If I listen to it more it'll probably grow on me, as I love Blink, but I'm so obsessed with Evanescence's new one that nothing else hold a candle... With the exception of the anticipation of Coldplay's and Florence and the Machine's new albums.

This one disappointed me. There were strong points, as on every album ever, but mostly I was just unimpressed.
-
Actually I have had it on repeat since the day it leaked. I LOVE this album and am thoroughly impressed with it.
-
So, I can't wait for Reprise, but K needs to wear a bag over his head or something. Mana looks beautiful as ever! I LOVE him.

I was going to read everyone's posts about the samples, but there seems to be too many for right now, so I'm just going to say this: The intro sounds fucking amazing. Venomous Spider's Web sound fucking AMAZING. Red was one of my favorite singles from this album. Sludgy Cult sounds kind of basic, but Suicide Circus sounds awesome. Letting the full version go until the album comes out. My Devil on the Bed sounds kind of lame from the preview, but I'm hoping the full version is really good. Untitled (I hate when bands do this by the way, specifically called songs untitled), but a nice slow song with a lot of synth: I'm gonna love this one! Pledge my least favorite single that made it to the album, but maybe I just need to give it more of a chance. The preview sounds pretty. Ruthless Deed: Didn't want to have to say this, but it DOES sounds very Dir en grey reminiscent, but it does have it's own Je Ne Sais Quois about it that makes me very excited to hear what the full version sounds like. Psychopath: Sounds like it's going to have a lot of energy and will be fun to blow off steam to, but not very adventurous or anything. Vortex: Favorite single was my favorite single. Tomorrow Never Dies: Sounds epic, I'm excited for the full version of this. Omega: I'm wondering if this is going to be just an outro or an actual song. Either way it sounds pretty cool. I really like the direction they went in for this album a lot more than I thought I would. This almost trance-rock vibe I'm getting is fucking spectacular.

My Devil on the Bed sounds pretty awesome, that's one of the ones I was the most excited for. Not too much longer to wait. Two more weeks.
-
I somehow find myself more enthused about the fact that it's a mini album rather than a single, but I really like this concept. I think it's going to be very good.
-
I like the smaller one, but is there a file of just the album art itself and not everything else floating around?
-
I have a general excitement for everything D does as I love them, but at the same time their last single was underwhelming so I'm hoping that it's different than that. Vampire Saga was a great album so if it's more like that, I'll be happy.

Cool! I'm very excited!!

Reviewing as I listen: 1. Cold Sabbath: Epic intro is epic, really didn't expect that, I was really impressed for just an intro. 9/10 2. From the End: A pretty cool track with minimal weirdness and maximum awesome. 10/10 3. Silent to My Pain: I never understood why this song had to be so fucking long, but I like it nonetheless. 9/10 4. Royal Blood: This one is kind of bland without many WOW moments. 7/10 5. Metamorphose: Another long ass single, but one I really loved as well. 9/10 6. As if Forever Exists: The original long ass single, beautiful composition, always loved it. 9/10 7. Continuation of Dream: I really don't like songs with even a hint of jazz influence in JRock music... They pull it off, but still. Eh. 6/10 8. Mind Confusion: This one is just kind of basic too, but Royal Blood had a bit more pizzaz. 6/10 9. Flowers Bloom: Not my favorite single, but a decent and solid track. 8/10 10. World in Flames: Really a very pretty mid-tempo song. I was expecting something with more power, but it's still nice. 9/10 11. Fall: Very VERY good bonus track, Riku's voice sounds more mature. 9/10 12. A.Hitlor: Okay... @ the title... Don't like the song either, just kind of a mess of noise. 5/10 13. Replicant Blue: Another mid-tempo ballad-esque song, enjoyable but no real power. 8/10 14. The Ins and Outs: Gotta say, very nice guitar work in this song. Impressive 9/10 Overall very very good debut album, made a permanent fan of me. 9/10 overall.

Short review: Vortex > Red > Shiver = Remember the Urge > Pledge > Before I Decay. This single and Shiver both had forgettable, but not altogether bad A-Sides and pretty great B-Sides, in my opinion. Pledge and Before I Decay were shit and Red and Vortex were amazing, but of course this is just my opinion. This particular single gets a 6, I'd say.

I'm currently dying. BLOOD is playing in Philadelphia! I need to see them!! Excited for the new single, is Kiwamu still taking part?

Good God. This man makes me worry so much. I'm glad he's doing better!

I think it'd have to be under Kozi though, Tetsu's not VK anymore, Gackt's ego's far too big and Klaha is probably dead in a ditch sumwhere. Mana just enjoys being a cocktease, he'll probably re-release a few concerts & albums for the 20th. I find myself agreeing with this. Especially Peace Heavy's comments. No matter who would be the vocalist, there would be two groups of fans that would be upset about it. Hell, even if they did Kozi as the singer, I'd be upset. I HATE Kozi's voice. It's damn irritating. Herpes, the last I heard of Klaha he stopped his ... *ahem* solo project *rolls eyes* because he was sick... Bet it couldn't have anything to do with low record sales... I actually LOVED Klaha as the vocalist and wish that if a reunion could even actually occur they'd chose Klaha, but I realize it's a pipe dream...

Ugh, too damn excited for this. I love Blink. I'll take 13 tracks, that's pretty respectable. They were just in Hershey and I wish I could've went. I'm hoping to catch them before they call it quits again.
-
I still really like MdM, so I'm glad to see they're doing more work together. However, they better not fuck this up in any capacity. I'm team Juka when it comes down to MdM, so I really hope this... Works well and doesn't make those brilliant compositions sound like shitty death-metal wannabe garbage. I wish reforming Malice Mizer was even an option...

Yeah that's... not cool. I like Ur so Gay because it's a funny song, not because I'm gay.
-
I don't really understand the Katy hating, but I don't really mind. Everyone has their opinions. I don't know what people want from her. It's not like she's some kind of musical God to begin with. She's definitely very talented, but she's not established enough to be respected too highly by too many people. I fucking love her though and don't care what people think.

You & I video was the second best video of the BTW era, next to Judas. the BTW music video had great choreography, but I didn't really... like it all that much. TEOG video was too basic for someone of such caliber and of a song that is so fucking PERFECT. As for the haters, IDGAF. I don't know why people hate on Gaga, it just doesn't compute to me because she has actual talent at writing, producing and singing. She can rearrange her songs and perform them with extreme power at every live she has. Not to mention, she doesn't do it for the money. She's an activist for the rights of gay people, which is something I think all gay people should take into account. Even if you don't like her music, that's fine, music is subjective, but you should at least appreciate her as a philanthropist. SIDENOTE: Anyone else freaking about about her duet with Cher? Cher is my favorite singer. Ever. More than Madonna, Gaga, Amy Lee, Kamijo, Hizumi, Jeremy McKinnon, and Katy Perry combined. So to hear that she's duetting with Gaga was the best news I could've hoped to hear.

I motherfucking love Britney Spears. Anyway, that set list seems pretty epic if it's true. Agreeing with Furik on almost all accounts. Nicki + Ke$ha = Motherfucking dream come true, especially doing Gimme More. Madonna presenting the award is AMAZING. I love all the other artists EXCEPT Demi Lovato. She is a shit stain on the music industry. She can't sing, she merely wails her way through songs. People give Miley shit for being a hot mess, even though I'm a huge fan of Miley, I'll admit she is kind of a mess. Demi is WAY more of a mess than Miley AND Miley actually has talent. Demi REALLY can't act and ALL of her songs are just... Garbage. Selena I actually love a whole lot. I think SHE would be the biggest inspiration of the three big Disney stars. She doesn't have any problems with being too sexual or being a drug addict like Miley and Demi. She has true talent at singing, acting and writing. Her only mistake she's made is Justin Bieber. With that, I want to start talking about Britney again. She's done an amazing thing with Femme Fatale. I've only ever liked her singles from albums before, this whole album is gold. Not as good as Born This Way, by any means, but it's a lot of fun and gets me in a good mood, which is all you can ask for nowadays.

I'm so glad someone made a topic about this perfect band. Evanescence is my favorite American band with my favorite personality leading it. She's dark and brooding, but doesn't take herself too seriously. She has a lot of fun with what she does and she's really beautiful. Her themes always work extremely well for me and I've actually seen them live a whole bunch of times. I live in Wilkes-Barre, PA and went as far as Hartford, CT to see them. After that concert, I went home and e-mailed them. I knew that they probably wouldn't read it, but I thought it was worth a shot. I asked them to come and play in Wilkes-Barre because they had a large fanbase here. That being said, I asked that if they did play in W-B they should play "Missing" as it's my favorite song, but they hadn't ever played it live before. WELL, this being said they DID come to W-B. Don't know for sure if I was the reason, probably not, BUT they DID play Missing and before they played it Amy said these words: "Here's something we've never played live before, we're playing it as per a fan request". ANYWAY, about the new single and album. What You Want is really radio friendly and very catchy. I like it a lot, but it's not their best work when compared with... The Only One, Lacrymosa, My Last Breath, Missing, Whisper, etc. The previews I've heard of other songs, though, are fucking immaculate so this album WILL NOT disappoint. Sorry for the long post, but I LOVE this band, lol.

My "inside my brain" voice screamed every single one of those song titles. Some are pretty cool, I like THE VENOMOUS SPIDER'S WEB, TOMORROW NEVER DIES, and OMEGA... and THE SUICIDE CIRCUS and THE DEVIL ON MY BED or whatever... They sound neat. Probably not DIM neat, but neat.

Nekkichi I swear there was some sort of movie that the members of Malice Mizer participated in. Of course, it wasn't high budget or anything. I knew about Moon Child that I'd really love to see. I love Gackt and Hyde. I also know Gackt participated in Bunraku which is now starting to be shown in America, finally. I'd love to see the one all about miyavi, I love him!
-
Weird. I haven't seen any JRock personas acting... Ever. Even though I know it's done. I want to see it, but I'd rather see Malice Mizer's and Gackt's movie roles first and foremost.
