yeah they're always a hit or miss. I ordered girugamesh last live dvd and it was shipped the day before the release date. but when i bought a dir en grey dvd it shipped like a month after release date.

i wish they would stop playing sustain the untruth as an the closing song on every live. kyo clearly struggles with it and it gets worse every time. i rather they go back to hageshisa... or clever sleazoid again.

2 songs in and I'm already hating this album. This is the same thing that happened after DIM came out. Great album and then the follow up was average compared to it.

I would love another mystery trade off. that one was really fun has a horror/darkness theme been used? how about something like your partner picks the theme/genre and you have to provide a playlist based on what your partner assigns you.

I've only ever listened to one song from A (エース) and I am afraid to listen to any other songs of theirs because I'm afraid none will be as good as ELEMENTAL ALCHEMICA ._.

None of them are as good as ELEMENTA ALCHEMICA but none of the tracks are bad. I don't think A made a single bad track. Some blase ones for sure, but nothing bad. Go with Ada's recs they won't steer you wrong.

Dude, there's nothing like EA in ALL visual kei. You're setting the bar waaaay too high, lol!
Even so, White album is their best mini, in my opinion. It's like an around the world travel in music styles, SO GOOD. Grafton Calling and Ouvertura are top 5 of their disco. Black album has some good tracks and Tales for the abyss is a sort of best album, so you're pretty much all set.
Talking about A makes me so so sad, they were way above their peers, and I still don't get why they're not reforming or something like that. Sucks to see Nimo's reaching the rock botton that is latest 4N'S

pretty much all live tracks from that era sound like Garbage The live tracks on the Ryoujoku no Ame single are horrible too. Poor Mr.Newsman

Yeah Abyss and Lucy were very good performances. But they will never top this DIM SCENE performance: This will forever be my favorite live by them

SiM and ONE OK ROCK have acoustic sessions with all the band members on most of their live dvds. It's not rocket science. I think the closest I've seen the GazettE perform an acoustic song was the beginning of LAST HEAVEN on that horrible Summer Live

my first DIR song was Hotarubi. I fell in love with it but never bothered to look for anything else from them. Then i randomly saw that Child Prey PV. That's when i decided to look for them on MySpace. This was at the time when Ryoujoku no Ame was released. Decided to buy one of their live dvds and got what i think it's their worst live dvd ever It Withers and Withers. I decided to give them another change and bought the 5 Ugly Kingdom dvd and then i was hooked. Still my favorite dvd.
