Also playing GTA V on pc at the moment. Despite having some stretching of textures and whatnot, because I was so stupid to buy some bs amd graphics card, it runs pretty well for me too. The only thing that bothers me now is that there are still no animals in online mode :\ Other games I'm playing right now are Mortal Kombat X and from time to time some Dragonball Xenoverse(too bad it feels kinda unfinished :\ )
  2. GUNIW TOOLS will release their first single in 15 years, which will be sold at their one-man live at Koenji HIGH on May 18th. FLARE UP STARE tracklist 01. FLARE UP STARE 02. カタルシス詰まり

Thank you You know, there's always the option to move here =P Forming a band in germany became pretty hard, didn't it? :S I think I also know a few people around munich who play or want to play guitar, but yeah, a bit far away XD
  4. Hello there. I'm not too sure, how many people from Germany are even registered here, but I'll give it a try anyways. I want to form a kind of vk-influenced band around Düsseldorf/Essen/Dortmund. The plan is to create a unique sound, write songs, play lives and that stuff. There's no concept for the band yet, so that's also something we would work on together. So far we are vocals, bass and drums and we're searching for 1-2 guitarists and maybe some other instruments (keyboard? E-violin? etc)
  5. I'm interested in mad bless you by gullet. Is it still there?
  6. It's one of the female vocalists - I really hope they don't disband :\

I didn't read every post thoroughly, so I'll just state my opinion on it Personally I really liked the "drastic" looks they had back then. Especially the hair - nowadays almost everyone seems to have his sujimori thing going. I miss the spikes and that stuff. When it comes to the music nowadays there's an important part missing for me, which I hate when it's the genre alone: Punk! The bands back then used to have much more punk influences. Everything was kinda dirty and gritty (excluding lareine, baiser and the likes) - especially the guitars. Those are the main things that I miss. I'm glad there are still some bands who go for that sound - sadly most I know aren't that great I feel like all of this has been said already though (not only in this thread, but about everywhere )
  8. yeah my point was only about most newer bands. I still enjoy listening to the old stuff and there are even some very few newer bands that I can enjoy. I just can't see any more of those blitz and realies bands or the big bunch of "different" gazettes and whatnot - what made vk interesting for me personally was the originality of some concepts (and the many crappy old school bands, that are still entertaining while sucking) and that exactly is something that's becoming pretty rare
  9. ^also thought it was about the music ~ it's becoming really bad and repetitive with all the generic metalcore + dubstep breakdowns imo

too bad the preview is a cover ~ those screams sound interesting though and the others sound at least as if they know how to play their instruments. I hope they don't disband before we can listen to any songs they wrote themselves

Cali=/=Gari: I found a CD of them on eBay that nobody bothered to bid on, so I've got it for 1€. Listened to it like 100 times on repeat after it, because I loced it so much Asaki: I think for me tentei is by far the best release of 2013. It just blew me away! emmurée: randomly tried them out and loved the sound and their vocalist. deadman: Never really liked them that much. I think emmurée kinda opened that door though. Frau Potz: some strange German punk rock-ish band. I usually hate that genre, but their lyrics are really spot on and the guitars remind me of dredg, who are another favorite of mine.

  18. New cover: Dir en Grey - KODOU Practicing mixed voice and stuff - it's slowly getting there xD
  19. I agree. Doing that stuff while not being Japanese is really hard. As some others in here I know the amount of hate you can get when trying to do your own VK stuff, but still I try my best, as it is the thing I want to do. I also think, that the music should not depend on what VK bands usually do. I think music is most interesting, when successfully creating something new and/or innovative regardless of the looks.

Visual Kei in a nutshell - probably most people won't ever listen to even one song of them because they look weird. Pretty sad, as those songs really sound great.
  21. something new~ btw I shouldn't have updated the thread's name every time I posted new covers ~ Can't change it anymore, can I?

Hoping for less autotune this time. His "natural" voice is amazing.
  24. Thank you! I'm glad you liked it =) I guess I'd be bass-baritone, but I'm not too sure about it.
