  1. i do admit sug life was a great album , but current baroque sounds so much better than any

other below-decent jrock bands , so id rather have them despite the changes in music and visual concepts, than

listening to weird indies or pinky rainbow color-dress-costumed-up make up overdo's .

and a nice surprise that tokie is participating !

  2. in no particular order

    JPN

DIR EN GREY - SUSTAIN THE UNTRUTH

    KUROYUME - KURO TO KAGE

    KUROYUME - REVERB

    LYNCH - GALLOWS

    HOLLOWGRAM - QUALIA

    GIRUGAMESH - LIVE BEST

    SID - OUTSIDER

    REDMAN - FLAME OF LIFE

    LM.C - PERFECT FANTASY

    ALICE NINE - SUPERNOVA

    NON JPN

    CROSSES - CROSSES

    WAITING LIST

    SUKEKIYO - IMMORTALIS

MUCC - (i forgot the title)

DIR EN GREY - (i forgot the title ... or dont exist yet?)

    SADS - (hopefully)

  3. i found the album surprisingly attractive despite the fact of the singles prior

to this release were relatively ... boring .

i loved the short se track and the succeeding track "kid"

but all in all , nice and clean album , and stood out very much

with the help of lacking nightmare's (simultaneously released) new album hah .

    3/5

  4. wow i am actually very looking forward for this ! and bringing nostalgia .

and i think it is re-recorded cause some of the vocals sounds different (not the quality but the melody itself)

and the mr/session is clearly re-recorded

  5. wow .

ill just shut up myself imagining kiyoharu giving them chance instead of dishing out with popular kids .

but still, not just because i dont know any of them (except leda/ryo) ,

but the bands just sound terribly indie visual kei-ish .

i really hoped majors like merry, lynch, or at least downy or any of those artsy bands participated in this .

  6. A LULL IN THE RAIN sounds like Kiyoharu's earlier rendition of Maria...and what's MAD FLAVOR doing there? Very post-2010 SADS-y, I say. The rest sounds like Kiyoharu's leftovers.

    Yawn.

you DO really hate modern kiyoharu/kuroyume/sads hah .

on the contrary, i dont see ANY reminiscence as a 'kiyoharu leftover' .

im actually surprised how they 'reversed' back their style to 'similar' old school kuroyume .

but then again, its not their fault how their new stuffs turned out to be .

an article ive read long ago, said that the materials are strictly selected by the company,

as for kiyoharu and rest of the crews can only 'suggest' .

so even it sounds like kuroyume, it can still end up in sads or kiyoharu, or sounding sads

could be in a kuroyume album.

i still love this, but not as much as headache dub reel inch .

but i guess it makes sense as this is their last release .

I AM WAITING FOR MY COPY AND THIS BASTARD COUNTRY IS TAKING WAY TOO MUCH TIME WITH CUSTOM CLEARANCE .

  7. holy shit. that was beautiful .

    it is beyond beauty .

it is nice to hear something melancholic and indigenous .

but yes, it could've been better if kyo would've 'controlled' using high pitch voice .

but still, i am looking very forward to this project .

  8. he must hate being in dir en grey so f much to release this unironically tbh

his recent godawful looks as a deg frontman suddenly become a form of silent protest performance art or something

still smw waiting for pv bc. mika and takumi

i just wonder what made you think kyo would hate being in dir en grey .

and this is clearly a live bootleg .

and im a little skeptical about the track (the vocal does have a strong resemblance to kyo but ... )

but if this is the real deal , i really like it .

it's like psycho version of downy with that freak attitude of early merry .

  9. GD  (no particular order)

dir en grey - the unraveling (archetypal)

daft punk - random access memories (just because of few tracks. but never liked the hype)

merry - fukurou (compact and stylish)

    kuroyume - kingdom (enuf said)

girugamesh - monster (stylish and modern)

    palms - palms (inspirational)

crosses - bitches brew / epilogue (my god)

mucc - halo (i love the main track)

david bowie - the next day (been waiting for this)

depeche mode - delta machine (been waiting for this more than bowie)

    downy - mudai (is it 6th? 7th?)

    ptp - gene (emotional)

lynch. - exodus / anathema (safe output)

baroque - nonfiction (actually so so)

mucc - world's end (just because the b-sides are golden)

    12012 - swan (for a few tracks)

    BD

the gazette - (i honestly forgot the album name, but did like the track after first track)

korn - the paradigm shift (huge let down, except never never, it grew on me)

    nightmare - scum (...)

sadie - (again, forgot the name, but i do remember it had strong resemblance to dir en grey)

alice nine - all singles (boring)

    screw - screw (screw them)

nell - (forgot the name, but nell became a garbage after separation anxiety)

k-pop - altho im korean, maybe im one of the rare koreans who hate their own music hah . i just hate them all . i might get crucified by my own country for liking japanese music but hating korean pop . never liked them and never will .

    LOOKING FORWARD (~PRE 2014)

kuroyume - guernika/i hate your popstar life (only a few days away)

kuroyume - kuro to kage (enuf said)

crosses - crosses (oh my god, why the fck february)

deftones - eros (rumors spreading, especially sudden random post up on their facebook)

luna sea - a will (nice to see them back)

merry - zero (hahaha , still waitin' tho ive heard it already, just curious about the b-side)

dir en grey - sustain the ogreface or lucifer, which ever comes first .

a perfect circle - ? (very looking forward to)

im very generous most of the time so if im saying its bad, then its really really bad from my perspective .

im sure there are few stuffs not on the list ... maybe it means it doesnt even come to 'bad', like, non-existential.

  10. you know, i thought the word "untruth" was a made up word cause ive never heard of it before ,but it actually exists, hah;

now that im mentioning this, i sometimes wonder if they even get checked their english lyrics and titles

cause above average english materials of japanese bands dont even make sense not even remotely , grammatically .

i know there are western artists using ambiguous poetries and lyrics (ie, chino from deftones, etc)

but those are actually 'words' and 'sentences' that just not make a 'comprehensive' dialogue .

ive seen few footages from a few japanese bands' documentary videos showing some english speaking guys (american? british?)

checking the lyrics for them ... but still, some of them are just really funny (especially the gazette and their weird titles and lyrics)

and who are these turkeys letting these good japanese men sing weird stuff . (indies are off the hook, dont even expect them

to spell words correctly) . no pun intended, it's just that i think they couldve at least 'choose their words wisely'. again, no pun intended .

but back to the cover art, i think it's still way too hideous, even for dir en grey . and the title still bugs me the fck out .

nonetheless, im sure the music will speak for itself :)
