I listened to a huge amount of PIERROT this year.

Echoing the love for Kagrra,'s shizuku. I could write an entire essay about it lmao, but t's unfortunate how unnoticed it goes after all these years. No band will ever come close to making the kind of music they did. I'd also like to mention one of my favorite albums from the decade: kannivalism's Nu age.

holy shit, that type A DVD setlist I can't remember anything from their last album, but their latest singles have been promising. I'm always down for new Pura albums anyway, so looking forward to it!

Fukai sounds alright. Don't care about the other two. I'm kinda pleasantly surprised at how much lighter their image has gotten recently, especially Kaoru. I guess it's the short hair. lol

闇火 IS SO FUCKING GOOD The album's been pretty much all I've listened to since it came out. It's indeed a lot better than A WILL. Also I need to say that Ryuichi absolutely killed it in this CD, he's sounding amazing.

So, what's everyone's favorite song off LUV so far? Mine have got to be The LUV, piece of a broken heart and 闇火, but I think I like pretty much all of them. lol I don't even mind the drum solo.

Judging by these previews, the album actually has the potential to be good? I think I liked the sample of The LUV the best so far. Limit is such a great song by the way. Even the sample still gets me pumped up. lol Easily my favorite single since their reformation.

aaaaand that's enough for me. "I wanted it to be for my sake" in particular hits home so fucking hard. Poor guy must've been going through hell within. I sincerely hope he's found rest somehow.

I've been watching these recent live videos (the ones with Chinese subs) for weeks now and they are SO GOOD! The TONIGHT performance from this same live is killer as well. Also fell in love with another song from A WILL, this time 銀ノ月, which I never really cared about. Ryuichi in particular makes it so good.

SHINee was the boyband with the best music by far and Jonghyun was one of the most talented vocalists to come out of this idol scene. Plus he seemed like a genuinely great guy. I'm truly heartbroken by this.
