platanity got a reaction from freesia in Disbanded Favorites/Bands That You Miss So Much
easily d'espairsray, rentrer en soi, and 9goats black out.
as for d'espairsray ... although angelo is a bigshot, but i still feel karyu could've been in a different band,
and zero and tsukasa is ... dont want to continue with the comment .
i wish takumi and mika stays on sukekiyo forever .
and as for 9goats, it seems they are doing fine, uta in sukekiyo, ryo in various projects .
id like to add deluhi, although technically exceptional and creative ,
i didnt like the juri's pop idol moves during performance .
if counting disbandment because of band member's pass,
id like to mention pay money to my pain and kagrra .
as for kagrra, although it was a misfortunate disband ,
they stood out amongst other neighboring bands .
and as for p.t.p,
come on it's p.t.p , enough said .

platanity reacted to Crube in DIR EN GREY - TOUR15 THE UNSTOPPABLE LIFE
I don't understand why some folks would be upset that the band is playing songs from their new album on the tour that's supposed to support the new album.

platanity got a reaction from nullmoon in the GazettE new album "DOGMA" 8/2015 release
i am not a big fan of the gazette, but i admit they do make catchy records .
and a comment on this , i love their albums since dim and above , especially toxic and division for being balanced, packed, and well-produced, while dim being the best for being conceptual and unique. before those, they had few great tracks amongst records (reila, hyena, filth, kare uta, etc), but they were too indie-ish to me (altho i see why the majority love their old works)
anyhow, i look forward to their new record, cause the last one "beautiful deformity", again, had few great tracks, but a poor and boring record to me .

I still don't know what the deal is with people hating Toxic. It's not as 'bleep bloop' as everyone thinks it is (Division has a lot more of this going on) and actually has a lot of catchy and varied tunes.

platanity reacted to Zeus in Dir en grey EU Tour 2015
Why is it that every time there's a problem on this forum you seem to be involved in one way or another?
There's a very clear difference between stating a negative opinion and just being plain negative and you have a very difficult time distinguishing between the two. If you had just said you weren't going because you had no way to get to the venue and no one to go with, that's one thing. I doubt anyone would have jumped down your throat for it. But then you go on to insult the band in a thread full of fans hyped to go see them live, and you get mad because people react this way? That's not a surprise at all!
Nobody is saying that you are not allowed to discuss not going to the concert, but you need to learn how to communicate your thoughts in a more constructive manner. Diction matters. You sound depressed, off-putting, and holier-than-thou whenever you talk about anything and that's not a good way to start constructive conversation. There's a time and place to be polemic. There's a time and place to be polite. There's a time and place to discuss both sides of a situation. There's a time and place where you only discuss one.
Instead of blaming other people and circumstances for the situations you find yourself in, I think it's time you re-evaluate how you interact with other people. If you're always experiencing problems both on MH and IRL, the only constant is you. And this isn't advice to avoid "getting in trouble" on MH, it's just plain good life advice that I implore you to heed.
And before you play the autism card, you aren't the only person in the world that has it. You aren't even the only person on the forum that has it. Don't use your mental illness as an excuse or a crutch to worm your way out of this one.
And don't tell me that "I wouldn't understand" either. I do.

EDIT: Everyone else stay on topic. Any future off-topic posts will be removed.

platanity reacted to nekkichi in sukekiyo new mini album "vitium" release
well he's the only recognizable/relevant face in the game, feels fair enough. sukekiyo is catering to kyo's stans, not 3/4 extinct mika of rentrer en soi tsunagari.

platanity reacted to Trombe in sukekiyo new mini album "vitium" release
for collaboration tracks, "elisabeth addict" is remixed by Danny Lohner a.k.a. Renholdër, and "latour" is remixed by Wes Borland(Limp Bizkit)

platanity reacted to greatest_dane in DIR EN GREY new album and DVD release
Damn you people sure know how to make definitive statements based off of 10 second samples...
"that went downhill"
"Mediocre album"
"DSS/Uroboros like"
"Going to be their best album"
"Going to be their worst album"
etc etc etc...
I have enjoyed the majority of what I've heard, but in no way can I make any kind of definitive statement about how this album will turn out.
Like I said, I remain optimistic that this album will deliver.
However, might I be mistaken? Most definitely.

platanity got a reaction from Tetora in MUCC - THE END OF THE WORLD
same here .
altho ive had personal affection toward mucc since mid 2000's ,
and it peaked when they've release 'kukichi no tou' and then the new era with 'saishu ressha' single ; mucc has never disappointed me .
as for this album , there were many people expecting post 'shangri-la' album but on the contrary ,
this album came out something totally different "once again".
every track has their own purpose and style for this album and i've got to say that they are still trying
something 'new' , although it might still sound as "trying" instead perfection-ing .
and yes i did notice they have tracked some songs with heavily low bass (so whenever i play those songs ,
my computer crushes the sound hah) , but i do like this as well somehow .
all tracks of this album are gold
score : 7.5/10

mucc has never disappointed me , even 'karma' album .
and has not disappointed this time either

platanity got a reaction from Raburr7 in baroque band name change to "BAROQUE"
i do admit sug life was a great album , but current baroque sounds so much better than any
other below-decent jrock bands , so id rather have them despite the changes in music and visual concepts, than
listening to weird indies or pinky rainbow color-dress-costumed-up make up overdo's .
and a nice surprise that tokie is participating !

platanity got a reaction from Tetora in girugamesh best album release
so everything was re-recorded after all ! i like the album so far, lot's of old memories and good comebacks!
-
platanity got a reaction from aiyuurika in girugamesh best album release
actually nu metal and post hardcore is still a metal . but different .
i do like to argue that both sub-genre has became like a 'hype' in late 90's till early 2000's but ... its still in the 'metal' hierarchy .
and there is nothing wrong with korn heh , it's just that i miss their 'korn' and 'life is peachy' era .
but getting back girugamesh ,
i do like where they are going, and i actually like the effect (i remember someone described as "fart sound effect")
but i did twitch my eye when i heard it second time in 'drain' .
altho, i used to love them to hell when they were at 'girugamesh' album era, and then mostly when they
released 'alive', 'border', 'crying rain', and 'now', , but i moved on to different styles afterwards .
