I already told my friend before she leaves this country, we must see one of his flawless performances. I wonder if he would give an autograph or at least a lock of his rainbow hair, I could probably make 3 wishes on the latter.

Preach it Maiku! lol but yea I feel the same way. I've been grinning like a complete idiot since the release. Everyday something else is added on to make me prouder too, the turnout for the signing yesterday was even more amazing than expected, especially when I compare it to the one for stargazer; (and there was karaoke for that one soo...you know come on, come on lol), my heart grew two sizes too big lawl. After this though I'm a bit anxious about whatever single will follow this album. Pretty much they're always kinda of an album leftover feel to 'em but I'm hoping they take some time between instead of releasing one soon. I'd wonder though if they'll revert back, keep with the album's style or progress a bit more, it's a bit nerve racking. As long as they continue to improve each time though, I can't ask for anything more and that's what they've been doing, building more each time. I think working with Okano (as opposed to the last guy) has helped them realize what their strong parts really are/have been and to magnify them (though in all honesty I still think the senkou single was the first sign that they were coming back better and he didn't have hand in that. I mean Le Grand and solar eclipse omg)...because as I said before I'm not surprised by what they've done necessarily, they've always had flashes of brilliance and I feel like there are enough allusions from past songs to back up the sounds in this album but they never quite took it all the way, falling back into the mold when they maybe should've pushed more...but with this I'd say they're finally just doing the damn thing. As for the lyrics, The kana has finally been posted online, so I should be able to move faster now that I don't have to squint into a booklet to figure out radicals or fucking stroke count for unknown kanji. lol. ^ It's funny you said that Tony, Saga posted his thoughts on all of the songs some days before the release and I was reading them today and If I understood correctly when he was talking about entr'acte (the interlude) he said pretty much that same thing, in keeping with "Gemini" it serves as a kind of mirror/riff between the 2 halves, the first half of the album is "the Alice nine you know" and the second half is "the Alice nine you didn't see coming". That really sums it up when it comes to the flow imo as well.

Took some time outta of my alice spree to listen to it but I gotta say it didn't really move me, I kept thinking it sounds like another song and then reading this thread realized which one it was. It's not terrible but I really can't say that I really enjoyed it either. I may give it a few more listens though when I'm less distracted and see if my feeling changes.

Throughout a few of the songs you hear things being spoken in the background, probably most notably in 4U...now the words for that part aren't in the booklet but I do remember at budokan when they played 4U they had the lyrics up on the screen and it including this part and I'm damn sure there was something about birth in the death, I can't remember it all exactly but It does add to the theory.

But actually, I believe there's a purpose for it. the line is something like everything is changing shape, so i believe these are supposed to be a visual representation of that. **In the kana both lines read "aishiteru" but in different forms of kana. The second being in Katakana, so I'm going to interpret it as more emphasis but it's the same thing twice really. ***Oh this line I hope I got it right but I'm pretty sure Katadotte comes from katadoru meaning to imitate, make in the shape of, represent. As I said when it was announced I thought it would be pretty kick ass if they kept it one song but you know, as it is, split right now...I think it's smart and at least people can now pick and choose their sections. Also you mean birth in the death right? yea, I think it is a continuation, especially after reading the lyrics at least they're connected in some way. Actually this can be said for most of the album I believe from a quick glance. D: There are some similar motifs floating throughout the songs anyway but especially once you get to the later half.
