blood, 12012) I didn't really like, so probably without Alice nine, I wouldn't have ever gone to tonberry and by extension never have been brought to TW and tried out the visual scene, which I was really into trying for a year or 2, although now they're really the only visual band I actively listen to/follow. Not really chronological as it kind of spans a long time: Dir En Grey when it comes to memories built with those I consider my best friends they become quite important since they were central to a lot of things we did back in those days, most prominently lives. Even though D'ray was technically our first concert experience together (and mine period) none of us actually like them, so we kind of count Deg as the one. And obviously since they came to Amurrrika quite a bit we went to see them waiting out on the cold streets of new york pretty much every time, coming back even by the time we were in college (at which point it was more like a tradition then really about the show) and building some of my favorite memories. So not really a shaping of music tastes but I can't really talk about bands that have effected me without talking about them.

hehe, sure Which release are you talking about then? Reverb. The intro is misleading cuz it sounds good and like I said the music isn't too bad (it deteriorates a bit as you go through the mini-album tho) but the singer is beyond what one would call tone deaf lol. I think their recent thing was a single called Entrance. At any rate I'll send it to you whenever I get back onto my own computer.

Is it really that bad? I remember hearing something by them half a year back or so, and I thought they weren't that bad... It isn't the worst thing ever but yes I would classify it under bad. It probably sticks out to me though since it was in the mist of many an amazing purchase, so it's badness is clear in my mind. If you want though I can up and send you a link and you can hear for yourself =3 Also it's worth noting that they released something after the album I'm referring to, between which quite a bit of time had passed iirc, so they may have gotten better since.

This mostly. Of course it's more fun if a band is active and I can see them live and await for new music but in terms of just listening to a band it doesn't really cross my mind if they're disbanded or not. When I'm listening to a new-to-me band generally speaking the only thing I tend to know about said band is what their genre is suppose to be, I don't really lookup more info and I'm mostly just introduced to the music (this is almost always due to laziness on my part though =3). So if a band is disbanded I don't really find out until somewhere down the road, so there's no real effect on whether I'll begin listening to a band based on their activity status. When I think of my favorite bands none of them are really disbanded. My favorite band ever did disband once but they came back so...yea. When it happened though, I couldn't listen to them for maybe about a year because of the heartbreak, but after that they got put back into normal rotation.

Not a Cd but when I was still in elementary school and Britney spears was the new kid on the block, they gave us a cassette tape with "Baby hit me one more time" and another song on it (I can't remember which) but at the time I friggin' loved it. Still I think I'm more embarrassed that it was a cassette tape and I had a cassette player tbh. It's still around here somewhere, along with one of those old-school big ass cellphones. I should look for them. Recently I randomly/blindly purchased an album by Flowers in the Vasement, since it was cheap and I liked the cover art-work. Figured I'd try it out, whatevs. Music wasn't too bad, bad but not cringe worthy, but I was seriously embarrassed for the vocalist, so I only put it on for a good chuckle and didn't bother uploading it. I own a Blood CD, signed. I forget the name of it but it's from some white period they had. Back when my friend was on the street team and made me go to that show she'd gotten it for me for the meet and greet. I wasn't paying my own money for that crap. D: But I do still have it and I use it as a blocker, so it's always the first Cd in the stack in case anything falls on them so it's the one that get's cracked instead of the ones I actually care about (and it has btw). I'm not easily embarrassed so even a BoA cd here and there doesn't phase me but having something of Kiwamu's creation in my home does put the shame in me.

Leaves thread. =3 Actually even though I have a 160Gb player and I listen to tons of music the only things that I must have and never delete are my Do As Infinity and Alice Nine discographies. Everything else changes or would change if I didn't have the room to accommodate.

http://e.nikkei.com/e/fr/tnks/Nni20110312D12JF549.htm ^9,500 unaccounted for in Minamisanriku, miyagi. On the NHK live stream (which is what I've been tuned in for awhile) http://wwitv.com/tv_channels/6810.htm As far as the explosion. As far as I know they are still saying the reactor is not what blew or that the explosion was not in the reactor's container, but rather due to the wall that came down. But at the same time they're saying that there are amounts of radiation in the vicinity and that 3 of the 4 injured workers have been affected by radiation but it wasn't significant damage to them. Who knows what's really happening but officially they aren't saying its the reactor that blew.
