No matter how many times you rub an eraser on yourself, you can't erase your being a mistake.

Welcome to MH! I'm always glad to see new faces around here. I hope you have fun and feel at home! Nice band list you got there, that's a good taste! If you like those bands then I'd recommend you 蜉蝣 [Kagerou], DIMLIM (you might listen to them already idk) and R指定 [R-Shitei].

In my opinion, it's missing some flair. How about "Mega Homos of Monochrome Heaven"? I like the sound of it, it has some nice enunciation. If that's a little much, then the current name is just fine imo. I imagine that a more PC name would be like "MH Gay-straight alliance" or "The MH LGBTQ+ Club" and that just sounds boring and drab to me.

Barely putting put new stuff... Quitting after a few months... Just like a modern VK band! Okay, okay, I'm just messin' with you (and the industry) for the luls. But for real though, it's a shame that it turned out this way. I always liked your solid music taste, but hey, that's gonna be with you whether you're here or not. Considering how small this community is, I bet I'll see you again somewhere else. Have safe travels, good luck, and until next time!

Nothing's better than playing with friends! I've been playing some Music Racer with @Cantavanda (when we can get it to work, that is) and it's a blast 'cause we always agree on the music selection If any Monochromians ever get it or Audiosurf 2 then please add me on Steam so we can play together, I'd love to 😼

Eh, decided to have some fun with some soft cosplay this Coronaween Halloween. I'm so glad I never went full Emo during high school, I used up an entire eyeliner pen for this look (#><)

Happy birthday, Beatrice! I hope you enjoy your special day

Goddamnit, I really liked these guys... They were such a blast of high-energy fun. Even if RAKU X GAKI is done for now, I hope that the members will continue with different projects, though.

This like the Japanese version of that guy who impersonated Mike Portnoy of Dreamtheater, except he's scamming for cash instead of sex.

We got 10cm (that's 4 inches, Americans) of snow today, so I've been listening to "snowy songs". I'm feeling the cold inside of me... Mostly because the damn power went out for 3 hours which made the the heater turn off as a result

Hmm... I always wonder if I'll ever end up in a relationship stable enough for children. I get a sneaking suspicion that it won't happen, but I'm too young to know anything for sure. I have a little less time to have kids than the average woman, unfortunately. Serious reproductive issues run in my family so I have to become pregnant before my early thirties or else I run the high risk of miscarriage and unsafe pregnancy. I would say that I like kids, but I am severely out of my element with them. I didn't get a lot of experience with younger kids my whole life. Nobody wanted me for babysitting because most families choose the kids of people they know over strangers, my few friends growing up were either only kids or the youngest in the family, and I'm a first generation immigrant who left every single member of my family--except for my mom who brought me here--behind. When I get a chance, I like talking to kids. They're always willing to learn and I love teaching kids new things such as new words and new things to do. I'm a bit concerned about the physical exhaustion that comes with kids, though. I'm already low-energy as hell (even had to go to the doc to get tested for some disease or lack of iron and they don't know what's up with me) so I'm not sure how I would fare if I had to care for a kid on top of myself. In the end, I would say that if the pieces fall in place and I have a stable relationship and financial situation, I would like to do my best to raise a child with my life partner.

Hearing shit like that "thunk" when bandomen hit their acoustic guitar being left in the studio recording makes me so happy. I dunno... As music gets more and more processed and hi-fi and perfectly produced there's just some magic in the intimacy of hearing something so raw and real... Something you're not supposed to hear in most cases because it sounds unprofessional.

I just finished Doki Doki Literture Club yesterday and wowee, as someone who reads VNs regularly I'm kind of glad that I experienced it after reading other stories in its medium. I didn't find it horrifying but enjoyably subversive when compared to the traditional dating sim storyline. Ah... I can't spoil it too much, but if you've been meaning to read it and haven't, give it a try! I also play some Audiosurf 1 & 2 here and there and it's great!

Um, BTS who?! Man's got more moves than any Kpop group 😤 Memes aside, Mr. Kaneko is clearly a professional and I'm in awe. There's a lot of musicians in this forum but y'all mind if this dancer goes off? His form is so nice and straight--see how even the tips of his fingers are disdended when he preforms his pirouettes? That's the kind of presence and form every dancer aims for. Even after many years, I find it quite tricky! Also his more taxing moves (such as moves that transition him from the ground to upright) have this smooth, well-balanced quality that takes a shitton of practice and also physical effort. These moves often throw off your centre of gravity so sometimes you'll end up with jerky movements when getting off the floor, but Reijiro here maintains his balance perfectly. Also, the parts around the 4:00 minute where he pretends to be off balance as he travels across the floor (for dramatic/artistic effect) are another showcase of his strong form--never once do his arms or legs show any release of tension as they maintain deceptively smooth movements.

How to wear makeup in a GOD-HONOURING way Bandomen with inverted crosses and edgy Kanji painted on their face: 👁️👄👁️

Yo, shout out to the kind East Asian man who showed my mom where the Ramune candies were (meant to be a gift for me, I'm addicted to them) at the Asian supermarket, you're a real one 😎 Also good choice on picking the Shuwa Shuwa powder ones, I'm loving them!

Necro'd this topic for a fun fact about my username! It's not merely a pun, but also kind of stems from when I was bullied as a kid. I would say it was the worst when I was in 2nd grade, probably because a lot of my friends left my side and sometimes I would have kids throwing things at me (mostly playground pebbles and the occasional toy, I always got into so much trouble just because I would throw them back!). I got called a lot of names, like psycho, spaz, freak, and even retard (makes me sad to think that at 9-10 years old, those kids knew that word). Yeah, I remember the phrase "total psycho" from my childhood really well. To be honest, I'm not really sure what came first, my perverse behaviour as a child or being called all these names and being treated like a pariah. I kind of own it now, though. I'm proud to be psycho... A Saikou Because if you look at it from a different perspective, even bad things can be good.

Ngl Funeral do be kind of fire tho 😳 I've always unabashedly loved the lynch. ballads, so this album hit a sweet spot for me. Plus the stripped back instrumentals allow Hazuki's voice to stand out more than ever and wow... According to Last.fm, I've listened to lynch. nearly half a thousand times but he never stops impressing me.

Good on the hackers for trying their best, but I really don't think there's a feasible way to ruin this man's image anymore
