Hnnnnng I'm ready for Moulin Rouge to slay my vagina.
-
I really love this song, I have high hopes for this album. Really high hopes.
-
Love the A-Side title, think it's a really cool concept. B-Side name is a little weird, but I can't wait to hear what this sound is gonna be like. More Orb or more Dracula? Love both of them so I'll be pleased either way!

Only reason I said "doesn't make me a bad fan" is because you had said something to the effect of "Jesus. This fanbase already" or something similar. Which I translated to "why would any fan of anything want to hear rerecorded songs but specifically x fans and if you think you need to hear rerecorded versions you're a bad fan", but I digress. Anyway, you're totally right in that it's just a difference of opinion, but you also seem to be making it appear that your opinion is gospel and that's why I used the word "elitism" when maybe you didn't feel you were being elitist but it appears that way when you're the kind if person that says things in the vein of "modern music and production value is dull and lifeless" I mean sure Justin Bieber and Austin Mahone are dull and lifeless, but if you take songs that were good and make them slightly cleaner and maybe louder through production, it doesn't make a great song any less good. And then guess what if you hate the new one just listen to the old one and there's your problem solved. I, personally, would just really enjoy hearing Say Anything with a 21st century feel that's all.

@Jigsaw9 Thank you for the confirmation, I was pretty sure I knew that but knowing makes me 100% happy that I'll be going. @Bear Please remove your music elitism comments from my general vicinity. I love X, obviously their original productions are what got me into them and they're beautiful in their original recordings. However, as a fan of music that has a modern sound to it, I would like to hear them with modern production values. Change nothing about them except the quality of the production. No changes to the music at all. And it doesn't make me a bad fan or embarrassment to the fanbase because I want to hear a newer production. @Peace Heavy mk II I'm going, you should go. Idk if I'm going alone yet or not, but I'd prefer not to. So you should go. @ Everyone else, I don't think the album they've been working on is a Best Album, I think this is just an intro to their comeback and that the album will be coming late this year or maybe early next year.

Real fuckin neato.

A) excited but not about the best of. They need to re record those songs really bad. I'm hoping there's a secret surprise release of a brand new album this year but I doubt it. I thought it was October 11th, not November 10th. It honestly could read either way I guess couldn't it. Do we have confirmation it's November 10th? Either way I'm there.

I do think the look is rather bad, but I don't think their sound is that different. they've always had an electronic element to their music and now they're focusing more on that than in other songs, true, but I don't think this one song is anything out of the blue.

This one sounds less good than the first, but there were a few that sounded okay. As always, looking forward to Kaya's contribution.
-
Oh, I didn't realize I guess. That kind of sucks. They're so good and deserve more fans.
-
Oh, that is kind of.... Lame, I guess. But the rerecorded Killing Me sounds good.
-
They sound really good live, and looks like they're already pretty popular! Would be awesome if they could play NYC.
-
Sounds great, are these songs all rerecorded for the album or is it just a collection of all their singles? Not certain what the point of SM is other than like one big release of singles but... Whatever! I like it!
-
Just realized that the new single's audio was posted. Definitely one of the best Buck-Tick songs I've heard in recent times. Really impressed with this sound, cannot wait to hear the whole album.
-
A self-cover already? Maybe a Lareine or Versailles cover? Who knows, either way I really like the idea of both singles. Seems one could be more bright and the other more dark. But I bet both will be killer.
-
I'm really looking forward to this. Their last album was incredible, but overall a lot to take in at once so I'm hoping for a similar sound or theme with the EP, but having less to digest at once could really make it an incredible thing.
-
That sounded AWESOME!!!! Cannot wait!!
-
Sounds great, looks great! I'm really excited about this now!
-
Song sounds okay, not particularly excited by it. I really liked the Madrigal de Maria album, kind of sad that this is more pop/rock and less heavy rock. Anyway, the covers actually look quite good to me. Really well designed.
-
Hopefully we'll be able to hear it then...
-
It does sound way more like the music in Phantasmagoria with Sui's voice. Which combines like the best of both worlds. This is a really good direction for the band. And that small preview is better than everything except possibly World in Flames. I can't wait for full songs from Lin 2.0
-
Thanks Champ, if I have time I'll check it out tomorrow. I'm quite looking forward to this EP, I think it can be a good start for a band with a lot of potential even if these songs are by no means mind blowing.
-
"New mini album" though, are they a band that's released before or are they a brand new unit? The previews sound nice, nothing extraordinary but pretty good. Also @fitear1590 YES. I was trying to hard to think about who that band was the other day. How like they had so much potential and then they didn't even do anything.
-
Just now heard the preview. It sounds amazing. Can't believe Sacred Xanadu is coming so close. Really excited for this new era.
-
I'm going to check this album out because I'm curious, even though I thought their (his?) first single EP thing was really atrocious, but this sounds great so far. Hopefully I will like it, not too much longer until I find out!
