Im just amazed no kodou or the final in there. Its pretty much the entire TIW album with 3 extra songs. I gave that opening band a listen BYSTS or something like that and fuck that is horrible. I thought The Birthday Massacre was the worst opener I've seen with them but these guys top that

i don't hate it but i don't love it either. I'm still just glad to hear his voice again plus he is screaming/growling mildly so i'm still hopeful for a DespairsRay reunion again. This "band" is in dire need of a drummer and bassist and they may have some potential.

Hotarubi was the first DEG song I heard and not even that "special" meaning can stop me from calling it boring after i listened to more from the band. As bad as MOB is as a studio album I can't ignore that when played live is one of their best. DSS is the exact opposite for me, great studio album but while good live most of the songs the band can't fully recreate them. But everything they have recorded lately sounds like shit but then sound amazing when heard live. The Mode of... dvds made me see appreciate all albums in their own ways but if I were to pick the worst studio album it's Kisou.

Yeah this dvd missed the mark for me. i didn't mind the different live performances as like Nova said it was a killer live but i am not a fan of stopping the live performance to put some sound check footage in between songs (Sadie did this a lot and it annoys me greatly) plus not including the Encores to make room for these sound checks/ docu style footage is just stupid.

so this is basically like when Yoshiki tried to make an X Japan cover band but these guys actually did it

man i would be able to love this band so much if it wasn't for the horrible autotune. puts me off every single time

I did the VIP thing in 2013 in NY and there was no barricade. We spent about 10 mins with the band members and the translator picked about 3 people from the VIPs at random to ask 1 question each. There was about 40ish people in the group. The we got to take a pic with the whole band. Kyo covered his face and everyone but Kaoru were wearing sunglasses. After the pic we were allowed into the venue before the regular crowd but not to the merch as the merch was set up during the show itself. It included a copy of The Unraveling regular edition and a VIP poster that got destroyed during the show because i was holding it in my hand so I threw it away. I honestly did wanted that pic so it was worth it for me ( i don't post it here because it is very cringy) but i would never pay for a meet & greet with them again.

wow that vocalist seems emotionless both in the singing and in the performance of that video. he also has a pretty bad voice.
