  1. I was quite bored several months ago and made a collage cover for the band's self-titled album:

    avelcain___avelcain_by_macabre_666-d86it

Not sure why I waited so long to upload it...

I was gonna re-do it, get more pictures and make sure there was an even amount for each member, but that was around the time that karma cut himself and I though, "...yeah, I don't wanna scroll past that image again."

  2. Well from Plastic Tree's songs there would be Yuki Hotaru thats a winter song . The one you posted has not much to do with winter .

lol I know, 空中ブランコ is not a winter song at all, but I fell in love with that song around Christmas time, that's the only reason it counts for me.

雪蛍 is a good one, too! I got into all the pre-ammonite material around the same time, so the album cell. does evoke the same "winter nostalgia" that Chandelier does.

  3. The lyrics are not Christmasy at all (I'm pretty sure the song was used to promote jewellery), but it is one of my "winter songs," plus it brings back memories of Christmas 2010, and experiencing my very first hangover a few weeks before that time lol. Also, it was first released as a single in December, so I guess it's still appropriate...

Another Not-Christmasy-Song that brings back memories of previous Christmas times

I think this song may be Christmas-related, though...

it also evokes memories of when Alice Nine was great band that I was always hyped about

Yeah, I don't have much music that's technically "Christmasy," it's usually just music that evokes memories of past Decembers. I listen to something or discover it during that month and years later, I'm reminded of Christmas. Full-length album examples include: I started listening to Dir en grey's 鬼葬 and Opeth's watershed around Christmas-time in 2008. To this day, both albums remind me of that time.

  4. I like it, it would be a useful guide to have on the forum, considering the amount of iTunes JP purchases. If one of you would like to write a guide about it I really wouldn't mind stickying it because it could be quite useful. I'm not yet sure where we'd have to place a guide like this, but I'm sure we can work something out.

Yeah, I asked Zess about where to post it a few weeks ago, and he wasn't sure. @fuyushita_risou actually PM'd me a walkthrough of her process of creating a JP iTunes account (and said I could use whatever I needed from it), so I'm gonna take a look at that and see if it'll help. But now that I know that more people would be interested in a tutorial, I will try to get this off the ground soon, and am willing to get serious about it.

Also, as soon as I can get the money to, I will buy a JP iTunes card and create a new account from scratch (and later change it to another country), and I'll document the process (whether it's screenshots or screen capture video, etc).

    03.Sustain the untruth [REMIX]

    04.Unraveling [REMIX]

    06.鱗(uroko)(Crossover ver.)

    [deluxe edition Blu-ray/DVD track list]

・Un deux (Shot In One Take)

・Chain repulsion (Shot In One Take)

    TOUR14 PSYCHONNECT -mode of "GAUZE"?-

    2014.08.30 SHINKIBA STUDIO COAST

    ・かすみ(kasumi)

    ・蜜と唾(mitsu to tsuba)

・激しさと、この胸の中で絡み付いた灼熱の闇(hageshisa to kono mune no naka de karamitsuita shakunetsu no yami)

    ・BEHIND THE SCENES OF ARCHE

Sadly I think those are the only 3 tracks from the PSYCHONNECT tour that'll be included  D:

Uhh... those three songs make up the mode of GAUZE feature? If so, that totally blows! Only one of those songs appeared on GAUZE, and it was also re-recorded! At the very least, the three songs could have been ones that were on GAUZE and haven't been re-recorded.

  6. Did their origami distro ever surface? Or am I confusing that with otegami?

You're confusing it with Otegami. The Origami single has yet to surface. :/

  7. I had an econ test today... it didn't go well at all. I wanna say it raped me, but I should know better than to say stuff like that. After the test that I feel will destroy my life, my phone began freaking out continuously. It is sort of like an iPhone equivalent of The Blue Screen Of Death. If I didn't have school tomorrow, I'd be exasperated at the very most, but... I'm afraid... the possibility of going an entire school day without my phone? How else will I tune out my art teacher?

...and don't get me started on that stupid fucking cunt!!

  8. Otegami feels a little too long, but I do like it - they could have easily cut a minute off.

I do kind of agree, they could have taken out the last 30 seconds. Every time I hear that song and reach ~4:38, it sounds like it's over but then that last part kicks in and I'm just thinking, "was that really necessary?"

  9. I also agree that BELIEVE is a truly amazing song that I cannot stop listening to, BUT I also love the other two songs.

Also, I'm guessing BELIEVE is a more optimistic sounding song, judging from karma's tweets (translated by fuckyeah-avelcain)? The song also sort of feels like a followup (or epilogue) to Shinigeshou.

IMO, this single is tied with 妖の匣, which both rank above 夏の終.

  10. I was planning on making an "official" guide to purchasing on the Japanese iTunes store/レコチョク (that I would have tested out myself, with clear and concise instructions/screen caps), but unfortunately my schedule filled up, and I may not have time to do it this semester. I'm sorry. :(

That site that Dark Water linked might be best for you (price-wise), since you live in a country that uses the euro.

Any users in the US that are reading this, I would recommend getting codes from OffGamers. Their prices seem to be good.

ONLY buy from Japan Codes if you want a レコチョク card. Otherwise, I'd pass.

  11. nu Chemical Romance

loool it's nu Chemical Rhetoric. Sorry, just had to correct you on that. XD

Anyway, glad one of the rare songs, Carnival, is going on the album, but atm I think it's kinda weird that 群青 is the last song. I'll have to listen to it again, but from what I can remember about the song, I don't think it would properly end an album.

Still have high hopes for the new stuff; looking forward to it! :)

Also, liking that the standard edition has a lower price than usual, even if it's only by $4~5.

  12. Holy shit, the standard version's only $19?! Cool! Might buy my own copy for that price.

I was kinda hoping that there wouldn't be an opening SE; I'm getting tired of those, and Code:0 was a fantastic way to open up FOCUS...

...... well now that all the complaining is out of the way... ZOMFG I'M SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS!! And OMG 自壊's gonna be on it! I knew it would be a last song. I wonder if it'll be longer, maybe the demo version put out last year was just a snippet?

Now to decide if I want to listen to the PV preview, or wait 'til I get the album.
